Shownotes
In this episode I talk with Brendan from Music Kids Academy about the benefits of music for our mental health. We talk about the challenges of music, particularly as the arts are removed from the curriculum as a first point of call in cost savings, and we look at failure, confidence and tools to help us with a positive mindset.
Brendan is also a coach and gives great insight into his thoughts around topics of mindset. We discover what keeps him grounded and why he got into music in the first place.
If you want to play an instrument, it is never too late to start. If you think the provision in your, or your children’s school is lacking, pass this on to the people who make the decisions. Start teaching our kids the joy of music so it’s not lost and can help their mental health, along with your own.
