Welcome to Freedom Through Faith and the Red Letter Crusade where the words of Jesus take center stage.
Speaker A:Join us as we bring healing, unity and clarity to your walk with God by focusing on one thing.
Speaker A:What did Jesus say?
Speaker A:Now let's join Pastor Robert Thibodeau for the Red Letter Crusade.
Speaker A:Because when it comes to understanding the entire Bible, his words matter.
Speaker B:Hello everyone everywhere.
Speaker B:Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.
Speaker B:Welcome to Freedom Through Faith and the Red Letter Crusade.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Had a little technical issues that had to get worked out, but praise God, we are live going worldwide, streaming this throughout the world.
Speaker B:That's how important the word of God is.
Speaker B:Amen and praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Let's go Lord.
Speaker B:With a word of prayer, we will jump straight into today's Bible study.
Speaker B:Father, in Jesus name we thank you and praise you for all that you're about to do, all that you have done.
Speaker B:And Father, we thank you for the technology you made available.
Speaker B:Even though it gives us a fit sometimes, we know that you're still the one who created it to be used for your kingdom.
Speaker B:And it's the devil that gets into the details.
Speaker B:But we bind him in Jesus name, we thank you and praise you that you have your way.
Speaker B:In this broadcast, in Jesus mighty name we pray.
Speaker B:Amen and Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:You know, when I was a kid, my grandfather had a rule.
Speaker B:It was a good rule too.
Speaker B:He said, it still echoes in my spirit today.
Speaker B:He said, tell the truth, no matter what it cost you.
Speaker B:Alright.
Speaker B:And you know, one summer, well, let's just say I broke that rule, alright?
Speaker B:I was 10 or 11.
Speaker B:My friend and I were playing baseball in the field next to where he parked his travel trailer, right?
Speaker B:And all afternoon I could not shake a knot in my stomach because I had hit a foul ball.
Speaker B:It didn't break the window, it landed like on the frame.
Speaker B:But it cracked the window.
Speaker B:And I didn't say anything.
Speaker B:But all afternoon I just had that not in my stomach.
Speaker B:And at dinner time, I couldn't eat a bite.
Speaker B:Finally, I confessed to my grandpa.
Speaker B:He looked at me for a long moment, then just smiled and said, I already knew it because I was just waiting to see if you'd tell the truth.
Speaker B:Then he did something that I'll never forget.
Speaker B:He reached it.
Speaker B:I remember I'm 10, 11 years old.
Speaker B:He reached into his pocket, pulled out a folded ten dollar bill and said, I'm proud of you.
Speaker B:Because truth always costs something.
Speaker B:But always remember, telling the truth is worth more than anything.
Speaker B:And folks, that lesson stuck.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Truth might cost you comfort Or a reputation or even control.
Speaker B:But it always pays in freedom and peace and trouble.
Speaker B:Trust.
Speaker B:As a cop, I learned early on telling the truth is always the best path to follow, even if it might cost you an embarrassment or whatever.
Speaker B:But if you lie, it will always, always cost you more.
Speaker B:Because as a cop, integrity is the number one thing for a police officer.
Speaker B:If our department ever caught anyone in a lie, even something minor, it could end up costing the officer their job.
Speaker B:I mean, they would not hesitate in firing someone if an officer was caught in a lie, whether in a police report or on their time cards, or even if they were observed and reported doing something, like reading their phone while driving and then denying it when asked.
Speaker B:I seen it happen, folks, to more than one person during my career.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:So what I want, the point I'm trying to make is God cannot lie.
Speaker B:The Bible says very plainly God is not a man that he should lie.
Speaker B: Numbers: Speaker B:That's not just a description, it's a declaration of his very nature.
Speaker B:Truth is not something God does.
Speaker B:It's who he is.
Speaker B:Every word he speaks carries the same weight as his character.
Speaker B:Unchangeable, flawless, eternal.
Speaker B:Now, here's the bridge.
Speaker B:Jesus is God in the flesh, right?
Speaker B:He said, I am the way.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:The truth?
Speaker B:The life.
Speaker B:If God can't lie, and Jesus is God, then Jesus can't lie.
Speaker B:That means every red letter word, every promise, every command, every assurance is a rock solid truth.
Speaker B:So when Jesus says give, it'll be given unto you, or all things are possible to him that believes, you don't have to hope they're true.
Speaker B:You can know they're true.
Speaker B:Because if Jesus said it, it must be true.
Speaker B:And that's the foundation of faith.
Speaker B:That's the truth that never changes, Ever.
Speaker B:You can bet your eternity on it.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:If Jesus said it, it must be truth.
Speaker B:So when God puts you in an uncomfortable position, he's setting you up for something.
Speaker B:Because there's a truth here.
Speaker B:Every believer learns sooner or later.
Speaker B:God will often position you for prosperity by placing you in places that make you feel uncomfortable.
Speaker B:Or maybe having you do things that make you feel uncomfortable.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Why would he do that?
Speaker B:Because when God calls, he rarely calls you to stay put.
Speaker B:He calls you to step out.
Speaker B:Because prosperity doesn't happen in comfort zones.
Speaker B:It only happens in obedience zones.
Speaker B:Now, I want to take you back to a scene on the Sea of Galilee.
Speaker B:We're going to look over here.
Speaker B:Matthew, chapter 14.
Speaker B:You know the story where Jesus is walking on the water, right in the Sea of Galilee.
Speaker B:The wind's howling.
Speaker B:The waves are crashing.
Speaker B:The disciples are terrified.
