He discusses the idea of work becoming more efficient with advancements like AI and 3D printing, and how periods of expansion and contraction are a natural part of business. Adam also explores the impact of layoffs and the transient nature of relationships in the workplace. He emphasizes the importance of raising others up and contributing to their growth, regardless of how long they may be in your life.

Key Takeaways:

  • Work is an opportunity for exploration, learning, and personal growth
  • The transient nature of relationships in the workplace should not diminish the impact and contribution you can make to others' growth

Hey everybody, welcome to the show. Jump on the mic solo today. One of the, I think, most interesting things about life is this thing we call work. It's, you know, work is work and there's certainly a mechanical nature to making money. And money is very important. It's not the most important thing, but it's definitely very important in our current society. Now I've, I've riffed on this before about whether or not there is at some point in time, some universal income.

I want to call it universal income, that AI becomes so efficient that people don't need to work about, don't need to think about work in the same way. Meaning that, you know, 150 years ago, people that were overweight were considered, you know, the wealthy because they had money to buy food. Once food became ubiquitous, it kind of switched roles, right? It started playing the opposite. People that could eat less and not be indulged in those things are, you know, now rewarded in our society, if you will.

I think the same thing are going to happen with things as 3D printing. We bought a 3D printer and made a, you know, my son and I can make pretty much anything that's relatively small within 40 minutes, an hour. And at some point, I think that happens with all of things. You'd be able to go down there and for $5, you can print whatever it is, or just the amount of the cost is going to be so much lower. So then we had this whole thing called work, right? Which is what sparked this conversation. Why I want to get some thoughts on this is from twofolds. Having a...

a deep conversation with a friend of mine who owns a company and had to make some layoffs. And we started having this conversation how you can be with people for 10 years, five years, two years, right? 20 years. And then, you know, you spend so much time working through challenges and problems and you have success and you have failures and, you know, all the learning that goes on and, you know, as more companies embrace personal sides of life, you're sharing a little bit more of that, right?

about their lives, you understand. Maybe you go to their wedding or their child's graduation or whatever it is, you start just being interacting with their life. You hear about it, you hear about their weekends. It just happens in the natural flow of life. At least in our organization, you get to know people in this particular individual's organization as well. And then the economy constricts and things get more challenging.

adam (:

And instead of hiring, you're actually looking to do layoffs. And that was what happened with this organization as well, too. I mean, and no company is immune to it, by the way. I don't give your Amazon or our organization or anybody else. You go through periods of expansion, which is where you can go out there. You can invest in R &D. You can have opportunities to just explore within your realm of your flywheel of your organization to see what might stick. But then periods of contraction, you actually have to tighten the belt on that and remove things that are not

you know, directly tied to the floor. And so we just started having this really kind of philosophical conversation about how you spend so much time with these individuals that in one moment, they're just not there anymore. And sure, maybe it's a two week notice, maybe it's a 30 day notice, or maybe it's there, but you're in meetings, you're in, you know, there's a hierarchy almost there that's also, and then immediately when that goes away, there is none of that. There's no more of that hierarchy, right? There's no more of that person, they're just kind of gone. They're just in your life and they're just out.

And it's not, you know, and he was feeling, you know, a little bad about this because he had people in there. And one of the things we got this deep conversation with was, look, like when people come in your life, it's your, to me, it's your obligation to raise them up the best that you can. That's why the mission for like the, if you think about like my North star in my life is to raise the moment that's in front of me. So the moment is better off.

And it doesn't, it's not about how long the moment's gonna be with you or how long an individual is gonna be with you or how long you're with an organization. It's just during that time, can you have fun? Can you explore? Can you learn? Can you get challenged? And you will do all of that. But those are all things that you get to experience. And so it's only when we get trapped in our minds and so our thinking like this needs to last forever. Why isn't it lasting forever? Or, you know, it's very difficult to go through these situations. Of course they are. There's...

life can be very difficult. It's supposed to be. There's supposed to be adversity. But if you always look at it from the angle of whatever is in front of me, whatever is in this moment, how can I help it? How can I serve it? And a lot of the times, or how can I contribute towards it? So if there's an employee that's with you and you're raising them up and you're teaching them leadership and all of a sudden they leave and all of a sudden in two weeks they're gone, well, you did your part.

adam (:

