So I noticed two new features that we have on Gmail.

MEL:

I don't know if you have noticed them, but I would like to show

MEL:

you how anybody could use them.

MEL:

Not only marketing people or content creators, but anybody in the organization

MEL:

can benefit from these two features.

MEL:

This is a new one in which you are able to send the same email to different people.

MEL:

Without them knowing this new feature allows us to add up to 1500 recipients.

MEL:

That's a lot of people.

MEL:

Hello YouTube.

A and this is my first time on the channel.

MEL:

I'm very excited to be here sharing with you today.

I'm a knowledge manager at Solution State.

I do social media content and I also um, manage the knowledge

That's a lot, right?

MEL:

Well, just a couple of days ago I noticed.

MEL:

Two new features that we have on Gmail.

MEL:

I don't know if you have noticed them, but I would like to show

MEL:

you how anybody could use them.

MEL:

Not only marketing people or content creators, but anybody in the organization

MEL:

can benefit from these two features.

MEL:

Let's dive into them.

MEL:

Okay, so here We are in Gmail.

MEL:

We are writing a new email.

MEL:

Right at the bottom.

MEL:

You will notice that there are two new bottoms.

MEL:

Let's explore them.

MEL:

The first one are layouts.

MEL:

Whoa, what is this?

MEL:

Yes, you don't need a graphic designer anymore because Google has built

MEL:

in some templates into our email someone they're called call to action.

MEL:

Some are a little bit simpler without any images.

MEL:

Then these look like pretty cool announcements with a lot

MEL:

of color in the background.

MEL:

Or even Just simpler, just the title, maybe a button an image.

MEL:

And that's it.

MEL:

If you want to customize it, you can, you can add your logo.

MEL:

I have added so let's just say logo in here from my drive.

MEL:

Also I can customize my brand colors.

MEL:

I click here on the plus button and then paste my hex color.

MEL:

And there it is.

MEL:

Everything should be green.

MEL:

Now I can customize my fund also Sarah or something a little bit

MEL:

chunkier or a little bit rounder.

MEL:

In our case, we're just going to stick with this one that looks

MEL:

a little bit similar to the one that we use at Solution Site.

MEL:

Then at the footer I added Solutions Aid business.

MEL:

Mailing off address.

MEL:

that's the one that I'm going to leave.

MEL:

And in the links, these are pretty cool.

MEL:

You can choose, just maybe.

MEL:

An email in here or your Facebook link.

MEL:

In my case I added solution save so.com.

MEL:

That's our homepage.

MEL:

Then the YouTube channel chasms Twitter, just in case you don't

MEL:

follow him, go follow him now.

MEL:

And you can add as many as you like.

MEL:

Just make sure that you choose the category because, and

MEL:

you will see why in a minute.

MEL:

Let's say the change.

MEL:

Now you can see that everything is very green, so aid green.

MEL:

So I'm going to use this one, and here it is.

You will see that.

MEL:

so aid logo appears on the header, and now I'm going to customize the title.

MEL:

So I'm going to call it newsletter just for.

MEL:

Okay.

MEL:

I want them to be my email subject as well.

MEL:

Okay.

MEL:

I can change the font of this title.

MEL:

Let's add one with Sarah.

MEL:

Then the beautiful copy should go in here.

MEL:

And then this button, you could either leave it or remove it.

MEL:

You can change where is it directing to?

MEL:

Maybe you have a form that you want people to fill out, or maybe you have

MEL:

a blog that you would like people to read after what you have offered or.

MEL:

Wherever you want to direct them.

MEL:

And also you can add another image.

MEL:

You can change your image for something related to your product or

MEL:

whatever you are communicating about.

MEL:

In this email this one has more images and more descriptions.

MEL:

Make sure that you update them okay with your content.

MEL:

And then you have an option of a second button.

MEL:

If you don't wanna leave it, you can remove it or just change it.

MEL:

As you can see down here, we have the links or the buttons that will

MEL:

direct us to the links that we added.

MEL:

This is our website, our YouTube channel, and cast's Twitter.

MEL:

And then our footer is the address that we.

MEL:

Okay.

MEL:

Now second feature.

MEL:

Pretty cool, right?

MEL:

Click here on the little envelope.

MEL:

And this is a new one in which you are able to send the same email to

MEL:

different people without them knowing.

MEL:

We used to do this in a BCC mode but then you would lose track of

MEL:

who have you sent it to, et cetera.

MEL:

But in this case this new feature allows us to add up, to 1500 recipients.

MEL:

That's a lot of people.

MEL:

A lot of people.

MEL:

So I'm going to add it as myself.

MEL:

I am going to add myself as a recipient.

MEL:

Here it is.

MEL:

And then we are okay.

MEL:

Every person will receive a copy of this email personalized because it doesn't say,

MEL:

for everyone that they'll see all of the email addresses, just the one for them.

MEL:

And that's it.

MEL:

If you don't have to twitch anything else, let's click on continue.

MEL:

it should say that I have not changed either the text or

MEL:

the images, and that's okay.

MEL:

I am aware of that.

MEL:

Okay, I could either send myself a preview and that'll be in my inbox

MEL:

before I blast it to everyone else.

MEL:

I recommend doing this, definitely.

MEL:

I have already tried it and it's really good, but in this case, I'm

MEL:

just going to say send it to all.

MEL:

I am aware that I have not updated my links, but this is a really good reminder.

MEL:

Follow clicking send.

MEL:

Same with the images.

MEL:

I am aware that I did not personalize them.

MEL:

So let's take a look really quick at some other templates

MEL:

that I sent myself earlier.

This is another one, different colors.

MEL:

The text is still the same because it's just a plain one but it

MEL:

still has the header and this one.

MEL:

This one doesn't have images.

MEL:

It's just text.

MEL:

You can customize it as you wish according to your needs.

MEL:
