3 Tips for Work Life Balance:
1. NON-NEGOTIABLE DATE NIGHTS WEEKLY
✨ Date yourself, date your partner, date your kids - having intentional time with yourself allows you to reflect on your visions, limiting beliefs, & truly understand who and what you want to bring & become in life. Being intentional with your partner allows intimate time to check in and catch up with what is going on emotional, professionally, and mentally; while also expressing gratitude for the endless support to ensure that they are still a priority in your life. One on one time with your kids is important. Kids learn amazing life lessons when raised in a house of business owners, and multi-passionate parents. However they need to be reminded at time that they do not come second to your dreams.
2. PLANNING AHEAD
✨ Time blocking and scheduling is so significant. “If it’s not on the calendar it doesn’t exist.” So add everything - lunch time, date time, family time, content creating, personal growth, working out, etc.
3. CREATE OFFICE HOURS
✨ Yes there are going to be seasons that you might push a little harder than usual; but never put your family last. Creating “working hours” and staying true to them is not only creating healthy boundaries for yourself & clients. But it allows you to still enjoy the things in life that are meaningful to you. This prevents burnout.
There is not right or wrong when it comes to executing these tips. However the main key to success is being INTENTIONAL in everything you do. 5 minutes of intentionality is more significant than 1 hour of unfocused energy.
