A Beautiful Life – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. We are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. Proverbs 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!  We are on Day 1633 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Nishan Panwar, and it is: A beautiful life does not just happen, it is built daily by prayer, hard work, sacrifice, and love.

A Beautiful Life

There is somewhat of a universal standard of a person considered beautiful from an external standard in general terms.  Let me ask you, have you ever met a person, who externally thought was beautiful, but once you became acquainted with them, your perspective of their beauty changed significantly? I am positive that each of us has had that same experience. While certain physical features lend themselves to external beauty of face and body, a beautiful life has little to do with outward beauty.  A beautiful life does not happen by accident. It is intentionally formed by the decisions a person makes on how they will live their life. Just like the law of planting and harvesting is true and unchangeable, a beautiful life is a result of cultivating daily prayer, hard work, sacrifice, and love. In other words, when we follow the precepts found in God’s Word. Regardless of whether you are considered outwardly beautiful, which is ever fleeting, inward beauty is what we should pursue through our lives.  The following passage gives us the pattern for a beautiful life.

Colossians 3:11-13

In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us. Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
