FIONIA FOLK BROTHERS
Welcome to RadioFolk.dk's podcast Folk Live. In this edition of the podcast we will be featuring the Danish Fionia Folk Brothers, recorded at the famous Danish Tønder Festival that runs the last weekend of August every year.
Fionia Folk Brothers are five very experienced musicians rooted in traditional Danish dance music, featuring instruments such as fiddle, accordion, double bass and piano, and the music they play comes from every corner of the Danish kingdom.

They have all learned from the old masters as well as from old and dusty music books and scratchy field recordings from the beginning of the 20th century.
In this concert they will perform traditional dance tunes like Marie's Hopsa, Before the soup, and the Liver Paté Waltz, and they will start up with Jørgen Bricklayers Polka...