Speaker B:And in the middle of all that chaos, they see Jesus walking on the water.
Speaker B:Most of them are thinking, what is this?
Speaker B:A ghost?
Speaker B:This can't be real.
Speaker B:But then they realize it's Jesus.
Speaker B:He says, don't worry about it.
Speaker B:It's me.
Speaker B:One man.
Speaker B:Good old Peter.
Speaker B:I love Peter.
Speaker B:So often he speaks without thinking.
Speaker B:I've been known to do that a few times myself.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Anyway, Peter calls out, lord, if it's really you, bid me to come to you on the water.
Speaker B:You can read that in Matthew 14, verse 28.
Speaker B:Now, what's Jesus supposed to say?
Speaker B:He just says one word, come.
Speaker B:That one word, come wasn't just an invitation.
Speaker B:It was authorization, right?
Speaker B:I mean, yeah.
Speaker B:What was Jesus supposed to say?
Speaker B:Oh, Peter, your faith isn't good enough to walk on water like me.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:What else are you going to say?
Speaker B:Peter is not really me.
Speaker B:He couldn't say that either.
Speaker B:Peter said, if it's you, tell me to come to you on the water.
Speaker B:Come now.
Speaker B:Peter did not walk on water because of his faith alone.
Speaker B:He walked on water because Jesus said he could.
Speaker B:Write that down.
Speaker B:That's a revelation for someone right there.
Speaker B:The reason Peter could walk on water was not because he had faith to walk on water.
Speaker B:He had faith in Jesus.
Speaker B:Jesus said, come now, Peter's in a pickle.
Speaker B:Have he laughed and said, ha.
Speaker B:Good one, Jesus.
Speaker B:Everybody knows I can't walk on water.
Speaker B:You might be able to, but not me.
Speaker B:Then we wouldn't be talking about Peter today, would we?
Speaker B:But Peter believed Jesus.
Speaker B:So he stood up, started to climb over the side of the boat.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:That's the power of the red letters, folks.
Speaker B:When Jesus speaks, his words carry the authority to make impossible things possible.
Speaker B:And here's the part we sometimes skip over.
Speaker B:Before Peter stepped out of the boat, don't you know?
Speaker B:The other disciples were already trying to start to talk him out of it.
Speaker B:They probably shout, peter, get back in this boat.
Speaker B:You can't walk on water, boy.
Speaker B:You'll drown.
Speaker B:And they were right.
Speaker B:The natural.
Speaker B:Peter wasn't stepping out on the water in the natural.
Speaker B:He was stepping out on the Word.
Speaker B:The Word.
Speaker B:One word.
Speaker B:Come.
Speaker B:See, that's what happens when you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker B:He'll often nudge you towards something that doesn't make any sense at all in the natural.
Speaker B:Something that looks risky, something that seems too good to be true.
Speaker B:And the people around you, sometimes even good godly people, will try to talk you out.
Speaker B:Of it.
Speaker B:They'll say, are you sure that's from God?
Speaker B:You know, you might lose it all, you might get hurt.
Speaker B:You don't have the money for that kind of thing.
Speaker B:But when you've heard Jesus say, come, you don't need a committee to confirm your calling.
Speaker B:You don't need agreement when you've already got alignment.
Speaker B:Peter didn't need everyone else's approval.
Speaker B:He just needed one word from Jesus.
Speaker B:And it's the same way with you and me.
Speaker B:When God gives you an opportunity, let's say that looks too good to be true.
Speaker B:It might just be because it's too divine to be understood by others, but not you.
Speaker B:Matter of fact, my partner, Terry Christian, has a saying.
Speaker B:If it sounds to be good to be true, God must be in it.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:God's invitations rarely, rarely fit human logic.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Well, God's not limited by what we can calculate, is he?
Speaker B:He's guided by what he's already completed.
Speaker B:He's guided by what's best for us, even if we can't see it yet.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Yet when Jesus said come, he wasn't testing Peter's swimming ability.
Speaker B:He was revealing a spiritual law.
Speaker B:When I speak, my words carry the power to perform what I say.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Write that one down.
Speaker B:That's why when the Holy Spirit prompts you to step into something new, a business idea, a ministry project, a relationship, a giving opportunity, your natural mind will resist.
Speaker B:Your mind's telling you, this doesn't make sense, or that's too much, or that's not for me.
Speaker B:What if it doesn't work?
Speaker B:What if, what if?
Speaker B:What if?
Speaker B:But obedience isn't about comfort.
Speaker B:It's about.
Speaker B:About confidence in who gave you the command in the first place and who gave you the opportunity that he's showing you and revealing to you.
Speaker B:The Holy Spirit talking to your Spirit.
Speaker B:That is who you should put your confidence in, even when your own spirit's questioning what you just heard.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:I mean, think about it.
Speaker B:If Jesus words carry authority over wind and waves, they can carry authority over your finances, your health, and your opportunities too.
Speaker B:In fact, Jesus words carry authority over your entire future.
Speaker B:If you let them.
Speaker B:That's usually the sticking point.
Speaker B:You won't let them.
Speaker B:We start to elevate our own thoughts above his words, don't we?
Speaker B:Hear me give.
Speaker B:We think, well, I can't afford to right now.
Speaker B:We hear seek and we think, I don't want to.
Speaker B:We hear trust.
Speaker B:We think, eh, I don't know if I can.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Why do we do that?
Speaker B:Because man has cheated us too many times in the past.
Speaker B:If your retirement fund was decimated in the pandemic or the current economic crisis, you might be thinking, I can't afford to give right now.
