Laurel musician Glenn Jochum joins Gianna Volpe on the WLIW-FM Heart of The East End HOTsounds segment underwritten by Sag Harbor Cinema ahead of The Earthtones show tonight 6 to 9 p.m. at Stonewalls Restaurant, located on The Woods golf course. Glenn tells us about his career in journalism and public relations, how he became a musician and we hear the last song he wrote in 2008 with Earthtones partner, Rick Hall—One of two songs they collaborated on over a span of 35 years—The Great Pickle Works Disaster recounting a train wreck that took place in Calverton in 1926, which killed six people bound for Shelter Island.
