It's all about how to use Pluto

and Aquarius to make big leaps

in your business, primarily

through authentic marketing.

And today's episode, we're really going

to focus on joining aligned communities.

This is paramount in the space.

and for spiritual entrepreneurs, we really

want to make sure that we are connecting

20

with people who have similar visions and

values so that we are able to build the

21

world that we've been dreaming of, as well

as the income that we want to utilize as

22

this energetic resource to effectively

build this world, not just energetically,

23

but in the physical material world.

So I wanted to start out with

sharing some experiences about how

25

to join or find aligned communities.

26

I've noticed a lot of people in

my business circles say that they

27

have a particularly a particularly

hard time finding aligned circles.

28

Usually, it may come up with the premise

of being a safe space, but then it

29

can turn into some kind of money grab.

30

Or you get into the space and then you

start to realize like, Oh, even though

31

these people said they have their

values, the same as me, they're not

32

actually prepared to live those values

or to hold space in the capacity than

33

I had maybe initially anticipated.

So if you've ever had those

experiences, know that you're not alone.

There are ways to avoid

that in the future.

And.

Moving from Pluto and Capricorn,

which is very much individualistic,

it's about climbing the mountain.

It's about achievement and your

achievement, meaning that somebody else

40

does not have that same opportunity.

We're now moving into Pluto and

That's a 20 year cycle and it really is

about how you can use your unique gifts

and qualities to uplift the collective

simply by being authentic, which I love.

That is something I deeply believe in.

I believe when we tune into who we are

at soul level, when we honor our soul's

46

blueprint, when we honor our physical

body and our brains and the conditioning

47

that they've already experienced, that's

when we truly have power because we're

48

able to observe how they are interacting

with the world, the external world that

49

they're creating for us, as well as the

internal world that they're creating for

50

us and how to shift it moving forward.

So.

Something that's been huge for me, in

terms of finding aligned community has

53

been doing the things that have been

sitting on my soul for a long time.

This moved my business

forward substantially.

I'm going to teach you three ways to

find aligned community so you don't have

56

to second guess if you're safe to share

fully and you know that it's okay to be

57

vulnerable and fully authentic because

you're going to receive that genuine

58

connection rather than creating a barrier,

based on your own fears or projections of

what you think is going to happen next.

So the first tip I have

for you is to do something.

That really lights you up.

Do that thing that you have had

on your to do list for years,

but have been procrastinating on.

Maybe you tell yourself you

don't have enough resources or

that it's not important enough

or that you will get to it.

Eventually.

I want to tell you today to stop putting

yourself off, stop pushing that part

of yourself down and start exploring.

Exploring it because it's got the

juiciest information for you, and

it is definitely going to help

you advance your career forward.

And that's actually why your

brain is telling you not to do it.

Your brain is afraid of the

change that it's going to create.

And that's why you're having

that dissonance there.

So something that I did for myself that.

Felt extremely scary was, actually

I was looking for my first retreat.

I'm a mother of two happily

married for almost 12 years now.

And I love my family.

I'm a Taurus rising, love to be at

home, but sometimes it can be very

hard for me to leave that space.

space because I enjoy the comfort.

I enjoy the love of my family.

I enjoy spending time with them, but I

kept feeling this intuitive nudge that I

needed to explore breathwork more deeply.

Now I use that in my day to day practice,

because that's one of the first things

you learn as a Reiki master teacher.

When you're going through the Reiki

facilitation program, you learn

about the power of the breath.

So I had done small

versions of breathwork.

I'd never gone deep.

Deeper than I'd say probably 10

to 15 minutes of breath work,

but I knew that it was something

that just kept calling my name.

So I would look up breathwork retreats.

if you don't know, I'm a woman of

color and I would feel very much

like, oh, no, this is another

whitewashed version of breathwork.

I really want to get deep.

I really want to go be in a diverse

space with a unique set of people

rather than feeling like, oh, my

gosh, I'm the only black girl again.

So I didn't want that experience.