Speaker B:But in reality, Jesus is trying to get something to you to take care of you now and in the future.
Speaker B:So when he says give, you can trust his words, and it shall be given to you again.
Speaker B:It will work.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:When he says seek, you can trust it.
Speaker B:You shall find.
Speaker B:When he says launch out into the deep, you can trust there's a harvest waiting for you in the deep.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Glory to God.
Speaker B:Are you hearing me?
Speaker B:Because if Jesus said, must be true now, sometimes following that word means walking straight into your discomfort zone.
Speaker B:Peter didn't know how that water was going to be able to hold him up.
Speaker B:He didn't know how long that water would hold once he was standing on it.
Speaker B:He didn't know if his faith would falter.
Speaker B:But what did he do?
Speaker B:He got out of the boat anyway.
Speaker B:He probably thought everyone would have a good laugh when he went under.
Speaker B:That didn't happen, did it?
Speaker B:And it'll be the same way when you obey.
Speaker B:An opportunity Jesus puts in front of you.
Speaker B:Others around you will think you're nuts.
Speaker B:But your faith is not in your nutty friends or family.
Speaker B:It should be anchored in Jesus.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:And that's where prosperity begins.
Speaker B:Not when you feel ready, but when you obey, regardless of how you feel.
Speaker B:You see, God isn't looking for your readiness.
Speaker B:He's looking for your response.
Speaker B:He'll position you to prosper, but he won't push you to obey.
Speaker B:You're the one who has to take that first step.
Speaker B:When Peter took that first step and realized he was doing what he thought was impossible, he took the next step willingly and walk all the way to Jesus and Amen.
Speaker B:Listen.
Speaker B:It's easy to believe for blessings in church.
Speaker B:When the music's good, the crowd's friendly, your faith feels strong.
Speaker B:It's in the middle of the storm when the boat's rocking that your real trust is tested.
Speaker B:Peter stepped out in the middle of the storm.
Speaker B:And for a moment, he walked where no man had ever walked before.
Speaker B:That's what happens when you follow the voice of Jesus instead of the voices of.
Speaker B:Of everyone around you.
Speaker B:Yes, the others were safe in the boat, but they never knew what it felt like, literally, to stand on the Word, did they?
Speaker B:Now, here's where this ties into what we're doing with the what did Jesus say?
Speaker B:Book project.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Every page of this book is a come moment.
Speaker B:Every red letter word is a call to step out.
Speaker B:We're inviting the body of Christ to leave the comfort of commentary.
Speaker B:Return to the pure, unfiltered words of Jesus, because his words are still the only ones that'll hold you up when that storm hits.
Speaker B:This project is about printing another devotional.
Speaker B:It's about awakening a generation to the voice that still says come.
Speaker B:Maybe, just maybe, God is positioning you right now to be part of it.
Speaker B:Not because it's comfortable, but because it's kingdom.
Speaker B:So if you feel that stirring in your spirit, the one that says this might.
Speaker B:I don't know, it sounds too good to be true, don't ignore it.
Speaker B:That might just be your invitation to step out of the boat.
Speaker B:Because remember, it may look risky, but it's really a revelation.
Speaker B:It may feel uncertain, but it's actually in alignment.
Speaker B:It may not make sense to everyone else, but it makes faith to you.
Speaker B:You don't have to understand the whole journey to take the first step.
Speaker B:You just have to know who said come, and if Jesus said it, what?
Speaker B:It must be true.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Now, have you ever noticed how God's opportunities rarely come with comfort labels attached?
Speaker B:Sometimes the very thing that makes your spirit leap will make your mind scream.
Speaker B:This sounds too good to be true.
Speaker B:But listen, that's usually the first clue that it's God.
Speaker B:Well, when the Lord gives you an idea that stirs your heart, opens your imagination, and challenges your logic all at once, that's not coincidence, folks.
Speaker B:That's called divine alignment.
Speaker B:And in those moments that faith gets stretched, and make no mistake, faith that never gets stretched will never grow strong.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Matter of fact, you have to take what I like calling the deep water test.
Speaker B:Let's look at Peter again.
Speaker B:This time you turn over to Luke chapter five.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:He just spent the entire night fishing.
Speaker B:Let's turn over there.
Speaker B:Luke chapter five.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Come on.
Speaker B:Pages are stuck.
Speaker B:There we go.
Speaker B:Luke chapter five.
Speaker B:He spent the whole night fishing and caught nothing.
Speaker B:No catch, no results.
Speaker B:Remember, he's a businessman.
Speaker B:That means no profit.
Speaker B:Then Jesus shows up, the carpenter steps into the fisherman's boat, preaches, then gives him a fishing tip.
Speaker B:Launch out into the beat.
Speaker B:Let down your nets for a drought or a huge catch.
Speaker B:That's verse four.
Speaker B:Now, from a fisherman's standpoint, that made absolutely zero sense.
Speaker B:The fish weren't there all night long anyway.
Speaker B:Daylight was not the time to throw nets for fishing because the fish would see it and dodge the nets.
Speaker B:And on Top of that, they just spent hours cleaning all the nets.
Speaker B:They were tired and they were ready to go home because they had to come back in a few more hours and start all over again.
Speaker B:But Peter said in verse five, nevertheless, at your word, preacher, I'll let down the net.
Speaker B:That right there, that one act of obedience unlocked a supernatural overflow.
Speaker B:But I want you to see something.
Speaker B:Jesus said, let down the nets, the nets you just cleaned and put away launch out into the deep.
