On the 153rd episode of Piecing It Together, film-critic Noah Gittell joins me to talk about Aneesh Chaganty's sophomore effort, Run. After 2018's excellent Searching, I was eagerly awaiting what he would do next... Unfortunately Run, a movie that looked like it was inspired by Lifetime movies... Is basically just another Lifetime movie. Puzzle pieces include The Shining, Gaslight, a whole lot of Hitchcock and a whole lot of Lifetime.

As always, SPOILER ALERT for Run and the movies we discuss!

Director – Aneesh Chaganty

Writer – Aneesh Chaganty

Starring Sarah Paulson, Kiera Allen

Lionsgate / Hulu

Noah Gittell is a film critic whose work can be read and seen in a variety of sources including The Washington City Paper, The Guardian, BBC and more.
