RAF Scampton, near Lincoln, was a legendary RAF Bomber Command base, famous for the Dambusters' 617 Squadron in WWII but it's not only the home of legends but also where this particular legend was born and remains, One of Lincolnshires finest Autograss Racers. A young boy who watched Sturton and Stow Autograss from his bedroom window and once even drove his race car to the meeting! He started as a 12 year old junior 30 years after his Dad was a Lincolnshire regular. He took a brief foray into fwd cars then found his spiritual home in the shape of an ARD chassis cloaked with a the very famous Riley Elf shell. Now well established with two UK Autograss championship titles to his name, Many major final results and he’s really only just finding his feet and a bright future is on the horizon. The road wasn’t always this smooth but as this aggressive young driver has calmed into the role “don’t say roll” he’s become a force to be reckoned with and is absolutely never to be overlooked. With a growing family means a bigger race team and the ability to regularly re focus on the job in hand is paramount but with a solid work ethic no job is to big for this fella.