Speaker B:Let down your nets for a huge catch.
Speaker B:Jesus said, ain't no fish here, preacher.
Speaker B:We've been fishing all night.
Speaker B:Caught zip.
Speaker B:But.
Speaker B:And as mine, you can just picture this.
Speaker B:But just to teach you something, I let down the net.
Speaker B:What net?
Speaker B:He said, the net.
Speaker B:He didn't let down the net.
Speaker B:He let down the net.
Speaker B:That's that old rotted net that's stuck up underneath the seat somewhere that they don't have to clean.
Speaker B:That's how old it is.
Speaker B:So he takes that net, throws it over, and next thing you know, there's so much fish in that net, the net starting to break.
Speaker B:So he calls for his partners to come over.
Speaker B:And they come over and they're trying to pull all these fish into shore.
Speaker B:The boats are beginning to sink.
Speaker B:The same men who caught nothing all night were suddenly shouting for help to handle a huge blessing, all because Peter obeyed when it didn't make sense that one act of obedience produced a harvest they did not expect.
Speaker B:You might be one act away from your overflow.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:It's not logic is leading.
Speaker B:We've all been there.
Speaker B:That moment when God nudges you towards something that doesn't fit your plan.
Speaker B:It could be given a gift that feels too big or starting a project that feels too risky or forgiving someone who really doesn't deserve it.
Speaker B:And your first reaction, that can't be God, sounds too good to be true sometimes.
Speaker B:The reason it sounds too good is because you've never been there before.
Speaker B:If it sounds like something you've never tried, it's because Jesus is opening a door you've never had to walk through before.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:It takes faith, not formulas, to step through that door.
Speaker B:You can't rely on what your eyes see or what your experience says.
Speaker B:You have to rely on what Jesus said.
Speaker B:That's why Peter didn't argue this time.
Speaker B:He didn't say, but, Lord, I'm a professional fisherman.
Speaker B:He said, nevertheless, at your word.
Speaker B:In other words, doesn't make any sense to my mind, but it makes perfect sense to my spirit.
Speaker B:That's the Faith God rewards.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Because faith sounds different than fear.
Speaker B:I mean, you'll always have people trying to talk you out of obeying God.
Speaker B:They'll say, well, that's not wise, or that's too risky.
Speaker B:Well, that's not realistic.
Speaker B:Maybe it is, but human standards.
Speaker B:But when God is the one leading, you're not measuring risk, you're measuring revelation.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:The enemy wants you to calculate.
Speaker B:The Spirit wants you to cooperate.
Speaker B:And when you do, things start happening that defy explanation.
Speaker B:Because kingdom mathematics does not work like earthly mathematics.
Speaker B:One word of obedience can outweigh a lifetime of effort.
Speaker B:Peter spent all night trying and got nothing.
Speaker B:One yes, one yes to Jesus produced more than their nets could hold.
Speaker B:The power of yes to Jesus is awesome.
Speaker B:Sometimes the biggest blessings begin with the smallest.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:Yes, Lord, I'll try again.
Speaker B:Yes, Lord, I'll give.
Speaker B:Even though I don't feel like I have enough.
Speaker B:Yes, Lord, I'll go where you send me the that yes is the sound of surrender.
Speaker B:And it's also the sound of prosperity beginning.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Because God doesn't bless fear.
Speaker B:He blesses faith.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:This is exactly what we're doing through the what did Jesus say?
Speaker B:Book project.
Speaker B:The whole mission might look too good to be true from a natural point of view.
Speaker B:I mean, think about it.
Speaker B:A book that is 100% red letter words of Jesus spreading around the world, transforming lives, uniting the body of Christ, healing divisions.
Speaker B:That's not just another ministry dream.
Speaker B:That is a divine direction.
Speaker B:We could have said, well, it's too big, too ambitious, too expensive.
Speaker B:But the Holy Spirit said, launch out into the deep.
Speaker B:And just like Peter, we're letting down our nets in faith, trusting that what Jesus said will produce the harvest he promised.
Speaker B:Because when you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, he will never lead you away from the blessing.
Speaker B:He'll always lead you through your obedience into the blessing.
Speaker B:And folks, that's how divine prosperity works.
Speaker B:It doesn't come from chasing comfort.
Speaker B:It comes from trusting Christ.
Speaker B:So don't be afraid.
Speaker B:When God gives you an idea that feels bigger than your resources or beyond your reach, that's not a sign to pull back.
Speaker B:It's a sign to start pressing forward.
Speaker B:Because the deeper the water, the greater to catch.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:So remember this.
Speaker B:If the opportunity feels impossible, it's probably divine.
Speaker B:If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably too God to be ordinary.
Speaker B:You don't need to understand how it will happen.
Speaker B:You just need to believe.
Speaker B:Who said it would happen?
Speaker B:Because the same Jesus who said Launch out into the deep.
Speaker B:Also said, all things are possible to him who believes Mark 9:23.
Speaker B:That means if he said must be true.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:You need to start acting like a farmer and just trust the law of increase.
Speaker B:I mean, you can't read the Gospels, folks, without realizing something here.
Speaker B:Jesus loved talking about farms.
Speaker B:He talked about sowers.
Speaker B:He talked about fields.
Speaker B:He talked about seeds and harvests and rain and reaping.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Because the kingdom of God operates by the exact same principle every farmer lives by.
Speaker B:You only reap what you sow.
Speaker B:It's not a cute proverb.
Speaker B:It is a spiritual law.
