Shownotes

Today, the European Union is facing many challenges, probably more than ever before.

Inevitable changes are required to tackle the pandemic, the climate crisis, and to remain competitive in a world of turmoil. The EU has launched a new Conference on the Future of Europe, designed to ask the citizens what they want and what they expect from the EU.

To keep up with the conference, the EPP Group has launched a new podcast series: 'What's next for the EU?' in which our moderator, Georgina Wright, Head of the EU Programme in the Paris-based think-tank Institute Montaigne, will talk about what Europe should look like in the future, with some prominent guests.

In the first episode, she was joined by Alain Lamassoure, a French politician, and former Member of the European Parliament, and Carlo Invernizzi-Accetti, Assistant Professor at the City University of New York.
