Shownotes
I’m joined this week by a badass community builder and friend of mine, Chanel Sonego. Chanel founded the national networking group, LEVEL, from her craving to find a no bullshit group of business owners that she could relate to. She also has a marketing strategy firm based in San Diego, CA where she and her team help small business owners develop and implement strong marketing strategies, and recently launched her podcast, Cha Cha Sips, where she explores the struggles that a group of entrepreneurs would talk about over several cocktails with little inhibition.
In this episode, we dive into the importance of creating community, whether that’s through our business or surrounding ourselves with the right community on a personal level; and also how Chanel keeps moving forward when the imposter syndrome or overwhelm comes up. She shares how powerful it can be to start small when creating community and how that can create a strong ripple effect, how she maintains a level of intimacy as her company and community expands, and then we wrap it up by explaining why it’s critical to consistently aim higher to stretch ourselves and shatter our limiting beliefs of what's possible.
