Episode 3 •
11th January 2022 • Make Beautiful Things - Finding Joy & Purpose in Our Work, Relationships & Communities • Kristin Fitch - Online Business Strategist, Encourager, Christian Life Coach, Faith-led Entrepreneur
In today's solo episode Kristin talks about how we can have better conversations by getting clear on what we want from the other person, framing the conversation, and being a good listener. Kristin shares insight from Dr. Kevin Payne who Kristin recently interviewed for an upcoming episode and one of the things that came up was that in most conversations we either want to be supported (emotional connection) or we want solutions and if we consider our conversations from that perspective it makes the idea of communicating clearer.
Kristin shares examples of how we can frame the conversation (what do we want from the listener- ex for them to listen or support us (I need to vent), or do I want ideas/brainstorm, solutions, advice or something else?).
What is holding you back from going after your dreams to start your business or to write a book or launch a podcast, to sell your art or clothing, or to start an online business or take an epic adventure or travel around the world?
Kristin speaks to entrepreneurs who are doing work they love while building the life they want and doing it on their terms- let's start taking action to create and monetize our creative ideas and passions and turn them into thriving businesses- let's go after our dream work, find financial freedom, and spend more time with people we love. Let’s build businesses we are proud of and have lasting impact in the world.
