Shownotes

Andy Denbow is a retired Infantry Marine Gunnery Sergeant. He spent 17 1/2 years in the United States Marine Corps and completed five deployments, one of which was to Fallujah, Iraq in November 2004. He is now a graduate student at Wayne State University studying social work. His goal is to research and advocate for veteran mental health policies and procedures to take care of our returning veterans from service.

Seth Allard is a USMC Veteran of OIF, and Citizen of the Sault Saint Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians (Ojibwa), and a recipient of the Deans Diversity Fellowship at Wayne State University. His focus is understanding the life cycle and development of chronic health disparities, the cultural and historical meanings of health disparities from an existentialist perspective. Seth approaches his studies with the goal of expanding and enmeshing the purpose and impact of social science and social work.

From serving in the United States Marine Corps in the Global War on Terror to graduate studies in social work, these... are Andy Denbow and Seth Allan's Battlefields.
