Show Notes:
We know that angels interpreted visions for Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah, and John. They stand ready as reapers and gatherers at the final judgment, surrounding Christ when He returns.
Today, let’s look at the angels’ activity at all times, in every moment, and beyond: They worship! Not themselves — they refuse it every time it's offered to them. THEY WORSHIP GOD ALONE!
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!"
Isaiah 6:1-3
The seraphim call out “Holy, holy, holy” around God’s throne. Scripture doesn’t tell us how many seraphim Isaiah saw. The word "glory" is used of God in his relationship to his creatures – “the whole earth is full of His glory!” The essence of deity is inscrutable, but something of his glory can be seen if God is pleased to reveal it.
HEAD TO HEART - Pause now and ask ourselves this question – Whose “glory” do I most desire? Do I share the Good News that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life?
The Lord alone is worthy of our worship, and the angels offer us a beautiful example. Let’s set aside time each day to worship Him.