Speaker B:There's three unbreakable parts of prosperity.
Speaker B:Jesus said, the kingdom of God is if a man should cast sin seed into the ground, should sleep and rise night and day.
Speaker B:The seed springs up and grows.
Speaker B:He doesn't know how.
Speaker B:You read all about that over in Mark, chapter four.
Speaker B:That's one of my favorite chapters.
Speaker B:But that verse.
Speaker B:That verse describes the mystery and the simplicity of prosperity all in one setting.
Speaker B:It all comes down to three things.
Speaker B:Now write these down so you can refer to them later.
Speaker B:Write them down.
Speaker B:First is the opportunity, the chance to act in obedience when God opens a door.
Speaker B:Next is a seed sown in obedience.
Speaker B:Your faith responds.
Speaker B:Get something planted in trust, not fear.
Speaker B:And then time, patience to let God do the part you can't do to change or remove.
Speaker B:If you change or remove any one of those three things, the entire process breaks down.
Speaker B:But a seed never sown will never grow.
Speaker B:Hmm.
Speaker B:A seed sown in doubt won't survive.
Speaker B:And a seed that's yanked up too soon never matures.
Speaker B:The farmer does not rush the soil.
Speaker B:He doesn't wake up the morning after sowing all that field and start digging around to see if anything's taken root yet.
Speaker B:No, he trusts the law that God himself designed.
Speaker B:You and I are called to do the same thing.
Speaker B:We need to use the farmer's kind of faith.
Speaker B:When you sow in faith, whether it's money or time or love or forgiveness or service, you're saying, God, I just trust your word more than I trust my own feelings.
Speaker B:And that's when true faith, that's what it looks like.
Speaker B:Obedience that endures the waiting season.
Speaker B:See, the farmer knows there is an invisible process at work beneath the surface that he can't see.
Speaker B:Roots are forming before fruit is visible.
Speaker B:Growth happens in silence long before the harvest happens in sight.
Speaker B:And it's the same way in your life.
Speaker B:God's working even when you can't see it.
Speaker B:He's Multiplying what you've planted.
Speaker B:He's aligning your harvest with your obedience.
Speaker B:So don't despise the delays.
Speaker B:You need to celebrate it because time isn't your enemy.
Speaker B:It's God's way of maturing your miracle.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Now he provides the rain, the sun, the nutrients.
Speaker B:You don't have to control the weather, the soil or the timing.
Speaker B:Your job is to sow and trust Him.
Speaker B:God's job is to send the rain when it's needed.
Speaker B:Shine the sun, release the nutrients.
Speaker B:That all causes the increase.
Speaker B:Paul echoed this truth later when he said, I've planted Apollo's water, but it's God that gives the increase.
Speaker B:First Corinthians 3.
Speaker B:6.
Speaker B:Jesus Himself made it clear.
Speaker B:First the blade, then the ear.
Speaker B:After that, the full corn in the ear.
Speaker B:Mark chapter 4, verse 28.
Speaker B:Again, there is a divine order in every harvest.
Speaker B:You can't skip the blade and jump straight to the corn.
Speaker B:Every stage matters.
Speaker B:Sometimes some seeds don't grow.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:They pray for a harvest.
Speaker B:People will pray for a harvest without ever sowing.
Speaker B:Others will sow, but they get impatient and give up before the seed matures.
Speaker B:Some sow with no faith.
Speaker B:They're planting out a habit, not hope.
Speaker B:Faith changes everything.
Speaker B:You can see that in some churches today.
Speaker B:There are some people that have given the same offering for 25 years now.
Speaker B:In 25 years, how many promotions you think they got?
Speaker B:How many pay raises are they given?
Speaker B:But here, there's still we give $20 a week or $50 a week.
Speaker B:Been doing it for years.
Speaker B:That's not faith.
Speaker B:That's habit.
Speaker B:That's not faith.
Speaker B:That's routine.
Speaker B:That's not faith.
Speaker B:That's tradition.
Speaker B:And that's what's killing a lot of churches today.
Speaker B:Traditions.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Don't shut me down.
Speaker B:I'm preaching.
Speaker B:Good.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:That's why Jesus said, give what it.
Speaker B:What you give shall be given back to you.
Speaker B:Again, a good measure.
Speaker B:Pressed down, shaken together and running over Luke 6.
Speaker B:38.
Speaker B:Notice, he didn't say if it'll be given back.
Speaker B:He didn't say if.
Speaker B:He said it shall be.
Speaker B:That's a guaranteed law of increase right there.
Speaker B:You give, he multiplies.
Speaker B:You plant, he prospers.
Speaker B:It, you sow, he supplies.
Speaker B:Because if Jesus said it, what?
Speaker B:It must be true.
Speaker B:Let's talk about the rhythm of faith.
Speaker B:Faith has a rhythm.
Speaker B:Has a rhythm.
Speaker B:Think about it like this.
Speaker B:The farmer doesn't plant one seed and expect a forest to grow overnight.
Speaker B:He understands rhythm and routine.
Speaker B:He doesn't Sow in every season.
Speaker B:He has to trust the rhythm of the system.
Speaker B:You know, if you try and plant in the middle of winter, you can be severely disappointed.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:You have to sow in the proper season.
Speaker B:Faith works the same way.
Speaker B:You sow today because you believe tomorrow's harvest is certain, even if you don't see any green leaves and stuff yet.
Speaker B:And that's not being naive.
Speaker B:That's called kingdom intelligence.
Speaker B:Faith is not pretending something is true.