So I just kept searching, but I

wasn't finding anything that resonated

with that around the same time.

I kept getting this inkling

about writing a book.

And so it would show up in, I would

see, some friends writing books.

Wow, that's really cool.

And so I'm so happy for you.

Or I would be in a group coaching program

and a bestselling book coach would enter.

And I'd be like, what is this?

Like, and I just kept hearing it.

And Actually, for years, I would

receive messages from other intuitive

saying, you need to write the book.

You need to write the book.

And I'm like, what book?

I have no intention of writing a book.

But now, several years later, I'm

like, no, I do want to write a book.

But there was part of me that was saying,

Hey, you know, that when you write a,

when you write, you can get a little

analytical and maybe a book isn't the

best path for you because you're just

going to overthink the whole thing.

So I let it go, trusting that

my intuition would guide me.

Bring me to exactly where I needed to be.

I ended up going to my first business

conference, which felt really

aligned, really exciting to me.

I was ready to connect with all these

powerful female business owners, many of

which were women of color and it was very

inspiring at this conference, they had

123

some additional activities we could take

part in, and one of them was breath work.

So immediately I, you know, I was

a little hesitant at first because

it was a business conference.

I didn't want to seem too spiritual

to "woo", but I was like, you

know, this is my opportunity.

I'm going to sign up.

I sign up, I do the breathwork session.

It's 30 minutes of heaven.

It just really connects

me back in with myself.

And then I start connecting with all

these other women within the community,

sharing the visions and experiences that

we had within those breathwork sessions.

Jump to four weeks later, I

end up at this facilitator.

the same one who, who was

facilitating the breathwork at the

business conference, she hosts.

A breathwork and book writing retreat.

It blew my mind, but if I hadn't

been willing to go to my first

business conference, even though

it felt uncomfortable, it felt like

it's shifting into a new identity.

Had I not been open to that experience,

I never would have been able to then go

on to co author a book at that retreat.

And then Months later in November,

November 3rd, I was able to really

step into my power and do the largest

speaking engagement I have ever done yet.

So it was a really exciting experience,

but it was all about honoring these needs

that for so long I've been pushing away.

So if you have some needs or desires

that you keep telling yourself are

frivolous or that you're not ready for,

or that you're going to mess it up.

If you do get the opportunity.

That is a sign to keep looking.

The universe is trying to connect

you with that specific energy so that

you can have those leaps forward in

your career and in your business.

So the other aspect that is

really hard for spiritual business

owners is asking for help.

So I saw this right before

this big speaking engagement.

I spoke at breath of gold live.

It was this beautiful combination

of Speakers sharing how they've been

transformed by their breathwork journeys.

I was a speaker there and then it

was also paired with breathwork and

it was a transformative experience

for everyone who is there.

But for our speakers, we actually had

a mini retreat prior to the event, just

so that we could get in touch with each

other, sync our energies, hype each

196

other up, support each other, get to know

each other and build a really solid and.

Authentic connection between us before

we hit the stage together and throughout

that process, it was interesting

because I, in my mind, I'm looking at

all these other people as, oh, my gosh,

there's so much more talented than I am.

They're going to have so much more to say.

Am I really going to have?

Enough to offer the group, but we

would just sit down at meals and

people were so vulnerable about what

was coming up in their business that

felt out of alignment with themselves.

And we would sit at the dinner table

and just discuss strategies, discuss

the parts of, Ourselves that maybe

we weren't acknowledging or allowing

to enter our business because I

truly believe business is holistic.

And when we honor all parts of

ourselves, that is when our business

is able to thrive and to make money.

So we talked to each other and we ended

up coming up with these fabulous ideas.

And what is amazing is that these

ideas, some of them are able to Move

into fruition weeks after the event.

So today's November 15th, one of the

participants has already been offered

basically the realization of this event

that we conceived only 12 days ago.

So it's just really powerful to get that

energy moving in aligned communities

where people are really truly there

to support you, to be vulnerable and

to let them know, Hey, I'm feeling

concerned about this and notice the

218

shifts that you're able to make.

