The battle for the mind is real! Especially the moment we give our lives to Christ. Jesus never said this walk would be easy. Thank goodness we have the Holy Spirit to guide us and His Word. Follow along for the scriptures that have helped me in times when my mind mostly needed His peace. I pray this blesses you.
All right, you guys.
2
:Welcome back to another
episode of I Can't, He Can.
3
:This is going to be a little
bit different, kind of going
4
:back to the beginning per se.
5
:I told you guys that I was going to
be taking a little hiatus, a week
6
:to just kind of gather myself really
spiritually, 'cause sometimes we
7
:have to take a step back and really
focus on what it is that we need.
8
:life sometimes requires us to slow down.
9
:and I have really been feeling that in
my heart lately, and the more that I do
10
:things and I don't listen and I continue
with the day-to-day routine and I just
11
:do more than I should be doing, the
more I continue to be pointed back to
12
:the fact that God wants us to be still,
quite literally how His word says.
13
:and that doesn't mean that you
have to just drop everything and
14
:disappear, and fall off the face of
the earth, stop talking to people.
15
:That doesn't mean that.
16
:To be clear, m- in my opinion, as I always
say, in my humble opinion, I think that
17
:we just sometimes have to weigh what it
is that is going to benefit us, that will
18
:lead us to continue to walk with Christ.
19
:Now, I say that because sometimes
when we're tired and when we're
20
:exhausted, me for example, we lash out.
21
:We can get frustrated.
22
:this was me for a very
long time with my children.
23
:I know that I've said that open
and honestly here on the podcast
24
:that I was, like, borderline
verbally abusive to my children.
25
:not physically, but I
didn't even realize that.
26
:I didn't even truly realize the depth
and the seriousness of how mentally
27
:burnt out I was, and also physically.
28
:You know, also 'cause of, like, my whole
MS stuff, which I don't really, like,
29
:put too much weight on that anymore
per se now that it's not there, but
30
:I just don't pay any mind as much.
31
:But anyway, I digress from that.
32
:Point is that we don't realize sometimes
how mentally burnt out we are, and then
33
:we lash out, or we talk back, or we give
attitude, and just all these things that
34
:little by little keep us away from God.
35
:And even though we may still pray,
we may have those, like, five-minute
36
:prayers as we're driving, I'm not
condoning this but I'm just saying
37
:'cause it's the reality, sometimes
we'll just not even want to pray.
38
:we are just so done and so tired with
the world that we don't want to pray.
39
:And again, since last week that I had
mentioned, on my Instagram I said that I'm
40
:gonna take a week hiatus and not post last
Monday's episode, which is this one that
41
:just passed, obviously if you're seeing
this, this is me not in a hiatus anymore.
42
:but again, I just needed to take a
pause, collect myself, and continue.
43
:And if I'm being honest, this
is not the Sound Mind series,
44
:chapter five of Revelation.
45
:This is just, talking about
our minds, and praying over our
46
:minds, and staying grounded.
47
:I really think that that is- The
topic of this video, if you can't
48
:tell already, completely winging it.
49
:The only thing that I have prepared
are scriptures that really stuck
50
:out to me, in this past week, and
I wanted to share it with you.
51
:you know, deep down, you may be
watching this, but the reality is that
52
:I'm a woman, 35, almost 36, with a
full-time job, two children, married, a
53
:household, and I'm sitting in front of
a computer and I'm talking to myself.
54
:That's the reality.
55
:but deeper than that, in my heart, in my
mind, see it as, you know, whatever you
56
:will see it as, I believe to my core that
the Lord implanted in me a want and a
57
:need to share how He has, has changed me.
58
:And we just had our year,
anniversary, praise the Lord.
59
:a year from now, even saying, "Praise
the Lord," when He deserves the praise,
60
:felt a little uncomfortable to me.
61
:and that just goes to show
how He's worked in me.
62
:and I want to share that.
