This is what I would like to have everyone do. That minor unhealthy habit or social habit that you’ve been trying to eliminate for years, chose a key word for your new habit. Use it all day long for two or three days, keep using the key word in new situations for another week, and you’ll have your new habit at the end of three weeks. Then continue to lengthen the time between your new habit and when the old habit comes back, so that eventually it will never return. Your new habit will make you feel good, it’s good for your health, and everyone else will like it too.
