Steve Sansweet has one of the biggest Star Wars collections in the world and now he’s sharing what does Star Wars mean to him! In 1977, Steve was working as a journalist for the Wall Street Journal when a night at a preview screening of a movie simply called Star Wars changed his life! Steve relates stories form the early days of Star Wars fandom, including his first promotional material find, picking up Kenner toys and the wily vinyl caped Jawa, writing books for Lucasfilm and becoming a Lucasfilm employee, his massive Star Wars memorabilia collection, Rancho Obi-Wan being in Guiness Book of World Records and Saga Museum of Star Wars Memorabilia and of course, his Five with the Force!

Stephen J. Sansweet is the chairman and former president of Rancho Obi-Wan, a nonprofit museum that houses the world's largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia. Prior to his retirement, Sansweet was Director of Content Management and head of Fan Relations at Lucasfilm Ltd. for 15 years, and remains Fan Relations Advisor for the company. He is author or co-author of eighteen books, sixteen of them about Star Wars. After Sansweet relocated to Northern California to be closer to his new office at Skywalker Ranch, he bought a former chicken ranch and refurbished its barns to house his collection. The property was renamed Rancho Obi-Wan. In September 2013, his collection of an estimated 300,000 items was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as being the largest of its kind in the world.