63
:I want to share that, and to some extent,
like I was saying, I feel like I was
64
:chosen, not to do anything special, change
the world, make a huge difference, or,
65
:do something life-changing for thousands
of people, or maybe even hundreds.
66
:I'm just a girl, like I said, sitting in
her room talking to herself, but declaring
67
:the life that Jesus Christ can give you.
68
:Declaring.
69
:Declaring because it is fact
that He changed my mind.
70
:He changed my mind.
71
:He spoke to me in a way that only
He can speak, in a way that silences
72
:the world and quite literally
just pauses everything around you.
73
:And through the Holy Spirit, little
by little, 'cause it did take time,
74
:little by little, truly revealed to
me the things that I had to remove.
75
:and not just people, but also things,
also actions, my own way of being.
76
:And, it's hard.
77
:It's a journey for sure.
78
:It's a lifelong journey, which is why the
Bible says that we must endure to the end.
79
:It's a lifelong journey.
80
:but He quite literally, by changing
my mind and showing me how wretched I
81
:was, in that I saw how much He loved
me and how many a times He saved
82
:me without me actually receiving
already salvation at that time.
83
:Before I believed the gospel, before
I, I even knew what the gospel was
84
:And I've even said that to my shame,
like my pastor says, I love that.
85
:to my shame, 'cause it's true,
how shameful that I didn't
86
:even know who Jesus was.
87
:I knew who God was.
88
:Yeah, I heard of Jesus, and not
to, like, blaspheme or make fun of
89
:that at all, but I had no idea who
Jesus Christ was and what he did.
90
:Yet here I was, going to church for
a few months to then only finally on
91
:my own be nudged and read the Gospel.
92
:So I say all that to say that
that same way that He spoke to me,
93
:He brought people into my life,
that nudged me to go to church to
94
:learn of Him, He changed my mind.
95
:And with that, He did a work in my heart.
96
:Slowly, taught me how to listen more,
'cause that's one of my problems.
97
:I speak too much, I do too much,
and I don't stop and stay still,
98
:and I certainly don't listen enough.
99
:I acknowledge that, and
I'm working on that daily.
100
:David one day will have to come on here
and give you an update on how I'm doing.
101
:Um, but the reality is that He
spoke to me and changed my mind,
102
:and in turn has healed many things.
103
:Still working on healing many things.
104
:But because, because, and
here's, here's the kicker.
105
:But because the mind is being healed and
changed and transformed, like my heart
106
:and everything else in my life, here comes
107
:The S word or the E word.
108
:I don't even wanna talk about him.
109
:He does not deserve any
honorable mention, only Jesus.
110
:The one that fell, let's
just leave it at that.
111
:But here comes that person or that thing
that deserves no honor, and that thing
112
:tries to get you every day, tries to
get you every single day, and tries to
113
:pick at you like a bully, picking at
you like a bully, and pulling on the
114
:strings that he knows will get you to
grieve God, and to grieve Jesus, and to
115
:grieve the Holy Spirit that resides in
you because you believe in Jesus and the
116
:gospel and what he did on that cross.
117
:So the mind is the most important
thing that we need to protect.
118
:that's why I took that break.
119
:Not 'cause there was anything
going on in my mind per se.
120
:I have for the past few weeks
not really been sleeping well.
121
:again, nothing in specific,
but my mind was just racing.
122
:Racing, can't shut down, having
trouble just finally falling asleep.
123
:that has gotten a bit better, I will say.
124
:Has gotten a bit better.
125
:Some days more than others.
126
:but for like a week, the week before
I took that hiatus, that week I just
127
:probably slept like three hours a night.
128
:so we must protect our minds.
129
:And then also to point out, funny
enough, and I, I really feel like
130
:the Lord just ministers to the people
around us to give us the messages that
131
:we need, our pastor, Pastor Edward,
from our church, Living Upward, which
132
:you guys should tune in on YouTube
because it's just wonderful, He actually
133
:also mentioned about our complaining.
