not gonna get any clients and

your business is going to fail.

overwhelming, and sometimes a real pain

especially after a cup of coffee.

30

:

So grab your favorite beverage,

a pen, and some paper, and get

31

:

ready to unleash your inner CEO.

32

:

Let's do this.

33

:

So what's the secret

sauce to getting clients?

34

:

What's my secret ingredient?

35

:

, in all reality, there isn't one.

36

:

You wanna know how to attract clients.

37

:

, it's all in you.

38

:

It's already in you.

39

:

You can get clients.

40

:

You don't have to listen to what

other people are telling you to get.

41

:

Clients.

42

:

Clients come to you because they know

who you are, what you can deliver.

43

:

Now, of course, clients are not

gonna come to you right away from a

44

:

content that you post in Facebook.

45

:

No.

46

:

You can post two posts in Facebook a week.

47

:

They still don't know you, who you are.

48

:

They're reading the words, and that's

actually a good thing in all reality.

49

:

But when it comes to getting clients,

although they want the results,

50

:

they're also attracted to your

personality to who you are as a person.

51

:

That is the secret ingredient.

52

:

The secret ingredient is

you no one else but you.

53

:

No one else can tell you how you

can coach your clients, but you, all

54

:

they can do is give you some tips and

some insight on how to get clients.

55

:

It's up to you on how you want to get your

clients being a business strategy coach

56

:

for new coaches, I would never tell a

client, okay, you have to do it this way,

57

:

otherwise your business is gonna fail.

58

:

Heck, No, you have to do what fits

you, what's comfortable for you,

59

:

because if you're not happy on how

you present your business and you,

60

:

you are not gonna get clients.

61

:

And in all reality, it's the truth.

62

:

If I was to walk around being, oh, I need

clients, and get on calls with people and

63

:

they say, well, you need to work with me

because I can do this, and if you don't

64

:

do this, your business is gonna fail.

65

:

Imagine if I told my clients that, oh

my God, they would run to the hills.

66

:

Imagine if I got on a call with a

coach that I wanted to work with,

67

:

and he told me that I would be

pissed and I'd be like, okay, you're

68

:

not the right coach for me being.

69

:

and new coach and actually hiring a coach.

70

:

You want to hire somebody who's

going to actually help you, but

71

:

that's another total episode.

72

:

Then we're going to later.

73

:

Right now it's about you

getting clients, right?

74

:

Okay.

75

:

The secret sauce.

76

:

Forgetting clients, like I said, is you,

you figure out how you want to attract

77

:

them because I know you are watching

different webinars and the freebees.

78

:

I know you have all that.

79

:

Trust me, I had a folder full of all the

things that I wanted to be as a coach, but

80

:

I was following everybody else's strategy.

81

:

I didn't have one of my own until I came

up with a strategy that I felt good in.

82

:

Because if I didn't feel

good in my business, I knew I

83

:

wasn't gonna get any clients.

84

:

So let's break it down a little bit.

85

:

You're a new coach, you're brand

new to the industry, and you

86

:

don't have clients yet, okay?

87

:

Post on social media,

get the post out there.

88

:

But let me share something

a little bit with you.

89

:

Bear with me for a second.

90

:

The post you create.

91

:

Do a little behind the

scenes on who you are.

92

:

Yes, you have your results

on what your programs can do,

93

:

but talk about who you are.

94

:

Tell your story.

95

:

Tell how you started, tell

how you did this and the

96

:

results you got by doing that.

97

:

because people listen to stories,

things behind the scenes.

98

:

I can come out and give you all the

results in the world, but my clients wanna

99

:

know, Hey, have you been in my shoes?

100

:

Do you know what I feel?

101

:

That is what I get when I talk to

clients, when I get on calls with

102

:

potential clients as well, because

I want them to get to know me.

103

:

when you are out there looking for that

first client, how are you attracting them?

104

:

How are you getting them in on that call?

105

:

And that's something we're gonna go

into right after this brief intermission

106

:

where I can get me another cup of coffee.

107

:

Be right back.

108

:

Are you feeling drained from

testing various marketing strategies

109

:

with little to show for it?

110

:

I've been there.

111

:

At the start of my online journey, I

pinned my hopes on sharing posts across

112

:

Facebook groups to flood my inbox with

orders and fill my client calendar.

