Leila Chiddick, a first-time visitor to Tokyo from UCLA and the daughter

of a longtime friend, discusses her upbringing, education, perspectives

on diversity and microaggressions, her decision to attend UCLA, the

Apart from her academic pursuits, Leila is an equestrian, and her

dedication to caring for and training her thoroughbred has fostered