134
:And we complain for everything,
everything, everything, and it's a
135
:mindset, and he pointed that out as well.
136
:And it wasn't like a TED Talk type,
exhortation or anything like that.
137
:It just a side conversation
from the scripture that he was
138
:reading in Ephesians, Ephesians
chapter one, and it just…
139
:It came about, and he pointed
it out, and it's very true.
140
:When we are not in that right godly
mindset and we are protecting our minds,
141
:we are just so easily, steered away.
142
:and because I already had that in my
mind for that past week, that I just
143
:had to be still, I wanted to point
that out because it's not a TED Talk.
144
:It's not like an aesthetic
thing that you see online now.
145
:Like, oh, you have that boss babe
mindset or that go-getter mindset.
146
:No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
147
:Nothing in this world is about
riches, is about any of that.
148
:It's our…
149
:It's, it's about God.
150
:It's about Jesus, and it's about what He
did for us to wash us of our sins, and
151
:reconc- reconcile us back to the Father.
152
:So anyway, guys, it's
just, it's not that hard.
153
:It's not that hard.
154
:It's not that crazy.
155
:And we, we truly, truly, truly just need
to circle back And keep things simple.
156
:Keep things simple, focus on our
priorities, focus on our homes, on
157
:our spouses, on our children, and
most importantly, focus on the Word.
158
:Focus on the Word, reading.
159
:Even if you don't know
where to start, just open.
160
:Just open and start somewhere,
because the more we read, the more
161
:we build a relationship with the
Father, and we get to know, we get
162
:to know who He is through His Word.
163
:and it all starts with our minds.
164
:It all starts with our minds, and
little by little, we eventually
165
:just build that want and that need
because we have that relationship,
166
:and we have that set foundation,
with wanting to get to know who God,
167
:and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are.
168
:So in this week, I was
doing a lot of reading.
169
:honestly, very proud of myself.
170
:I've just had that, like,
want to just continue.
171
:and one of the things that I have been
getting better at is reading daily
172
:Psalms and Proverbs, which is easy.
173
:That's an amazing way to start
in your Bible journey if you
174
:don't know where to start.
175
:And, one of the scriptures that I actually
read and shared in, our church ladies
176
:group and even the Sound Mind, Bible study
roup was this one here, Psalm:
177
:And I don't know why this spoke
to me so much, but it has been
178
:part of my daily prayers now.
179
:and I hope and pray that it's
something that you guys can
180
:include, too, because it's…
181
:First of all, it's a beautiful Bible,
Bible verse, but second of all, it is
182
:such- A true and simple prayer that we
should all be asking for ourselves and for
183
:everyone around us, and it's Psalm 51:10.
184
:And it says, "Create in me a
clean heart, O God, and renew
185
:a steadfast spirit within me."
186
:Like I said, this week I
really needed that break.
187
:I'm gonna move this here as
I have the scriptures ready
188
:for you guys in my computer.
189
:but this week I really needed that
break, and man, what a time, what a time
190
:for me to come across that scripture.
191
:It just, it bounced off of the page.
192
:It truly did.
193
:It bounced off of the page, and
immediately, like, I paused, and I hate
194
:now grabbing my phone while I'm reading
scripture and sending it, but I, I had to
195
:because I didn't wanna lose, like, that
momentum in the moment and, and share it.
196
:And, like, my mind was, again,
just racing, but in a good way.
197
:And renew the steadfast
spirit in us, Lord.
198
:Give us a clean heart, clean mind.
199
:Like, what more can we ask for than
having clean hearts and clean minds?
200
:Again, I'll repeat it.
201
:Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a
clean heart, O God, and renew
202
:a steadfast spirit within me."
203
:And that's just beautiful.
204
:It's just, m- honestly, it's, like,
one of my favorite scriptures now.
205
:But that scripture reminded me of the
scripture that gave me the idea for
206
:the Sound Mind series, which obviously
is exactly what it is, sound mind,
207
:because God gives us a sound mind.