We've all had conversations with people that have led us before and be like, man, I'm glad I'm not with that company, but man, I learned all of this. Or it wasn't the right fit for me, but I learned this or I learned how not to do that. So everything is for you. So the point of this conversation is ultimately work is a guru. Work is lessons. Work is your opportunity for growth. That's why we said business is nothing but a conduit for personal growth. Now, of course, this extends to life is nothing but your guru. Life is nothing.

but giving you opportunities to grow and to work through those challenges. But if we can just pause for a second and reflect on the nature of you get to work with all different sorts of people. They think differently, they act differently, they have different personalities, things that are, you know, that are attracted to them and not attracted to you. And that's the really neat thing is you get to explore the depth of the human experience. But too much of us get caught up in our personal minds telling us how to...

actually enjoy the human experience instead of actually enjoying the human experience in the suffering sets in when the personal mind the lower I would refer to that starts to jump in and narrate how life should be for us instead of allowing life to actually do its dance instead of allowing the experience of working with people there in your life you're exploring your winning your succeeding you're having challenges and then.

guess what? At some point in time, anybody that's in your business life is going to go away. And either you're going to go away or they're going to go away. So at some point, the relationship comes to an end. So then we stop putting so much pressure on having to have the perfect relationship or try to make everything work. Again, it doesn't mean you're not smart in business and you take the right tools and you don't keep people or build moats around people or fight for your people. I'm not saying that because when you're building a team, that's the most important people are your people. But people are going to come and go.

over the last three to four years, we've seen more people transition in and out of organizations and industries than any other time in history. And so they call it the great resignation because people woke up and said, okay, I'm going to go with this. I'm going to try this over here. I want to do that. And there's nothing wrong with all of that. There's just going to be movement that happens. And so as a business owner or as an employee, the thing that you look at is, is how can I show up and contribute? What am I being asked to do? How can I help this person? And again, knowing that it's never none of this is going to last forever. In fact,

adam (:

I heard this not too long ago that the minute you're born, everyone is infected with a terminal virus called time. And it's, it's, I know it's a weird way of thinking about that, but a terminal virus called time, because it is the minute you're born into the human experience, you're, you're at some point, time will be what takes you away. At some point, time will take the physical, the human experience away. So what prevents us from enjoying more of the time that we have at work?

And I get it, there's some stressful situations, there's some people, but isn't that art? If you're choosing to stay in situations again, for whatever reason that it is for your responsibilities that we do have mechanical natures of making and generating money to the, you know, the lifestyle that you want to support, all those different things, you have reasons for it. But if you're going to be doing it, why not take it as an opportunity to learn? Why not take this as an opportunity to really embrace this? And you know, what we're seeing is I love coaching sports.

And we start to see the same thing happening in sports where, you know, coaching different levels, but let's call it for fifth grade. You're starting to see this comradery that generates with individuals that maybe they're not necessarily friends, but they contribute to the sports team in a different way that creates a different respect. And we just use that as a conversation, at least in our household is you don't have to hang out with everybody. But now if somebody is contributing to your team.

and they're contributing in a healthy way, you can see how treating them with respect to all sorts of, you know, in or off the field makes a big difference. And that's part of the gift of this experience that you're having. That's why all of business, all of life is just an opportunity for us to grow. And we just get to witness the next moment. We just get to experience the human endeavor or the human experience that we're having. That's the beauty of the human experience is that they're all different. And they're, if, look,

If every experience that we had on the physical side just was you got everything you wanted, you would you would literally be unhappy because there needs to be adversity. It doesn't mean you can't have a feeling internally of acceptance of high of different states. These things are going to happen. That's part of why we talk about it in the 200 % life way, which is there's 100 % outer experience.

adam (:

you know, your outer life, the roles that we play, the things that we do. That's the other thing of just in business in general, again, you have people come in your life, they're in it, you're giving it to them, you think you're going to be there for a long period, then boom, somebody has to do a cut or somebody gets an opportunity and leaves. And there's nothing wrong with that. You know, I tell all of my employees all the time, if they ever, you know, I don't want to want anybody to leave, but if there's ever a better opportunity, I don't ever want to stand in anybody's way. And if somebody can ever do it better than me, I don't want to stand in the way of a company. And so it's just, it's not a, it's just a realistic,

part of life, which is we are in right now we are working and you can enjoy whatever you're doing. I'm not saying you can't move or, you know, improve your life. You should you should strive for these things are wonderful things to do to strive for better physical physical side of life. And I mean, physicality. I mean, the human experience on the physical life, right? Not the inner experience, which is completely different, but that's that's how it how does it start? Right. So where do you do the work?