113

:

But reality hit hard when those

tactics failed to deliver.

114

:

Rather than giving up,

I revisited my approach.

115

:

On my strategy and experienced a

complete turnaround in my business.

116

:

Now I'm so excited to share the insights

I've gained in no money, no problem.

117

:

It's one of my favorite PDFs packed

with 10 marketing tips, tailored for

118

:

coaches and creatives to amplify sales

all while being mindful of your budget.

119

:

Don't let this opportunity

slip through your fingers.

120

:

Snag your free copy on my website.

121

:

That's spelled T A L E N A B A

C O N dot com and kickstart your

122

:

journey to marketing success.

123

:

Now let's get back to the show.

124

:

Welcome back.

125

:

Okay, so the secret sauce to getting

clients is, Drum wall, please.

126

:

You . Okay.

127

:

I think I've had too much coffee.

128

:

, the secret is you clients work with

coaches that they feel comfortable

129

:

with, that they have a connection,

and if they don't feel comfortable,

130

:

they're not gonna work with you.

131

:

You can post in groups, which

is fine, but share a little bit

132

:

behind the scenes of you, your.

133

:

How you got into the business or how

you've tried this before, and then

134

:

when you tried this new strategy,

which you now have incorporated

135

:

into your business, it works.

136

:

You can even show some testimonials.

137

:

But what if you don't have testimonials?

138

:

Hmm.

139

:

That's gonna be another episode too,

140

:

But what I'm saying is let them

get to know you, who you are.

141

:

When I hired my coach, I

love her to pieces I watched.

142

:

. I listened to things she had

to say when she did her lives.

143

:

When she did some of her

freebies, I joined in.

144

:

I wanted to get to know who she was

as a person and how she represented

145

:

her business because I wanted to make

sure she was the right fit for me.

146

:

So put yourself in the client's shoes.

147

:

Let's say you're not a coach,

now, you're a client and you're

148

:

looking for that perfect coach.

149

:

Okay?

150

:

Has a client.

151

:

. I sit back and I say, I want a

coach to understand what I'm doing.

152

:

I want a coach to get me.

153

:

I want a coach to be patient, not push me.

154

:

I, I wanna be pushed a little bit, but

not to the point that I'm sitting there

155

:

crying cuz I can't do it type thing.

156

:

I want a coach who's not gonna

charge me a whole lot of money

157

:

and don't give no results.

158

:

Think of yourself as the client and

think of all the things a client would

159

:

be thinking and then answer the questions

like, okay, the client is thinking this,

160

:

so the client thinks that I can't give.

161

:

Boom.

162

:

But I can, here's all my results.

163

:

You have to think of all the

things they're going to say

164

:

for not working with you.

165

:

Like I don't have the money.

166

:

Okay.

167

:

I get that.

168

:

The client says I don't have

the money payment plans.

169

:

That covers that.

170

:

Another objection would be I

have to talk to my husband.

171

:

Totally understand.

172

:

Explain some of the benefits.

173

:

If you like, when you put the husband

on the phone, I can talk with him or.

174

:

. Sure, go ahead.

175

:

I'll let you get back and I'll get back

to you, and so we'll set up another

176

:

time within a week and set up that

time while you have them on the phone.

177

:

. Don't wait and say, Hey, okay,

I talk to your husband again.

178

:

Get back to me.

179

:

No, why?

180

:

They were on the phone.

181

:

Say, okay, I totally understand that.

182

:

You know, it comes to

family, family comes first.

183

:

If you want, I can talk to your husband,

but if not, I'm gonna put you down for two

184

:

weeks from now on this date at this time.

185

:

How does that sound?

186

:

And go from there.

187

:

That way you have a follow up time.

188

:

If you get them off the phone before

getting that follow up time built in,

189

:

they're not gonna remember two weeks,

cuz do you remember anything from

190

:

two weeks from now or two weeks ago?

191

:

So do it that way.

192

:

Now, if they say, well no, no, I don't

wanna set up another car right now.

193

:

Okay.

194

:

Now that is a little tricky.

195

:

You can still say, Hey,

I totally understand.

196

:

I'll still follow up with you and

send out an email, so on and so forth.

197

:

You can do it that way.

198

:

When it comes to getting clients,

let them know who you are as a

199

:

person so they can feel comfortable.