When you allow yourself to receive

help, because that is a, a huge thing

for us as spiritual business owners.

Most of us are empaths, and we receive

task based love, meaning we usually

222

have to earn it, prove ourselves,

whether that is emotional management

or it's usually emotional management

actually, or making sure things

224

are perfect for those around us.

That is where that comes from.

And.

In business, we really have

to shed that in order to move

forward in meaningful ways,

and so the last tool that I want to

give you, or the last insight that

I want to give you and how to make

these large leaps forward in your

business, it is the willingness

to show up that leads to success.

So a common indicator of

success isn't actually Income.

It isn't actually being the most skilled.

It's not being smart.

the main indicator of your

success, particularly in business

is your own grit and grit is the

willingness to continue forward.

It's essentially perseverance and knowing

that you can overcome challenges, but you

But you have to also have the willingness

to face them and to take action.

So something that I have learned and it

has been humbling by the way, is to just

show up in that will lead to success.

Now I'm a recovering people

pleaser and perfectionist.

So that to me is painful.

It makes me want to rip out my hair.

I'm still healing.

You know, we're all on

a healing journey here.

But 1 of the experiences I had, my 1st

speaking engagement was at a local shop

called Lotus Flower Om Apothecary in

Colony Square in Atlanta is beautiful.

If you want to go there and get some

support, they have a vast array of

holistic supplies to really support

you I love the brand myself.

I love the owner of the shop.

Symphony lyricist.

She's magical.

And she invited me to do my

first speaking engagement there.

And it's my first solo

speaking engagement.

I was very excited, but also very nervous.

It was going from, I

think six to eight 30.

I was going to speak from six

to six 30, which was fine.

And then just basically mingle for the

rest of the night with the attendees.

What happened was.

No one showed up at six, just crickets.

and I sat there and I was speaking

with symphony, asking her like,

okay, so like, what do we do?

Like no one is here.

What if no one shows up?

What do we do?

And she was, she looked at me

and she said, we just enjoy.

And so we started eating these

little light bites, getting

involved in conversations, just

connecting with each other.

630 rolls around my sweet, beautiful

mom came and she's like there to

watch me give a speech or at least

support me or like, you know, see the

purchase, but no one is still there.

It's just me, the shop owner.

And now it's my mom, and a

friend of the shop owner.

And so it was just, it could have

been something very deflating,

but I decided, you know what,

I'm just going to hang in here.

I'm going to have this experience.

I'm going to trust that it is in

alignment with my highest and best good.

It was also.

October 2nd.

So the full moon in Libra, which

is all about relationships.

And so I just wanted to make sure

that I was being open to any sort of

relational shifts that could benefit me.

So I hung in there around 7 p.

People start filing in one after

the other ends up to be a full room.

It was, It's just so surprising.

So I did end up giving my speech.

I ended up connecting with multiple

people from the experience and building

my email list with soul aligned people.

But if I had said to myself,

okay, this is a failure.

I need to go before I am

embarrassed essentially, or,

you know, I should hide forever.

I shouldn't do speaking engagements.

Clearly this is the

sign from the universe.

I would have missed out on

these meaningful connections.

So once again, to recap.

The three things that you

really need to focus on.

If you want to have your business take

leaps forward in progress and leverage

the Pluto and Aquarius energy, one,

do that thing that you've been

putting off because you think it's

frivolous or you're not ready for it.

That's exactly what you need

to do to take that big leap.

And the benefit of that will

be finding and building your

aligned spiritual community.

To be vulnerable with

other safe entrepreneurs.

This can help you circulate some more

energy and give you new ideas and solve

solutions in a very carefree way while

also being supported in your community.

Three, just show up, show up to

that opportunity and be willing

to be there because your presence

is going to equate to success.

Whether it goes how you anticipated

or not, you will learn lessons

that will prepare you in other

aspects of your business as you

continue forward on your journey.
