Shownotes
On this podcast episode, we discuss the miracle Jesus performed when he healed the Canaanite woman's demon possessed daughter (Matthew 15:21-28). This Canaanite shows us that there are benefits to persistence and proximity. When she cleverly responded to Jesus that even the dogs benefit from crumbs falling off the master's table, Jesus saw her faith and rewarded her. In doing so, Jesus reinforced the idea that any blessing is still a good blessing and that being near to those who are blessed or receiving blessing can be a reward unto yourself. This miracle also informs us that as blessed children of God, we can be a blessing to anyone around us. I encourage you to share a blessing you received with someone near you this week. "Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you." Luke 6:38
