AL sat and had a great chat with Phil Gillam about his fantastic annual, The Shrewsbury Review. A stunning book that perfectly illustrates the town. From the beautiful buildings, the inspirational women of the town and even a 100 question quiz.

We were sat in the middle of Shrewsbury Market Hall (thanks Darren from GinDifferent) having a very relaxed chat where we pay homage to some of Shrewsbury's budding champions, including Mr Gillam himself.

Phil talks about the hard work that has been put into putting this book together and having seen the book for ourselves we can tell you, it's a thing of beauty. The perfect "Coffee Book Table" as AL puts it!

I've never had much pride for where I lived, until I moved to Shrewsbury and it's the pride shown in people like Lorraine Fletcher, Sarah Hopper, Katy Rink and Phil that has inspired me to do what I do. The Shrewsbury Review is the perfect compliment to such a wonderful town. - AL
