From a Full Cup is a mental wellness education podcast that teaches women to prioritize their wellness and put themselves first, because you can’t pour from an empty cup.
I'm your host Natalie Mullin , Certified Wellness Educator, Speaker, Facilitator and Teacher. Every Thursday I release a new episode, teaching women how to dream big, take action and move the needle forward in life.
[00:00:25] Natalie: women of Worth Conference and whoo, this event was fantabulous. Okay, just fantabulous and truly a community of like And I personally know Colleen and I've also seen her speak before. Actually, we both spoke at a wellness conference. So that's how I first met her. So I had an idea of her vibe and I had an idea of who she was and who she would attract.
[:
[00:01:36] Natalie: I feel like maybe I'd enjoy some of them but I'm just not sure of the energy of the people that would be there and I don't want to be in a situation where I get there and I realize like we're not quite as like minded as I thought we were and it's more than just being interested in wellness. Like that's not enough of a tie together for us to be in alignment with each other.
[:
[00:02:32] Natalie: I used to be a server there. And there was a group of women who came in and they had never met each other before. So it was kind of like a random meetup of like, women who just wanted to become friends with each other in the city. And I was like, Oh, okay. That's an interesting concept. Because I got none of them knew each other.
[:
[00:03:14] Natalie: And the rest of the group looked mortified. And again, this is just a misalignment in terms of behavior, in terms of decorum when out, in terms of what do you do when you're first meeting someone. And I'm pretty sure that group will never again be meeting, or you know what, I shouldn't say that. They probably will meet again.
[:
[00:04:13] Natalie: I'm not saying don't go to things because you have to try new things, but just go with discernment and with caution and also have an exit plan and be prepared to make a U turn and leave or cut, cut the visit short or just never go again, whatever, you know, depending on the situation. If you feel you get into a situation that is not an energetic alignment and match for you, because all it does is bring you down and pull you away from the life that you're trying to live.
[:
[00:04:58] Natalie: I hope it was helpful and until next time continue to serve yourself, your loved ones, and your community from a full cup.