208
:When does He give us a sound mind?
209
:When we seek Him.
210
:If we ask Him, if we pray
to Him, He gives us rest.
211
:can't remember that scripture right now.
212
:It's not one of the ones that I had
ready, but I know that it says it
213
:in Matthew, that His yoke is easy.
214
:"Come to me all who are," Oh my gosh.
215
:I have it like in my mind,
but I don't know the wording
216
:and I don't wanna butcher it.
217
:Let me look it up.
218
:So that scripture is Matthew 11:28,
"Come to me all who are weary and
219
:burdened, and I will give you rest."
220
:So that one I w- didn't have
planned, but anyway, it just
221
:came up, so I wanted to share.
222
:But just like the sound mind series
came up, He does give us rest,
223
:and this is one of my favorite
scriptures, and it's 2 Timothy 1:7.
224
:And this is a testament, before I
read it, this is a testament that He
225
:does in fact give us a sound mind.
226
:And when I read this the first time,
I was like, wow, He, He sure does.
227
:And this is also something that I
try to include in my daily prayers.
228
:So again, 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has
not given us a spirit of fear, but of
229
:power and of love and of a sound mind."
230
:So in this week, after I saw
that scripture in Psalms:
231
:I added that onto this prayer
about having a sound mind.
232
:And truly, reading the Bible does
almost feel like a form of therapy.
233
:Like, if I'm being honest,
talking to myself right now is
234
:a form of therapy for myself.
235
:I get to just say whatever is on my mind
and really just declutter everything
236
:that's, like, racing in there, right?
237
:but that's the same effect that
reading the Word and getting to know
238
:God and Jesus Christ and the Holy
Spirit through the Word provides us.
239
:so it's important.
240
:It's important that we find that rest in
the Word to help us get that clear mind
241
:and that sound mind because the world
is not going to give that to us at all.
242
:The world can provide us a
means to have money, 'cause the
243
:world does not give us money.
244
:God provides what we need, but we
can get that from the world, right?
245
:But the world is never going to give
us anything that's gonna give us
246
:true joy, happiness, or a sound mind.
247
:So it's important to be rooted in God and
focus, focus on getting our minds right.
248
:Another scripture that I had
ready for you guys was Second
249
:Corinthians chapter 10 verse 5.
250
:And this one says, "Casting down
arguments and every high thing that
251
:exalts itself against the knowledge
of God, bringing every thought into
252
:captivity to the obedience of Christ."
253
:Now, I wanted initially to read the
whole, lit- well, the first, like,
254
:paragraph in this chapter, chapter 10.
255
:I didn't wanna focus too
much on other things.
256
:Specifically, this one stuck out to
me because it's talking about bringing
257
:our thoughts into captivity and
taking it to the obedience of God.
258
:So if we know that God wants us to be in
prayer, if we know that God wants us to
259
:continue to seek Him, to do things right,
to focus on things of the heavens, and
260
:I believe I have another scripture that
talks about that, so I'll get to that one.
261
:But casting down arguments, the things
that lead us to get into an argumentative
262
:state that cause us, wrath, you know.
263
:For some reason now I can't think.
264
:Anger.
265
:I don't know why I thought of wrath.
266
:but things that upset us and cause us
anger, we need to cast those things down,
267
:and we need to be obedient and remind
ourselves that God wants us to just take
268
:those things captive and set them aside.
269
:and that's why I really wanted to just
read this to you guys, because I feel
270
:like it really solidifies and, like,
wraps it up with a little bow nicely.
271
:and we, we need to remember that sometimes
it's just, it's not worth getting upset.
272
:We need to just stay focused, like I said.
273
:but anyway, again, I'm
gonna read it one more time.
274
:Second Corinthians chapter 10 verse 5.
275
:"Casting down arguments and every
high thing that exalts itself
276
:against the knowledge of God."
