Ryan Collins PhD is the founder of After Your PhD, a website and passion project that helps academics explore careers outside of academia. He graduated from Indiana University in 2021 with a degree in Media Arts and Sciences. His dissertation involved interviewing evangelists and advocates at tech companies. Ryan began exploring careers outside of academia in 2020-2021 and chose the SEO and digital marketing field. Ryan was previously a SEO Analyst at Terakeet helping Fortune 500 clients and individuals with their brand reputation management in Google Search. With a passion for research and driven by curiosity, Ryan is exploring opportunities for growth and the ability to make an impact at an in-house company or a digital marketing agency as a SEO Analyst, Data Analyst, or a Analytics Consultant.