Speaker B:Faith is acting because you know it's already true.
Speaker B:How do you know?
Speaker B:Because Jesus said so.
Speaker B:He says, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteous.
Speaker B:All these other things will be added to you.
Speaker B:Matthew 6.
Speaker B:That's not a suggestion.
Speaker B:That's a promise.
Speaker B:And God cannot lie.
Speaker B:What did Jesus say?
Speaker B:Book project is the same way.
Speaker B:It's fertile ground to sow into.
Speaker B:It's not theory, it's seed.
Speaker B:Every dollar, every prayer, every share of that message is a seed of truth being planted across the entire world.
Speaker B:And here's what's beautiful.
Speaker B:God's the one responsible for the increase, not us.
Speaker B:He's the one who will open doors and touch hearts and multiply.
Speaker B:Impact through this book.
Speaker B:It's built entirely just on the red words of Jesus himself.
Speaker B:He said the words, I speak to you.
Speaker B:They are spirit and what?
Speaker B:They are life.
Speaker B:And when we spread his words, we are literally sowing life into the soil of the world.
Speaker B:Think about that.
Speaker B:What do you think the harvest from that will be?
Speaker B:1 eternal life for those that read these words.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:So when you sow, do you think God's going to reward you for it?
Speaker B:You're sowing life into the world.
Speaker B:His words.
Speaker B:Hey, man, you need to keep sowing even when you don't see immediate results.
Speaker B:It's establishing roots under the soil.
Speaker B:So keep obeying even when the ground looks dry.
Speaker B:Because the law of the kingdom never fails.
Speaker B:It never fails.
Speaker B:That's called.
Speaker B:Well, we can move that into.
Speaker B:From the rhythm of the harvest to the rhythm of faith.
Speaker B:Opportunity, obedience, and time again.
Speaker B:Opportunity, obedience, and time.
Speaker B:You need to follow that rhythm no matter what you do.
Speaker B:If you want a job, you're looking for someone who's hired.
Speaker B:That's called the opportunity.
Speaker B:You get the job.
Speaker B:Now, you go to work, you do what you're told to do.
Speaker B:That's called obedience.
Speaker B:If you do that over time, you get promoted, you get pay raises.
Speaker B:Look at that opportunity.
Speaker B:Obedience.
Speaker B:And time took you from where you were to where you need to be.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:You need to follow that rhythm, folks.
Speaker B:Your Harvest will always find you.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:That brings us to the undeniable truth that holds this entire message together.
Speaker B:God can't lie.
Speaker B:And if God can't lie, and Jesus is God in the flesh, then every word he ever spoke must still be true today.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Because if Jesus said it, it must be true.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:That's one eternal truth that will settle every single argument.
Speaker B:It eliminates every fear and every doubt in every believer's heart.
Speaker B:God cannot lie.
Speaker B:It's not that he won't lie.
Speaker B:He can't lie.
Speaker B:It's not in his nature.
Speaker B:If God ever lied, the entire universe would become unraveled in a heartbeat.
Speaker B:Truth.
Speaker B:How can I say this, Lord?
Speaker B:Truth is not just something God speaks.
Speaker B:Truth is who God is.
Speaker B:Matter of fact, the Book of Numbers tells us plainly, God's not a man that he should lie, neither the Son of man that he should repent.
Speaker B:Has he said, shall he not do it?
Speaker B: Numbers: Speaker B:Everything God has ever spoken is basically self authenticating.
Speaker B:His word doesn't need proof, it is the proof.
Speaker B:If you find it written in the Bible, it is the truth.
Speaker B:Period, exclamation mark if you want.
Speaker B:When God said, let there be light, notice he didn't argue with the darkness.
Speaker B:He simply spoke and reality rearranged itself to agree with the word spoken.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:That's how truth works in the kingdom.
Speaker B:God doesn't speak to describe things.
Speaker B:He speaks to define things.
Speaker B:Jesus is God in the flesh.
Speaker B:And this is where it gets powerful.
Speaker B:Matter of fact.
Speaker B:Turn over to John, chapter one.
Speaker B:Let's go to John chapter.
Speaker B:I want you to put your eyes on this.
Speaker B:Praise the Lord.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Oh, John.
Speaker B:Where you at?
Speaker B:Over here, boy.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:John, chapter one.
Speaker B:I want you to see this.
Speaker B:Verse 14.
Speaker B:And the Word.
Speaker B:The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
Speaker B:The Word of God was made flesh and dwelt among us.
Speaker B:That means Jesus didn't just quote the truth, he embodied the truth.
Speaker B:And then Jesus himself confirmed it in verse.
Speaker B:Go over here.
Speaker B:Verse 6.
Speaker B:Look at verse 6.
Speaker B:And John chapter 4, I think it is.
Speaker B:Let's turn over.
Speaker B:John 4, 6.
Speaker B:Oh, 14, verse 14.
Speaker B:I'm sorry.
Speaker B:John 14, verse 6.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Look.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:Over here.
Speaker B:14, verse 6.
Speaker B:Jesus said I am.
Speaker B:That's God talk.
Speaker B:I. I am the way, the truth and the life.
Speaker B:No man can come to the Father but by me.
Speaker B:I am the way, the truth and the life.
Speaker B:If God cannot lie and Jesus is God in the flesh, then Jesus can't lie.
Speaker B:Let that settle into your spirit for a second.
Speaker B:If Jesus can't lie, that means everything he said is absolute reality.