so that you're able to let life do its dance and you get to experience it. It's just way more fun to live your life that way. It doesn't mean you're not laser focused on goals. It doesn't mean you don't make a lot of money or you don't make a lot of money. It just means that you get focused on what's going to matter the most. And what it is is how did I enjoy this experience? How did I contribute to this individual, whether with me for a year or five years? In real estate, one of the most common questions I always got was,

I know that the average lifestyle or the life cycle of an agent on a team is about 24 months. Okay, it's about two years. So why would I, Adam, come in there and spend so much time lift, you know, pouring a ton of energy into an individual is just going to leave and potentially be my competitor. And I go, well, what's your other alternative to not to sit there and to not raise somebody up, to not teach them because then they're never going to succeed. And they're just going to leave anyways at a faster clip.

and you didn't have any contribution to their success. And so when you start looking at this as a holistic role that you're just here to contribute and get outside of what's in this for me, you know, the Bhagavad Gita does a really good job of this. And it's, you know, of course, Krishna is talking to Arjuna and he's like, basically go to war. He's like, even though it's there, like it's your, you're supposed to go to war. Just do it, play out your karma. That's what they talk about doing that. Same thing in business. If you're in business, if you're in whatever field that you're in, there's, there's a natural progression to go out and play as best as you can.

adam (:

And so it's not that we never don't play in life. The difference is, how do I enjoy more of how I'm doing this? There's just so many people so stressed in their jobs and I get it that times can be very challenging in business. But can't that be the opportunity for your growth? Of Elise going, huh, I wonder why this is bothering me. I wonder what's inside that is causing this stress and just asking you a different question instead of going,

It's got to be this person. It's got to be that. Of course, you can improve your situation. You can improve your life situation. Of course, you can, you know, find another job and move or, you know, ask, you know, it's not about being treated poorly. We're not talking about that level. We're talking about, yes, there's things that are out there. That's why being in business is you're signing up to do things that you wouldn't normally do that all sudden bother you. And again, that's the key here is to recognize.

While I'm at work, while I'm interacting with business, while I'm an employee, whether I'm a leader, I'm a CEO, whatever you're doing, those are just roles that you're playing. And how do you play the role the best? Right? How do you do it best? I always, you can always bring this back to sports. I started going there earlier. It's just, you can play the roles the best, but the minute you're off the field, you don't have to carry that around with you. In the minute you're no longer a CEO, you don't have to carry that around with you either. So you're walking around home or, you know, or, you know, around town, like thinking that you're the best.

You know, one of the things I've been really teaching my kids is that their experience isn't any better than anybody else's experience. And it's something that I have been really working on as well too, is at times I can be like, well, how come they wouldn't want to do what I did? And you stop and you realize it's because they don't want your experience or maybe they do, but that's not their experience that they're having. And why is it, why is it in our own personal minds that we just all of a sudden think and start to buy in that the experience that we had,

is better than somebody else's experience. Maybe it's not. Maybe it's not better than somebody else's experience. We'd have no idea because no two human experiences are the same. And I think we get caught up in thinking that like, well, you need to be over here because your experience is going to be better. Maybe it is. Maybe it's not. But I don't think we need to walk around with that entitlement of our experiences better because there's plenty of people have way more money than 99 .9 % of the world and their experience is not better internally.

adam (:

In fact, there's people that are famous or act, I mean, it happens every day. Every day, very, very famous people all sudden realize are having a worse off inner experience than most other people. And again, it can be the opposite. There's, I know very wealthy people that are very, very content and joyful and experience life fully, but they don't walk around thinking that their experience is better. And so we just got to be very careful as you succeed in business, succeed in different things that

It's not walking around that your experience that you're having is higher than anybody else's experience. That is only the personal mind narrating and telling you that this experience happens to be better than somebody else's. That is really the definition of ego, isn't it? Is that I'm superior and that the things that happen to me or that I get to experience are better. And this is why people post on social and this is why people try to shout from the rooftops of what they're doing and why they're better and who cares?

Who really, all of it really comes down to, again, everyone's doing the same thing, which is trying to get your inner experience okay. So I really wrote the book, The 200 % Life, was to recognize it's not about stopping what you're doing outwardly. It's not about living in a cave. It's actually about leaning into life. It's being an employee. It's being a leader. It's being a business owner. It's about losing money, making money. It's the challenges, the successes of all of that. But there's a constant back there. There's somebody who gets to experience all of that, and that's you.

