Hi, I'm Rob Carver, author of the book, 366 Days of Tennis,

a tip a day to improve your game.

And today I got a great tip that's going to help you with something that happens to every tennis player.

You just called your opponent shot out and they immediately complain.

Rather than getting into an argument with your opponent,

just validate their concerns.

And at the same time you're going to squash them and move on to the next point.

Here's what you say when they raise an objection about your call.

You say, "Hey listen, I'm sure from where you are that shot looks in,

but from where I am I can tell that the ball is clearly out."

And just calmly walk to your position to start the next point.
