You're going to have some bad days, you're going to have some bad times, you're going to have some challenges, you're going to have some bumps in the road, some obstacles and things that hold you back, and you're going to have a choice. Are you going to fall in that hole or are you going to bounce over it and keep going? Are you going to focus on those bad times or are you going to focus on where you are going? As I record this, I've had a weird couple of months, just a lot of things going wrong, not life-changing things, just stuff not working out. I play a board game and I get an improbably terrible hand or something crazy happens. I had someone who booked a call with me, we were halfway through the conversation, she was talking, dropped off the call, blocked me on Facebook. I don't know what happened. It's just weird, weird stuff's going on. I could say, I'm cursed, everything's going wrong. Or I could say, well that's funny, now let's get on with it. Well that's weird, what's next? Well that's odd, that's amusing, that's quirky, back to work. We have a choice, we have a choice where we focus our attention. We take in millions of pieces of data every single day and we can interpret that data any way we want. We can look at what happens in our lives, determine that we are snake bit, we are cursed, everything bad is going to happen to us no matter what. Or we could look at that data and find evidence that it's going to work out and everything's going great for us. Or we could take the evidence and say, well what happens is what I make happen, it's up to me. You can take that evidence, there's so much data you can cherry pick it to any conclusion you want. So I'm telling you, take the conclusion that serves you. Don't believe you're cursed, don't focus on the bad stuff. Don't say I'm having a bad day, just say some weird things happen, some things I didn't like. happened. Now I'm going to make some things I do like happen. Now we're going to make it better. Now we're going to turn it around because I control my life and I control my perceptions and I control my mind and I control my destiny. I control my destiny. So don't have a bad day. Don't have a hard day. Don't have bad luck or rough luck or a tough day. Things happen. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're bad, but mostly they are only good or bad because we think they are. So let's choose, if we're going to cherry pick the data, if we're going to choose our reality, let's choose the reality that serves us, serves our greatness, and serves our mission.