277
:Okay, so if you know that these arguments
are gonna go against the knowledge of God,
278
:against what God wants for you, cast it.
279
:Cast it down.
280
:Tear it down.
281
:"Bringing every thought into
captivity," hold those thoughts
282
:captive, "to the obedience of Christ."
283
:I hope that made that very clear.
284
:so the next one that I'm going to read
is Philippians 4:8, and this is the one
285
:that I, I said that instead of focusing on
those argumentative thoughts, the things
286
:that make you upset, the things that anger
you, when you're in that moment, this
287
:is a very good verse to keep in mind.
288
:and it's the things that we should
be focusing on, the things that we
289
:should be seeking out, rather than
dwelling on the things that keep us
290
:in those dark and negative spaces.
291
:So Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally,
brethren, whatever things are true,
292
:whatever things are noble, whatever
things are just, whatever things are
293
:pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever
things are of good report, if there
294
:is any virtue and if there is anything
praiseworthy, meditate on these things."
295
:And in my Bible, I actually have, I
believe, like, those things in, like,
296
:a little square and highlighted, like
a little checklist, because it's true.
297
:Like, we're so quick to check things
off and put it in, like, a little
298
:negative box, but do we ever make
a list of pros, of good things?
299
:I don't think we do.
300
:I think we would rather just see the
negative, like outweigh good and bad,
301
:and if something is going to be bad,
then we'll just kinda leave it there.
302
:But what about good things?
303
:You know, and, and I'm gonna, I guess,
veer off for a moment and say that
304
:even in relationships, in marriages,
we're so quick to judge a person.
305
:We're so quick to see the things that a
person lacks, the physical appearance of
306
:a person, that we completely overshadow
the good things that they have.
307
:Like, I'm sure my husband looks at me
sometimes and is like, "Mm-hmm, I don't
308
:really like this or that or that."
309
:I mean, there's…
310
:There has to be something.
311
:There has to be something about
a person that sometimes you're
312
:like, "Mm, I don't know."
313
:So just imagine if you focused on
not casting down those arguments or
314
:those argumentative things, going
back to that 2 Corinthians verse-
315
:If you just focus on that kind
of thing and you didn't meditate
316
:on these good things, life
would be completely different.
317
:I'm pretty sure that that's the way that
we veer off of God's path, honestly.
318
:so the things that we should meditate on,
according to Paul, 'cause Paul is the one
319
:that wrote Philippians, the things that
we should meditate on are things that are
320
:true, things that are noble, things that
are just, things that are pure, things
321
:that are lovely, things that are good
to report, and if there is any virtue or
322
:anything that's praiseworthy in something.
323
:So we should really try to make
a list of those things instead
324
:of just focusing on the bad.
325
:I have four more scriptures for you guys.
326
:the next one that I have is Isaiah 55:8-9.
327
:Mm, I know you guys are
gonna recognize this one.
328
:This is a good one.
329
:It says, "For my thoughts are
not your thoughts, nor are your
330
:ways my ways," says the Lord.
331
:"For as the heavens are higher than the
earth, so are my ways higher than yours
332
:and my thoughts than your thoughts."
333
:Now, we must protect our
thoughts at all times.
334
:Sometimes we confuse things that are in
our mind for, and I'm guilty of this,
335
:for things that God may have spoken to
us, or maybe a seed that was planted,
336
:and we ask, "Is this of the Lord?"
337
:Listen, something that was very clear to
me, this past week, especially that week
338
:when I wasn't sleeping well, was that
if your thoughts are not bringing you
339
:peace, they are most likely not from God.
340
:And God's thoughts are thoughts that
are going to keep us focused, eyes
341
:on Him, and obviously away from sin.
342
:so that's just something that I wanted
to point out because I myself catch
343
:myself all the time praying and then
two days later thinking, "Oh my God,
344
:this is what I was praying about.
345
:Could this be God showing me this?"
346
:No, no, no, no, no.
347
:The enemy believes in God.