Speaker B:Whether the world believes it or not, whether you believe it or not, whether your Aunt Mary believes it or not, whether your next door neighbor believes it or not, whether your co workers at work believe it or not, whether your pastor believes it or not.
Speaker B:When he said give and it.
Speaker B:What's the it?
Speaker B:The seed you sowed.
Speaker B:You want corn, you got to plant corn.
Speaker B:You can't plant wheat if you're hoping for a corn harvest.
Speaker B:You can't plant an acorn if you want an orange tree.
Speaker B:Whatever it is you sow is what you can expect to receive.
Speaker B:Give and it.
Speaker B:That which you have sown will be given to you.
Speaker B:Again, that was not a suggestion, folks.
Speaker B:That was the law of divine call, a reciprocity in motion.
Speaker B:When he said, with God all things are possible, he was revealing the boundary of possibility.
Speaker B:There isn't one.
Speaker B:When he said, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away, he was giving us the most unshakable guarantee, a written guarantee in existence.
Speaker B:Because if he said it, what?
Speaker B:It must be true.
Speaker B:That's our foundation of faith.
Speaker B:That's why we can stand firm when the storms come.
Speaker B:That's why we can sow in the middle of a drought if we need to.
Speaker B:Why?
Speaker B:Because when resources look scarce, that's why we can believe when logic says otherwise.
Speaker B:In the Old Testament, I can't remember where it's at right now, he said a lazy man will say, oh, there's lions out in the street.
Speaker B:That's why he didn't want to go out and sow in the field.
Speaker B:Folks, when an opportunity presents itself, you can't talk yourself out of it.
Speaker B:That opportunity is brought to you by God.
Speaker B:He's trying to get resources to you, but he needs a seed from you.
Speaker B:Why can't God just.
Speaker B:Yeah, if God wanted to, he could rain all these pennies down from heaven filling up your front yard.
Speaker B:If God wanted to, he could command all of the birds to go gather all the loose coins all over the world and, and drop them in your front yard.
Speaker B:And then you're going to complain because you got to put them all in them little tiny coin bags to take them to the bank.
Speaker B:Because you're just not going to pull a wheelbarrow full of coins in to the bank, say, give me cash for this, please.
Speaker B:You, you'd find some reason to complain, wouldn't you?
Speaker B:Don't shake your head no.
Speaker B:You know as well as I do that's the truth.
Speaker B:That's why God, only you can cry and beg all night long.
Speaker B:It doesn't move God.
Speaker B:What moves God is faith.
Speaker B:When you start thanking him for the answer before you even see it.
Speaker B:When you start thanking him for healing your body before you faith, feel it.
Speaker B:When you start thanking him for the job you have, you don't even have a job yet, but the job he's about to give you, you start thanking him for it in advance.
Speaker B:Doors will open, people will sow into your life.
Speaker B:You've probably heard me talk about this story before.
Speaker B:One time we were desperate for money in between jobs and it wasn't working out.
Speaker B:I mean, we needed groceries, need to feed the babies.
Speaker B:We only had like $5, went to the grocery store, we were praying, God, thank you for blessing us with this $5.
Speaker B:Thank you for the money we received to buy groceries for the babies today.
Speaker B:And it was windy, this Texas, central Texas wind blowing, I think it was like March, you know, so yeah, I mean that wind was strong, 20, 30 mile an hour winds.
Speaker B:We got out of the car, started walking up there and right in front of me, right out in the middle of the, you know, where you're walking, you know, parked car and where people are driving, right, there was a $20 bill just stuck to the payment, look like just fluttering in the wind like that.
Speaker B:I looked around, picked it up, looked around to see if maybe somebody dropped it or not.
Speaker B:But all the other pieces of paper were blowing all over the place.
Speaker B:This twenty dollar bill just stuck right where I had to walk over.
Speaker B:God had his finger on that $20 bill so it wouldn't blow away until I could pick it up.
Speaker B:I believe that to this day, with all my heart, that $20 paid our groceries, bought groceries for the babies folks.
Speaker B:We prayed and believed and when we got out of the car, there it was.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:So you can't talk me out of it.
Speaker B:The reason I said all that is because when logic says otherwise, our faith, when it lines up with the word of God, our faith wins every time.
Speaker B:Because our faith is not built on feelings.
Speaker B:Our faith is built on what Jesus said.
Speaker B:Let me say this again.
Speaker B:The what Did Jesus Say?
Speaker B:Book project stands on the same foundation.
Speaker B:This book offers zero commentary, no opinions, no personal interpretations.
Speaker B:It simply shares the unfiltered words of Jesus.
Speaker B:That's why this book is so powerful.
Speaker B:It's not built on man's promises.
Speaker B:It's built on God's truth.
Speaker B:Every single page will remind the reader if Jesus said it, it must be True.
Speaker B:When we distribute this book, we're not just giving people words, we're giving them proof, living proof that God still speaks, God still saves.
Speaker B:God, God still heals, God still provides.
Speaker B:All through the same voice that calmed the seas, raised the dead.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:So when you hear Jesus say, seek ye first the kingdom or give, and it shall be given unto you again, or only believe, you don't have to wonder if that'll work.
Speaker B:Because if God can't lie and Jesus is God in the flesh, then everything Jesus said is eternally true.
Speaker B:That means your harvest, your breakthrough, your promise.
Speaker B:They're not possible truths, they're guaranteed truths.
Speaker B:Let's bring this all home now as we prepare to wrap up.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Yes, Lord.
Speaker B:There's some.
Speaker B:I gotta say this, okay?
Speaker B:What I'm saying right now offends some.
