Steve Maxwell is a pioneer in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in America. Steve opened the first BJJ school (Maxercise) on the East Coast of the US.

Steve has trained government agencies such as the DEA, Secret Service and FBI.

Steve brought kettle bells to the East Coast of the US and has been named one of the Top 100 trainers in the US by Men's Journal.