348
:The enemy also, like I said, knows
how to pull on your strings that
349
:will kind of try to steer you away.
350
:So you really, again, have to meditate
on the things that bring you joy,
351
:that bring you peace, all of those
things, so that you can then decide
352
:what actually is of God and what isn't.
353
:Don't let your mind be steered away.
354
:The next, verse that I have for you guys
is Romans 12:2, and it says, "And do
355
:not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind,
356
:that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God."
357
:I know this is also a very popular
verse, but just like myself, my
358
:mind, I feel, has been renewed.
359
:I no longer am conforming
to the world, or I…
360
:Let me, well, let me, let me roll back.
361
:I try not to.
362
:I really, really try not to, which is
why I think my family, for a, a good,
363
:well, still, not, not even a while.
364
:Well, my family probably thinks that
I'm so radical in my Christianity.
365
:No, I'm not radical in my Christianity.
366
:I just see.
367
:I just see how wrong I was about
so many things, and I choose Jesus.
368
:I choose God, and I choose to make better
decisions now because He died for me.
369
:He died for me.
370
:He forgave me of my
sins, and we still sin.
371
:We try and, we should try not to, and
I certainly don't want to conform,
372
:and I don't want to continue.
373
:I want to do better.
374
:It's the least that He deserves.
375
:And, it's, it's, it's just, it's
hard to continue to endure when
376
:people are always poking at you
and, going against the grain.
377
:You know?
378
:They'll probably say, "You're
going against the grain.
379
:You're going against the
world, what's normal."
380
:When did it become normal to be in sin?
381
:Like, it's just horrible.
382
:But anyway, that's a whole other
conversation that I don't wanna jump into.
383
:I'm very, passionate about that, so
I- I'm just not gonna dive in there.
384
:Today is about the mind, staying focused.
385
:And, yeah, it's just, it's hard.
386
:It's hard, but I will not conform to
things of the world, and you shouldn't.
387
:You shouldn't either, 'cause this
world, this world is gonna fade away.
388
:We will go along with it, and
the question is, where are you
389
:gonna be when that happens?
390
:It's a very important question.
391
:So second to last scripture is
Romans 8:6, and it says, "For to be
392
:carnally minded is death, but to be
spiritually minded is life and peace."
393
:Guys, I wanna point out again,
this is completely unscripted.
394
:And I'm thinking right now,
like my hands are like shaking.
395
:The fact that I just said right
now and I asked the question, where
396
:are you going to be when the world
fades away and we go along with it?
397
:I truly didn't remember.
398
:I've read so many scriptures
that I truly didn't remember
399
:this was the next scripture.
400
:And again, Romans 8:6, "For to be
carnally minded is death, but to be
401
:spiritually minded is life and peace."
402
:So when this world fades away, if you
are focused on things of the world and
403
:not conforming, not conforming to God,
404
:not doing things right, not believing what
He did on the cross for us, the Gospel of
405
:Jesus Christ, that will lead you to death.
406
:That will lead you to death, and
I don't wanna be on that side.
407
:I don't wanna be on that side.
408
:I wanna be so spiritually minded that my
future, no matter what today looks like,
409
:no matter what today looks like, my future
is going to be peace and eternal life.
410
:And that should be the
goal for you guys, too
411
:The last scripture that I have
for you is Revelation 21:6.
412
:I know that we are going to be doing
chapter five of the Sound Mind series.
413
:I haven't fully gotten through Revelation.
414
:but this next scripture really did,
stand out to me because I recall
415
:it talking about water and the
fountain of life and, and what we
416
:can expect if we endure to the end.
417
:and I wanted to share it with you
because, again, the world is fading away.
418
:Our bodies are withering away.
419
:Time is passing.
420
:We're getting older.
421
:Our children are growing up, and
what are we going to have to show
422
:for ourselves, the day that we pass?
423
:You know, we're gonna have to,
we're gonna have to answer, and
424
:we're gonna have to answer to God.