That's the real you. There's somebody in there getting to experience all the human experience that you have. And I say human, the physical, the objects of consciousness, the roles we play, the kids, whether you have kids or not have kids, the vacations, all that. You're experiencing all of it. And yet, remember, like we just talked about, we get caught up in thinking that I need a special experience. Well, remember, if we're walking around looking for special experiences, we're never gonna actually experience life. What you're gonna experience,

is your mind narrating whether this is the highest experience you can have. This is why when you start to feel good about an experience, the mind, the person of mind will jump in there and want to amplify that experience. It'll want to say, well, you should buy a house down here. You should go and get this. If you just want bought this piece of clothing or that car, and then you're able to drive on a sunny day, then it would be even better. If I just had that boat that I just saw drive by, I could probably be having that experience on the lake. And that would be a wonderful experience. Well, I've had boats and I can tell you,

adam (:

There's some joy, but the majority of the experience that you can have out there is not better than the one that you're having. That's what I went back to before about this whole emphasis on your experience is not better than anybody else's experience. And stop thinking that your experience needs to be modified. This is where we get caught so much in is, and I started this conversation with work, but it just bleeds into all of this, which is stop looking for a better experience. It's not about not improving your life.

But if the personal mind is narrating that you need to have a better experience, you're no longer living the experience of life, your living mind, which is what most people do. That's why they end up paying attention to it and then trying to act off of that because you're trying to get some future experience. Here becomes the challenge. The minute that becomes the focal point of your life, you're no longer actually in alignment with it because now you're in alignment with your personal mind, your ego, your self -concept.

telling you and narrating and you're actually following through with what it is. This is why it's so important to do this deep work. I say deep work because it's the inner work that you're doing, which is to ask, first of all, it's listening to this. If you're listening to this, then that's wonderful. I mean, you're on this path. You're recognizing that there is something deeper than these roles and making money and having kids and getting a house or getting things or taking a vacation. All wonderful things, all things you should do or not do. It's almost irrelevant.

But what you start to recognize is that it's really, I can have all of this and all the money, but if my inner experience is poor, if my inner experience is pulling me down, that's what it feels like in there. It's like this pulling into this negative state or this negative experience you're having inwardly, nothing outwardly is going to change that. And so then you ask deeper questions, well, why can't I feel high? Why can't I have this inner experience that feels positive, that feels uplifting, that feels light, that feels peaceful, that feels more joyful?

And the really wild thing is we're all psychologists. We all know the difference between hate and anger or irritation and frustration. Yes, there are words we made up, but there's slight difference of energy. It's like so etheric. It just can change and we can go, no, I'm not angry anymore. I'm actually really frustrated. And then you go from frustration to actually really sad. Well, who is the one who knows you're having different experiences in there? That's you. That's...

adam (:

That's witness consciousness. I'm just witnessing the experience I'm having inside. And on the other side, how do I know I feel really good today? How do I know? Yesterday, I was like halfway through the day, some good things were happening and I was like, wow, it's amazing. Like life, these really cool things opened up. The sun came out. It was a nice day and feeling completely uplifted. And I'm just going to just run with it. It's not like you prevent that from happening.

You just allow it to come in and go, wow, this is awesome. This is great. It wasn't like I need to make it better. It's not going to last forever. When is this going to end? It's just your experience in the moment. The same thing on the other side. When it starts to contract and things become harder, it doesn't go like, how long is this going to last for? What's going to end? This is a really different experience. And by the way, your higher self can talk to your lower self. You can literally have a conversation with like, okay, it's just something I get to experience.

Wow, this feels a lot different, doesn't it? And you go, yeah, it does. It does feel a lot different. And then you just make peace with that, that experience. And then you just look around to see how you can help, to see how you can contribute. And I promise you, the answer is always there. The answer is always there of what you can do. The majority of time in my experience, you actually don't have to do much. It's only when we get back into how to amplify an experience so it becomes better. And this is why people, by the way, fear death so much.