Speaker B:Some people.
Speaker B:Well, that's that.
Speaker B:Prosperity gospel.
Speaker B:Yes, it is.
Speaker B:Well, that's that.
Speaker B:Believe it and claim it and name it and claim it and believe it and grab it and all that.
Speaker B:Yes, it is.
Speaker B:But what's better?
Speaker B:To believe for God's blessings or to believe the devil has cursed you?
Speaker B:To believe God will provide for you when it looks like there's no way, and knowing that Jesus is the way, or just to believe that the devil can beat you up whenever he wants to, what would you.
Speaker B:Which side would you rather be on?
Speaker B:The one that says, jesus, I believe your word, and that's not moving from it.
Speaker B:Or, well, you know, Jesus, the economy is bad and the government shut down and I ain't got no money.
Speaker B:So whatever you can do, just do.
Speaker B:No, you need.
Speaker B:I believe all my needs are met according to your riches in glory through and by Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior, who said, give and it should be given, not just given to you again.
Speaker B:Think about it.
Speaker B:Read the whole verse says, give and it what you give shall be given to you.
Speaker B:Again, not just, you know, you sold $5, now you get $5 back.
Speaker B:No, said it'll be a good measure.
Speaker B:Pressed down and shaken together.
Speaker B:You know, we use the analogy of, you know, a cup of flour.
Speaker B:You know, scoop it in the bag, it's full.
Speaker B:When you start tapping on that side papping, you can get another cup of flour in there, too.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Good measure.
Speaker B:Shaken together.
Speaker B:Running, was it running over?
Speaker B:Men shall give into your bosom.
Speaker B:They're going to chase you down because they're in obedience to God.
Speaker B:They're going to chase you down to sow into your life.
Speaker B:They're going to chase you down to Give you your blessings.
Speaker B:Read it.
Speaker B:Give and it shall be given to you again.
Speaker B:A good measure, pressed down, shaken together.
Speaker B:That talks about that cupboard.
Speaker B:And then it says, and men running over will sow into your life.
Speaker B:Now you can say, I don't believe that and your confession is what you receive, or you can say, jesus, you said it, that settles it.
Speaker B:Cuz you can't lie.
Speaker B:And I believe it.
Speaker B:And let that guide your spirit.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:All right, I'm looking at the clock.
Speaker B:It keeps on running, so we got to get ready to wrap all this up.
Speaker B:You need to sew into what Jesus said.
Speaker B:And that every word Jesus spoke was a seed.
Speaker B:Every single word in this Bible is a seed.
Speaker B:That's the beauty of God's kingdom.
Speaker B:When you sow into His Word, you never lose.
Speaker B:You can only multiply.
Speaker B:Again, Jesus said, give and it what you sow will be given unto you.
Speaker B:A good measure, pressed down, shaken, and running over men will give any.
Speaker B:Luke 6:38.
Speaker B:That is not just poetic language.
Speaker B:That is a divine law.
Speaker B:The same God who created the law of gravity created the law of generosity.
Speaker B:When you give towards what Jesus said, you're participating in a spiritual system that cannot fail.
Speaker B:You may not see the harvest immediately.
Speaker B:It's the same thing when you plant corn out in the field in the spring.
Speaker B:Weeks go by, nothing.
Speaker B:And then one morning you wake up, see, there's a little tint of green out there today.
Speaker B:That doesn't mean you go out and dig it up, start eating corn.
Speaker B:You still got several more months to go before that happens.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:But the process.
Speaker B:As soon as you plant that seed, the process begins.
Speaker B:Hey, man, remember what we said earlier?
Speaker B:There's always opportunity.
Speaker B:Opportunity.
Speaker B:The three things.
Speaker B:Opportunity, then obedience, and then time.
Speaker B:And if you've obeyed and you've sown in faith, it's just a matter of time before that seed produces after its own kind.
Speaker B:And that's what sowing into the Red Letter project is all about.
Speaker B:This is what makes again the what Did Jesus Say Book Project so, so sacred.
Speaker B:Sacred folks, it isn't about fundraising.
Speaker B:It's about faith raising.
Speaker B:It's about putting the unfiltered words of Jesus back into the hands and hearts of people all around this world.
Speaker B:Every single copy of this book represents a soul being reintroduced to the voice of the Master Himself.
Speaker B:Every seed sown into this mission carries eternal truth.
Speaker B:You're not given to a man.
Speaker B:You're sowing into a movement.
Speaker B:You're not supporting an idea.
Speaker B:You're participating in prophecy.
Speaker B:Because Jesus Said heaven and earth will pass away.
Speaker B:My words will not pass away.
Speaker B: Matthew: Speaker B:When you sow into his words, you're investing in what cannot fade, fail or fall.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:And like I said, there's some pastors say, yeah, that's that prosperity gospel.
Speaker B:Yes, it is.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:Well, we don't believe that way.
Speaker B:Well, that's why your church is dying.
Speaker B:Duh.
Speaker B:Yeah, I'm stepping on toes.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:How can you say Jesus's words don't work?
Speaker B:Well, it's not about the prosperity.
Speaker B:No, it's not.
Speaker B:It's about the Word.
Speaker B:His Word.
Speaker B:His Word matters.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:All right, Lord, he said, let it go, Bob.
Speaker B:Let it go.
Speaker B:You made your point.
Speaker B:Yes, sir.
Speaker B:Gotcha.

Speaker B:No, the farmer doesn't wait for the perfect weather to plant.
Speaker B:He plants.
Speaker B:He just plants.