200

:

I'm never gonna get on a call

with a potential client and

201

:

say, okay, here's my results.

202

:

This is what I can do for you, and that's.

203

:

and then say, okay, here's how

much it's gonna cost, and they

204

:

try to get you to buy something.

205

:

I'm not that type of coach, and

there's some coaches that do do

206

:

it, and it probably works for them.

207

:

Kudos.

208

:

But you as a new coach, you might

wanna do things differently.

209

:

It depends on you.

210

:

Like I said, being a coach depends

on you and how you feel about your

211

:

business and how you wanna be portrayed

or represented to get clients.

212

:

For example, I would have a potential

client who comes in and she's in my dms.

213

:

She's struggling or has a challenge

with content I would ask her, share

214

:

a bit of your content with me and

what you have on a certain post that

215

:

you've created, and then she would

share with me, and then I would say,

216

:

what if we tweak it a little bit?

217

:

What if we add a little bit

of this, a little bit of that?

218

:

What do you think?

219

:

How do you feel?

220

:

That's one thing you ask any potential

person if you're on a call with them or

221

:

if you're dm, how do you feel about this?

222

:

Because it's how they

feel is what matters.

223

:

because you're trying to help them.

224

:

It's not about how you feel as a

coach, it's how they feel as a client.

225

:

And then if they say, oh,

that sounds pretty good.

226

:

I've given them a little

bit of information.

227

:

And then from there I can say,

well, listen, if you want to get

228

:

on a call with me, here's my time.

229

:

We can talk a little bit more about

content creation and, and how I can

230

:

help you a little bit more with this.

231

:

Okay.

232

:

She could say yes or she

could say no, and that's fine.

233

:

. If she says no, if you have a group,

invite her to your Facebook group, because

234

:

in your Facebook group, you can nurture

them a little bit more, get on a few

235

:

of your freebies that you do offer any

type of challenge, and she gets to know

236

:

a little bit about you has a person,

because that's what matters more you, how

237

:

you perceive yourself, how you get your.

238

:

out there is what matters most, not

what all the other coaches are doing.

239

:

Every other coach has all their

kind of different ways of doing

240

:

things, which works for them.

241

:

You need to create a strategy

that works for you and makes

242

:

you happy in your business.

243

:

And one way of doing that

is by being who you are.

244

:

I have clients that worked with me

in the past that now we're friends.

245

:

I don't mind having clients as friends

cause they are the best in the world.

246

:

They can DM me and ask them a.

247

:

and I'll give an answer.

248

:

You wanna know why?

249

:

Because whenever I come up with something

else, they'll be happy to join in because

250

:

they already know the results I give them.

251

:

So they're already there.

252

:

They're already in my Facebook group.

253

:

They're already following my business

page, my personal page, because

254

:

they know me and we are friends.

255

:

I don't mind that.

256

:

And friendship is gold.

257

:

And trust me, my coach, the

coach, a Hatchie is amazing.

258

:

and I still consider my coach, even

though she's not coaching me anymore.

259

:

Every new coach has a coach.

260

:

If they tell you they don't, nah.

261

:

Every coach out there has had a coach who

coached them and the cycle goes on and on.

262

:

But that's a totally different episode.

263

:

So the secret ingredient, again, to get

in clients, you get out there, show a

264

:

little bit behind the scenes of who you.

265

:

So they feel comfortable with you.

266

:

So they say, Hey, I like

how she does things.

267

:

I like her personality.

268

:

I wanna know a little bit more about her.

269

:

I wanna follow her page.

270

:

It doesn't hurt to do that because

I feel, and I don't know how you

271

:

feel, . I want my clients to be

comfortable when they work with me.

272

:

I want my clients to trust me because

like I say, if you don't have trust in

273

:

your clients and they're not gonna work

with you, again, if they don't like who

274

:

you are and the portray to who you are

as a coach, they're not the right client.

275

:

Don't come out there chasing potential

clients that are not a good fit for you.

276

:

You know who's a good fit?

277

:

You can tell by people who comment

on some of your, your posts and

278

:

groups, even on other groups,

even your personal Facebook group.

279

:

You can tell who's your potential client,

but don't force them to be a client.

280

:

Let them come at their own pace.

281

:

because that's what

makes it all the better.

282

:

Hey there lovely queens.

288

:

podcast family is truly special.

289

wisdom I want to share.