You know, they really fear death because they're still looking for an experience to find themselves. They're still looking for that amplified experience. And it goes back to the baseline thesis of this conversation today, which is your experience is not any better than anybody else's experience. It's different. It's a different outer experience. And yes, again, I'm not talking about the unethical, the unmoral things that are actually happening in there. I'm talking about the average individual who's listening to this podcast.

of what your experiences are, it just is this endless, pointless suffering that we cause on ourselves. It's like an experience happens and we don't like it and we push it away. And then you go, instead of letting it go, you just go, I'm gonna hold onto this for my entire life so it can bother me every day. That's essentially how most people wake up. And so we can use work. We can use work as this wonderful opportunity to let go of ourselves. We can use work as a way to go, that bothered me. There must be something,

adam (:

I can let go within here and then you just you become a let go machine. Where I also mean is let go is just a relax, a release, come back to the present moment. Three, two, one, relax. You watch your thoughts, use positive affirmation. All of that is just starting to release the energy. And as it releases, you become lighter. You truly become a less rock that's being, you're being sculpted. You're letting go of it. It's like the iceberg is melting.

So it's no longer holding you down. It's no longer pulling you. And the fundamental truths about this is that these have been conversations for thousands and thousands of years. This isn't always joke when I'm teaching in business. I'm like, you know, it's not like in the, you know, 200 BC that they were teaching about leadership. They were teaching about these concepts, which is your spirituality, which is the inner growth. Know thyself was...

You know, it was inscribed in pyramids and temples, breadcrumbs to go, okay, what really matters here? Which is, who are you? Which is really the question people are asking. Who are you? And once you recognize who you are, you recognize that these are just experiences that you get to have. And sure, every person has a different physical body and a different experience that they're having. That's why it feels so separate. But it's still the same consciousness.

whatever you want to refer to it as omnipresent that is still having the ultimate experience. It's just like the sun is hitting on different parts of the world and hitting on, if I look outside my window, it's hitting on a tree, but it's not hitting on the fence post. Yeah, it's still there or it's hitting on the tree. It's also hitting on a leaf, but it's the same light, the same consciousness hitting on different aspects of this. The other example I love to use is like a Bunsen burner. You have one burner flame, but each flame is now

through one of the individual holes. One of those individual holes is what's heating up the pot, the boil. So it's not about not understanding or being like, we're all ones, therefore it's all great. No, it's all about recognizing that you're having your own experience. Enjoy that experience in the wholeness, the consciousness that's powering your experiences, powering everybody else's experience. And so, yes, in one essence, we're all powered by the same consciousness.

adam (:

Anyways, so you stop and just go, okay, at the end of my time, we just had a, the last three weeks we've had, you know, again, I think everyone goes through different cycles of this, three individuals that were relatively close. I don't mean they're within a couple degrees of separation had died at really young ages in their mid forties and mostly heart attacks. It's still the number one cause of death for men and women is cardiovascular disease and healthy people too, by the way. And you just stop and realize, man, all these problems that I think I have.

all this stress that I think I have, it goes away the minute any of those things show up. And so then we go, how do I enjoy my life a little more? And it's the whole point of me doing this 200 % Life podcast is just to bring a little bit more joy, a little bit more peace, a little bit more of just, I'm going to talk a little bit differently to you so that you can reflect on things a little bit differently and have a different North star instead of about accomplishing all of these things so I can feel good. Why not feel good?

and then just enjoy whatever accomplishments come your way. It's a way better way to live your life. And at the end of the day, at the end of the day, you're literally, if you have your last moments, minutes, whatever it is, you're just gonna go, did I enjoy my life? Did I enjoy my experience? And the answer you're gonna wanna say is yes. It didn't say, did I make a billion dollars? Did I not? It's all of these things. That's the gift, is enjoying.

your experience. It doesn't mean getting everything you want. It doesn't mean that life's going to be the way you want it to. But life is customized for each one of us. It is customized for whatever reason. If you had the experience, you're supposed to have it. So then we just have a little bit more lightness and go, okay, well, I can enjoy that. I can contribute to it. And, you know, we started this conversation because we ended up having a deep conversation, a philosophical conversation with a friend of mine about this.

relationship with work and employees and leadership and owners and you're with them and you're with them forever accomplishing things and then just one moment one day your company decides to lay off everybody or a couple of different people or you get laid off or you have to lay people off and they're no longer in your life but you still contribute to that person you still made an impact you're still part of that dash you're still part of their experience and so again there are things in life that are going to be really challenging but we can enjoy those just as much as we can enjoy the other things who says you can't enjoy those things?

adam (:

course you can. You know, we're we're we spent a lot of time working with our kids on on our our our four or five lacrosse team three, four actually boys and girls, but three, four boys is what they're and they are a team they are awesome. They're some of the players are playing a national teams. We just happen to have where I live in Stowe. It's quite the really interesting kind of sports.

