Host Rob ZImmerman welcomes Erik Boland, Newsday's beat writer following the New York Yankees. Topics discussed included MLB Spring Training opens and this is the second time they are dealing with Covid and the "new normal". Baseball is going from 60 games last season to a full schedule this year. We discussed the Covid protocols that all teams have to follow and what the expectations are to get in a full season. Last years shortened season could have a big impact on starting pitchers this year as they did not in the amount of innings they are used to and have to pitch that many more this year. The National League looks much stronger than the America League this year and they Yankees should be favorites to make it to the World Series.
