Shownotes

Motherhood can be consuming and requires almost 110% of you. How can mothers balance their own dreams and growth and their family's needs?

Join our host, Delia Ng, who chats with Tam Wai Jia, a humanitarian doctor, founder of Kitesong Global, and mother of two daughters, aged 4 and 6 respectively.

Speaking from her personal journey, Wai Jia shares about her challenges as a mum, reminds us of how our unique families should never be reason for comparison to another, and understanding that the ebb and flow of motherhood does eventually reap rewards in due time.

"It is in Winter that tree roots are driven deeper into the ground and the tree itself is strengthened. During Spring, when the rains come, these newly deeply set roots can absorb the water and grow again. Had it not gone through Winter, these roots would never have been driven so deeply."