425
:And David says, you know, I've
learned from David, my pastor also
426
:says about we all have an account,
and when I stand there, I want my
427
:account to be as mended as possible.
428
:My account is not gonna be clean.
429
:My account is pretty filthy, guys.
430
:I'm being honest.
431
:I'm being honest, and
432
:I'm just so grateful that
I know I've been forgiven.
433
:I know I'm saved.
434
:and for that reason, I want to do better.
435
:I want to do better, and I
want that life and peace.
436
:So Revelation 21:6 says, "And
He said to me, 'It is done.
437
:I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End.
438
:I will give of the fountain of the water
of life freely to him who thirsts.'"
439
:And I thirst
440
:I am probably as thirsty as ever, and
that's not that worldly phrase thirsty.
441
:No, that, that's garbage.
442
:That's garbage.
443
:I want nothing of the world.
444
:I am thirsty for what God has
to offer, and not in a way that
445
:I only want to live in heaven.
446
:I don't wanna go to hell.
447
:No one wants to go to hell, okay?
448
:Nobody should wanna go to hell.
449
:But I am thirsty for that
peace that He offers.
450
:All the things that I can
imagine that are of the heavenly
451
:places, like Ephesians 1 says
452
:I want those things.
453
:I want peace now, here on Earth.
454
:I'm not gonna get peace because
my life is crazy with my children
455
:literally 80% of the day.
456
:That's okay.
457
:That's okay because I'm chosen as
their mother to steward them, and
458
:there's ways to go, and again, it's…
459
:I'm gonna have to answer for
how I'm teaching them, right?
460
:But I want peace, even here on
Earth, and you can make that peace.
461
:You can have that peace.
462
:You can grow that peace.
463
:But it all starts up here.
464
:It all starts up here,
and you have to seek God.
465
:He's there.
466
:He's waiting.
467
:And I know that I've said it, and I
know that Dagmara has said it, too.
468
:He's a gentleman.
469
:He's waiting at the door.
470
:He's waiting at the door for you to let
Him in, and He will sit at your table.
471
:And He will give you that rest.
472
:He will give you that peace.
473
:And what is most important, like my
pastor has been talking about for
474
:the past two weeks or so, I wanna say
specifically, 'cause that's what we're
475
:reading about, is that you will be sealed.
476
:Us believers that are not Jews, we
will be sealed with His Holy Spirit,
477
:and we will be saved, and we will one
day be reconciled back to the Father
478
:So I want that now.
479
:I want that seal, that promise.
480
:I want that peace.
481
:I want that joy.
482
:I want His Holy Spirit that already
resides in me, I wanna feel it even more.
483
:I want my children to feel that now.
484
:I wish I would've felt that
when I was their age, 5 and 11.
485
:But no, I felt it a year and a half
ago for the first time, and I feel
486
:it every day a little bit more.
487
:I feel it every day a little bit
more, and I'm feeling it even more
488
:The more that I understand my duties
as a wife and that I truly, truly read
489
:and understand what He wants from us.
490
:so I choose to take the break,
to slow down, to keep my mind
491
:and my eyes focused on Him and
492
:To just build upon this,
that He's given me.
493
:These videos, this life,
this home, this marriage
494
:This, job as a, as a parent.
495
:I wanna build on all of those
things in a godly way, and
496
:I can't do that without Him.
497
:I can only do it with Him, alongside Him.
498
:So thank you, guys.
499
:Thank you, guys, for listening.
500
:I pray that this has blessed you.
501
:I pray that you also have a clear mind.
502
:I pray that you have a sound mind
503
:And I pray that you just find it
sometime in your day to sit down
504
:and have that quiet time with Him.
505
:Even if you don't open your Bible yet, but
you just pray and you reach out to Him.
506
:I pray that for all of you.
507
:So until next time, we will be
continuing in the Sound Mind series.
508
:Thank you, guys.
509
:I love you all.
510
:Take care
