the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. For whoever wants to save their life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
“Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
(Read about Joshua commanding the sun to stand still)
For he “has put everything under his feet.”[Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.
Takeaway:
Today a people are beginning to see who God has made them and are taking their place in His body. By faith they are moving into those greater works with one drive – to see Jesus Christ's lordship fill the whole earth.
It Is The Time!
We've entered into a baptism of death to our soul - flesh, nature. We are continually pressing on to know the Lord. The fulfillment is being Christ in the earth, and to know the Lord. When you know Him, you become. You become something more than who you were.
Letting go of yesterday, of everything, of our feelings, of our emotions, paradigms. Appreciate what Paul is saying. Let everything go. Just holding on to, so and so did this and so and so did that. That is old thinking. It keeps it in to the old. Because the old cannot be with the new. It's not worth holding on to. God has so much more.
We're not the same people we were, even yesterday. We're changing on a daily basis. Just setting your spirit on the things of God and allowing God to move into your life in a different way every day. Everything that we've ever received from God - it's an expanding; it's becoming more and more.
There's that verse in the scriptures that says “'he that shall save his life shall lose it,” and he that loses his life.” It's talking about our soul life. He that tries to save his soul life will lose it. The Lord's got other things in mind and other priorities. What really matters to Him, and in our relationship with one another, what is really important?
I really think we've come to a place where the things that we see, that are passing away, we're glad to see pass away. And the things that are becoming eternal in us are becoming our reality. We're no longer looking at the things of this world to please us. We're not looking to be entertained by all of the antics of our society. This is about with God first, and with each other in a relationship that is eternal. This is our reality today. The world doesn't see this. How can they? They don't have the Spirit of the Living God abiding in them to experience it. But we have this. This is the kingdom that's beginning in the earth.
We put on the mind of Christ. We live in a time now, that you don't have to wait anymore. You don't have to spend time in grade to be promoted. You're there. When we know that we're there, we can function without the carnal mind being involved. As we do that, the carnal mind has a tendency to deteriorate through lack of use. It's how we move in the spirit that is so wonderful. See, we're a family flowing in the Spirit realm, flowing to one another. We're living in the place where we are surrounded, those fellow heirs to the throne.
It is time for us to start functioning in areas that we are not comfortable in. We should have the faith. We should have the aggressiveness to move beyond functioning the way that we're comfortable with. What does that mean? Does that mean taking one of the seven realms and going after it with all of your heart, and expecting things? It is time to begin to think above what we think is our pay grade, which means there are limitations of what we think we can do, and create, and produce, and resolve, get beyond just trying to do the very best I can, where I am, and get out there, in a military term, get out on point, and start making things happen.
When we pray, and ask God for something, we see it happen. So we can believe for anything that God shows us to pray for, and believe for. Is there anything too big for God? Is there anything He can't do? He lives within us, and He wants us to begin to function as the sons that we have become. It is time to release the spirit within us to do the exploits. “Greater things than these will you do because I go to the Father.”
The time has come for us to stop working away at being better, at what we're comfortable with. And start looking at the things because we're praying for the kingdom to come on earth kingdom comes we don't get to sit and watch tv and watch God make everything perfect. He is going to come and put us to work. We might as well start practicing it.
Was it Joshua that said stand still, sun. I've got to finish this now. I'm sure he didn't get down and pray just said Right now!
We declare it's time to engage in the realities of who we are as sons. We are sons of God. Yes, we were born, we were babes, we became young men. Now we have entered into the last phase of this maturity level.
The Lordship of Jesus Christ in this earth. He is the one who is ruling and reigning over all creation. It's His Lordship to a people who were called to walk it out. You find the Lordship of Jesus Christ at the very foundation of what we believe. We're establishing His Lordship by what we do, how we relate, how we answer the call of prayer. All things will be reconciled under Jesus Christ as Lord, and then He gives it back to the Father. You are being prepared for that visitation through our Lord Jesus Christ for that visitation to the Father. His promises are being fulfilled as we speak.