place if you will because anybody moves the stove by the way only moves here because they want to be in athletics you want to be outside you want to enjoy the piece under the mountains and so the kids ultimately last couple years a lot of really athletic kids have shown up and so their parents really get engaged on so anyways we got a lot of really for small town we've got a unbelievable team and we started beating these teams literally in the first four minutes it'd be like 10 nothing and it was in there looking.

up in there saying we want better competition and it's because we started making a pass everything is not about the fact that they're winning it's the fact that they go we just want competition there's almost like they rather lose in a really tight game that continue to win like this because there is no adversity there there's no challenges there is the same thing with us you know the minute life gets a little bit too easy we want to go push and find something that makes it challenging we want to go then make find something in business we turn up caught up cause a problem so we can solve it.

But then you go, but just enough so I can solve it and not too much that I can't handle. It's like we want to regulate this and we're doing all of this. It's so much energy goes into trying to customize. You're trying to customize your life when life's already customized for you. You're trying to make it a better experience when the experience is already happening for you. Work, business, family, by yourself. So then you pause and say, okay, well then I'm just going to enjoy the experience. Again, for me, that's why it's...

My mission in my life is just to raise the moment that's in front of me. It's not about doing everything that everybody asks you. It's not about giving everybody everything asked you. It's not about getting on every podcast. I turn down a lot of podcasts. Anyways, it doesn't matter for me. It just matters. There's ways to say yes and ways to say no. And you can do all of that. You just come down to, I'm going to enjoy my experience. I'm going to enjoy my experience at work no matter how long it lasts. I'm going to enjoy being unemployed. I'm going to enjoy being employed. Why not? Because at the end of the day, think about...

this a year ago, right? In April, you know, the problems that you had, you remember them? Of course you don't. Maybe the big problem you had from two years ago is even a problem anymore. 99 % of them are no. So then you wake up and go, then why am I doing this every day? Take a breath, three, two, one, relax. I'm going to enjoy my life more. I'm going to enjoy the experience. I'm not going to allow the personal mind to want to.

you know, create a better experience in my mind that I have to go try to fulfill outside. That's what ultimately happens. You create, you're having a wonderful experience and your mind starts to want to up it. And then you try to go make that experience happen outside. And it never does it that way. Instead of just going, why can't I just take a breath and allow life to unfold? And I'm going to show up and contribute how I can. And I'm going to enjoy all of those experiences with employees, without employees, in work, out of work, all of those things with kids, without kids, like just.

and life will give you whatever you need to grow. It'll give you your opportunity. It'll give you everything that you think you need. It will. It'll give you, it's already customized, everything. You just get to just open your eyes and listen to the birds sing. Listen to the, and right now it's spring in Vermont, so we're watching all, every day you can see the buds opening up more and more. We're not doing any of that. You're not making your body run the way you think you are. Sure, you're feeding it, but even then I would...

question whether that's even really good. So it's just, we just pause and go, I'm going to enjoy my experience of life more. Work, life, family, all of this. So just take a deep breath, breathe, and remember life is 200%. It's all about those wonderful goals and things and roles we can play outside. But more importantly, it's about how do I feel inside? It's about the inner experience that I get to experience. And remember there's a constant behind there.

There's somebody that recognizes your inner experience and there's somebody that's recognizing the outer experience. That is you. That is who you are. That is how you ultimately get out of this. You watch the mind try to take you over. You watch the personal mind try to up the experience. You just don't engage with it. And eventually it begins like writing on water. It just is there for a moment. You recognize it and you don't get caught up in it and you let it simply go. So practice these things. Next time something shows up and it bothers you,

before you touch it, before you engage it, take a pause and just go, what if I just let this come through? And until you experience that, no words are gonna get you there. It's just, what does it mean to let it come through? It just simply means, I'm gonna let the experience pass through me. I'm gonna let it come through me. I'm just going to hear it, it bothered me, something got hit in there and I experienced this feeling that I do not like, but I'm gonna sit here and do not like it. I'm just going to just...

Allow that do not like feeling just to sit there and as you do it, it's like you're leaning in and it just goes through. Start with small things that you can and eventually this will ultimately change your life. It gives you way more peace, way more enjoyment in everything that you're doing. Employed, not employed. So practice these things. Thank you for listening and thank you for doing this work. Bye bye.
