Prospecting gets SUCH a bad rap! Converting clients through reels, social media, posts and inside the DMs without a sales call has been ALL the rage for the past couple of years.
Although I’m present and consistent on social media with content and have been for the past six years, it’s far from my favorite way of marketing and selling.
And as business owners we KNOW marketing and sales has to happen every single day in order to thrive long term and continue to impact more people, expand our territory, and reach a level we’re truly capable of. It’s not happening by itself!
When you’re more experienced and have been around for a while, sometimes you can develop an attitude that assumes people should just buy from you because you’ve paid your dues and you’re awesome. I definitely got a little caught up in that the past few years.
