The nation holds at preparedness level four as firefighters work to suppress and contain 36 large fires burning about 526,000 acres, with 177 new fires reported in the July 7 national report.

Extreme fire behavior and evacuations are reported in multiple geographic areas and the Rocky Mountain and Great Basin regions are the busiest in the country.

Widespread lightning is expected to keep generating new starts and outflow.

Gusts up to 50 mph May fan new and existing fires as minimum humidity falls to 10 to 25% across much of the Intermountain West.

Year to date, 37,535 fires have burned more than 3.3 million acres.

Recovery operations continue across the Marianas after Super Typhoon Bavi.

CNMI governor David M. Apatang declares the all clear for Saipan, Tinian, Rota and the Northern Islands effective noon Tuesday, while nearly 500 people remain in emergency shelters and Rota reports extensive damage from a direct hit.

Power restoration begins on Saipan and Tinian and on Guam, 67 of 99 water wells are back online on generator power.

About 240 federal responders are on Saipan, roughly 100 FEMA personnel are on Guam, and the Coast Guard is working to reopen ports in both territories.

In the desert Southwest, an extreme heat warning holds through Thursday with highs of 110 to 117 degrees around Phoenix, while a level 2 of 4 flash flood threat covers the upper Midwest through Wednesday, including Minneapolis, Duluth and Green Bay, where saturated soils could turn widespread 1 to 2 inch rains locally up to 5 inches into flash flooding.

Scattered severe storms capable of large hail and damaging winds are possible from the Central High Plains into the Upper Midwest.

On the Cyber front, CISA adds three vulnerabilities to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog covering Joomshaper SP Page Builder, LangFlow and Joomlac Page Builder and directs prioritized remediation.

Let's run through the states Alaska eight large fires are burning about 6,500 acres across the Interior.

The Mud Fire southeast of Caltag is the largest at 1,733 acres, followed by the Michigan Fire west of Coldfoot at 1,446 acres and the Shaw Fire northeast of Delta Junction at 1,428 acres.

Above normal temperatures are forecast with portions of the northern Interior and North Slope reaching up to 85 degrees and scattered thunderstorms are expected across the western interior.

Arizona The Pocket Fire seven miles north of Sedona stands at 26,697 acres and 48% containment.

Crews and helicopters are working to keep the fire within its footprint in West Fork Canyon and slow its movement toward Oak Creek Canyon.

Separately, an extreme heat warning remains in effect through Thursday for the Phoenix area, with afternoon highs of 111 to 116 degrees and overnight lows offering little relief.

California A new wildfire near Covelo in Mendocino county prompts an evacuation order Tuesday afternoon for residents east of Mena Road to Agency Road, along with an evacuation warning for a nearby zone.

The fire was reported around 3:30pm and initially estimated at about 15 acres.

Colorado the Aspen Acres fire in southern Colorado grows to 93,634 acres at 15% containment.

Sheriffs report 266 structures destroyed, 185 homes in four commercial buildings in Pueblo county and 81 homes in Custer County.

More than 11,000 people remain evacuated across Pueblo, Custer, Huerfano and Fremont counties, though orders near Colorado City are downgraded to pre evacuation status.

A disaster assistance center is open at the Pueblo Academy of Arts from 11am to 6pm daily through July 14 and residents cleared for reentry need an identification card from the center.

The Gold Mountain Fire north of Ra is officially listed at 29,287 acres with 2% containment, and fire officials report growth past 31,000 acres with more than 900 personnel assigned.

Level 3 evacuation orders remain for Panoramic Heights, Lake, Lenore, Peck's Trailer Park, Redstone Road and Cow Creek, with level 2 warnings for black Lake and Whispering Pines.

No new evacuations were ordered Tuesday.

The Ferris Fire on the San Juan national forest is at 51,622 acres and 22% containment, and the Willow Fire west of Leadville is at 4,150 acres and 5%.

Hawaii the National Hurricane center gives a low pressure area well southeast of the islands a 40% chance of tropical development over the next seven days.

The system is expected to stay south of Hawaii as it moves west.

Red Cross volunteers are staging in Hawaii on their way to support Typhoon Baby response in Guam and the cnmi.

Montana the deer Hollow Fire southeast of Darby is at 402 acres and 80% containment and the Lost Cabin Fire south of billings is at 305 acres and 60%.

Nevada the Dutch Flat Fire northeast of winnemucca is at 15,124 acres and 40% containment the grapevine Fire southeast of Caliente nears full containment at 26,464 acres and 99% and the parsnip Peak Fire northeast of Pioche is at 2,264 acres and 75%.

New Mexico the Sakaton Fire in the Gila Wilderness 15 miles east of Glenwood is at 9,349 acres and 11% containment, with 166 personnel assigned.

The community of Willow Creek remains in Joe evacuation status and New Mexico159 Bursum Road is closed between mile markers 12 and 22.

The Beehive and Macaulay Springs fires are both 88% contained.

North Carolina the Rose Bay Canal Fire southwest of Fairfield in Hyde county is at 662 acres and 83% containment.

Utah the Babylon Fire southwest of Monticello is the largest active wildfire in the country.

The passing 100,000 acres at 0% containment.

Five structures have been destroyed and the San Juan County Sheriff's Office holds zones CY1, CY2, Peters Hill West Airport Energy and SJC1 in set status, meaning residents should be ready to evacuate.

Hot dry conditions with humidity of 13 to 15% and a threat of dry lightning keep fire behavior very active.

The Cottonwood Fire east of beaver is at 95,934 acres and 56% containment and the Wild Goose Fire east of holden holds at 12,647 acres as containment climbs to 62%.

Washington firefighters report containment lines around the Chelin Hills Fire near arondo listed at 9,735 acres and 20% containment.

Level 3 GO evacuation orders remain in parts of Douglas County.

U.S. highway 97 is closed between mileposts 232 and 235, and a Red Cross shelter is open at the community gym in Chelin.

The nearby Navarre Coulee Fire southwest of chilin is at 845 acres and 80% containment.

Wyoming the Kinky Creek Fire in the Gros Ventre wilderness is at 880 acres and 87% containment.

The twin Creek fire southeast of Lander and the West Bridger Creek Fire southeast of thermopolis remain below 500 acres each and the new Wind Creek fire in Crook county is fully contained at 870 acres.

All other states have no significant updates in the last 24 hours.

Let's run through the Territories Guam Recovery from Super Typhoon Bavi continues under a federal emergency declaration.

The Guam Waterworks Authority reports 67 of 99 water wells back online on generator power with 28 wells still offline.

About 100 FEMA personnel are on the ground coordinating power restoration and life sustaining support, and the Coast Guard is working to reopen ports in Guam and the cnmi Northern Mariana Islands Governor David M. Apatang declares the all clear for Saipan, Tinian, Rota and the Northern Islands effective noon Tuesday.

Nearly 500 people remain in emergency shelters and Rota reports extensive damage after taking a direct hit from the storm with no injuries reported.

In the Commonwealth the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation begins power Restoration with Feeder1 Online on Saipan and portions of Tinian restored, including the Tinian Health center and the Tinian elementary school shelter.

About 240 federal responders are on Saipan.
