“A murder in the past. A mystery in the future!”
The marketing promises a 1960s nostalgia fest with bright colours and a pumping soundtrack. It is in fact a murder mystery with a touch of time-travel. And that’s perhaps the problem. The marketing didn’t tell customers what the film was about, and many stayed at home as a result. The film failed at the box office despite the rave reviews. We have a close look at why the marketing might be to blame.
