Speaker A:

Lisa, first question is for you.

Speaker A:

Skims and Nike recently announced a collaboration, and some in the fashion industry are speculating that it could be the early signs of an acquisition.

Speaker A:

Would you be for or against Nike's acquisition of Skims?

Speaker B:

Look, I don't think my personal opinion is Nike doesn't need to acquire it because it's not a collaboration.

Speaker B:

Right.

Speaker B:

If you read the fine print, it's actually a brand.

Speaker B:

So what they're doing is they're gearing up to set up the next Jordan brand.

Speaker B:

If this works, it's brilliant.

Speaker B:

I think on Nike's part and on skims part, I think they could set up an acquisition, but I think it would be a distraction.

Speaker B:

So I don't think they need to acquire.

Speaker B:

I think they need to build this separate Nike skims brand.

Speaker B:

And I think it is one hell of an innovative play on Nike's part to go after the women's business.

Speaker B:

I'll just say I had this idea three years ago and sad I didn't execute it.

Speaker C:

Oh, oh, right, right.

Speaker C:

When your previous employer.

Speaker C:

Wow.

Speaker C:

One plus one equals three.

Speaker C:

That's a really great take.

Speaker C:

All right, David, the penny may soon be going away.

Speaker C:

First question, how much will you miss it?

Speaker C:

And second question, what will you plan on throwing into a fountain to make a wish instead?

Speaker D:

What's a penny?

Speaker D:

Like a.

Speaker D:

I'm, like, vehemently opposed to carrying any kind of change, so.

Speaker D:

No, yeah, me too.

Speaker D:

Miss it in the slightest.

Speaker D:

But I think if you're going to make a wish, you know, throw a Susan D.

Speaker D:

Anthony or something like that.

Speaker D:

A wish should be something big.

Speaker D:

So invest a little bit of money, man.

Speaker D:

Throw it.

Speaker D:

You know, throw at least a quarter, you know.

Speaker D:

You know, silver dollar in.

Speaker D:

You know, if you're gonna wish, wish big.

Speaker C:

Yeah, there's inflation.

Speaker C:

The cost of wishes should go up, too.

Speaker C:

Right?

Speaker A:

You know, that's exactly.

Speaker D:

It's not like I'm wishing for, you know, you know, McDonald's fry.

Speaker D:

I'm wishing for, you know, genie's gotta pop out of a bottle, man.

Speaker D:

Come on.

Speaker A:

I love that inflation is impacting the cost of wishes.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Let's go to question number three.

Speaker A:

Back to you, David.

Speaker A:

Coca Cola has launched Simply Pop, a new prebiotic soda that's com set up to compete with Poppy and Olipop.

Speaker A:

Rank your favorite sodas.

Speaker A:

They don't have to be a prebiotic soda, but rank them, please, from one to three, one being the best.

Speaker D:

This is a bad question for me.

Speaker D:

I'm not really a soda drinker.

Speaker C:

Yeah, you're not A soda guy, Are you?

Speaker D:

No, but, like, if.

Speaker D:

If I had to have a soda, I'd have a Coke.

Speaker D:

Like just a, you know, kind of.

Speaker D:

And probably a Coke Zero.

Speaker D:

But what I do love, and you know, I'll take this a little off topic, is all of the new adaptogenic and non alcoholic cocktails, okay?

Speaker D:

An Athletic Brewing or a Pete Dill or Brez or any of those.

Speaker D:

Like, they're all good, and I think they're all killing it.

Speaker D:

I think Coke's way late to the game on this one.

Speaker D:

You know, they failed with.

Speaker D:

Aha.

Speaker D:

I think they'll fail with this one.

Speaker D:

They're just not.

Speaker D:

Yeah, they're just too late, slow to pull the trigger.

Speaker C:

Okay.

Speaker C:

All right, last one, Lisa.

Speaker C:

SNL celebrated its 50th anniversary this past weekend.

Speaker C:

Who in your mind is the greatest SNL cast member of all time?

Speaker C:

And there may or may not be a right answer here.

Speaker B:

I mean, I think by far and away for me, it's Gilda Radner.

Speaker B:

I think she is unassuming.

Speaker B:

Like, she could do every skit every time.

Speaker B:

I think Adam Sandler said it best in his song rendition.

Speaker B:

The first did it best.

Speaker B:

I mean, you could pick any one of those five firsts.

Speaker B:

But Gilda got a special place in my heart.

Speaker B:

So I just think she was unassuming and hilarious.

Speaker C:

All right, David, what's yours?

Speaker C:

And I'll go to you too, David, what's yours?

Speaker D:

You know, there's so many good ones.

Speaker D:

It'd be tough to choose between, you know, Hayter or Phil Hartman.

Speaker D:

But I'm, I'm a Dana Carvey guy when I watched it the most.

Speaker D:

And, like, you know, the church lady is still one of the great characters of all time, so.

Speaker C:

Nice, Ed.

Speaker A:

Oh, I gotta say, Farley, I mean, he was really like, I related to him because of his Midwest roots, and I just thought, like, he was.

Speaker A:

With the amount of passion that he put into every single character that he portrayed, I think you got to give it to Farley.

Speaker C:

Farley.

Speaker C:

Wow.

Speaker C:

So Farley Radner Carvey.

Speaker C:

Mine's.

Speaker C:

Mine's Hartman.

Speaker C:

Mine's Hartman.

Speaker C:

I thought Hartman was.

Speaker C:

He was just incredible.
