The salient point of this episode revolves around the profound impact of the Renaissance period and the advent of the printing press on the dissemination of the Christian faith. We delve into the transformative effects that these historical developments had on the church and believers, particularly emphasizing how the printing press enabled widespread access to the Bible, a pivotal shift that allowed individuals to engage with scripture on a personal level. The discussion also encompasses the broader implications of these changes on the course of history, including the eventual rise of the Church of England following the excommunication of King Henry VIII, which marked a significant transition in ecclesiastical power dynamics. Additionally, we explore the intricate connections between faith, exploration, and the socio-political landscape during this era, illustrating how these elements interweave to shape contemporary perspectives on faith and ministry. We encourage our listeners to reflect on these historical narratives and consider their relevance in today's context as we embark on the next phase of our exploration into the fifth age of the Church.

Welcome to the Kingdom Crossroads podcast today.

Speaker A:

We're so blessed that you're joining us for part three and the conclusion of a great interview with author Scott Wright, who's been teaching us about the fourth church age.

Speaker A:

And if you missed any of the preceding two days of episodes, you need to go back and catch up because I just don't have time to go back and cover all this information all over again.

Speaker A:

Today Scott's going to be sharing with us about how the Renaissance period impacted the church, impacted believers, and then the importance of the printing press and how that helped to spread the gospel across the planet.

Speaker A:

Praise God.

Speaker A:

This is so interesting.

Speaker A:

I mean, think about it, folks.

Speaker A:

Nobody had their own Bible until the printing press was invented.

Speaker A:

Now the Bible is the number one selling book in the world.

Speaker A:

Praise the Lord.

Speaker A:

There is a hunger for the word of God.

Speaker A:

And we're going to jump back into this interview now and the conclusion of this interview with Scott Wright.

Speaker A:

You mentioned about the, you know, is written one continuous scroll and yes, one letter is one letter.

Speaker A:

It wasn't broken up chapter and verse.

Speaker C:

No.

Speaker A:

And sometimes people lose track of that.

Speaker A:

And you know, and sometimes when I'm preaching and I'll, I'll be preaching on a certain topic and I'll tell them, you know, now skip, you know where it says chapter two, just skip over that and just keep reading it.

Speaker A:

Like it was one continuous thing, because it makes more sense.

Speaker A:

And I was just studying this.

Speaker A:

It's funny you mentioned this guy just.

Speaker A:

I was just studying this a few days back in Hebrews chapter one and chapter two.

Speaker A:

You know, I'll just go.

Speaker A:

Hebrews chapter one, verse, you know, 13.

Speaker A:

But to which of the angels did he ever say, at any time, sit on my right hand till I make your enemies your footstool?

Speaker A:

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who should be heirs of salvation?

Speaker A:

And that's where people stop.

Speaker A:

And then tomorrow they come back up and they pick up.

Speaker A:

Chapter two says, therefore we ought to give more Ernestine to things we've heard less than any time we let them slip.

Speaker A:

But that word, therefore, you have to back up to see what it's there for, right?

Speaker A:

And that's why I say it's just one continuous thought.

Speaker A:

And it makes so much more sense when we say, are they not all ministering spirits set forth to minister to them who are heirs of salvation?

Speaker A:

Therefore we should give more or certain things which we've heard less than any time, we should let them slip.

Speaker A:

You know, it's one continuous thought, but when chapter and verse are brought into it, it breaks it up.

Speaker A:

And it doesn't make, as it's not as powerful a statement.

Speaker A:

We'll put it like that, you know.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

So that's exactly what you're talking about.

Speaker A:

When you said that, it just made me think about.

Speaker A:

I just read.

Speaker A:

And that was the perfect example.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

I mean, you hit the nail on the head.

Speaker C:

And so there's some great things that come out.

Speaker C:

And this is part of that.

Speaker C:

These are some really good things that come out of this age of the church.

Speaker C:

And Jesus did not totally condemn every aspect of this church.

Speaker C:

You know, he did.

Speaker C:

There were some pluses as well.

Speaker C:

You know, there's some pros and cons here, which is in every age of the church.

Speaker C:

If you re.

Speaker C:

If you really read it and study it, there's pros and cons.

Speaker C:

However.

Speaker D:

He.

Speaker C:

He puts his foot down on this church, he's like, enough is enough.

Speaker C:

I've given you plenty of time.

Speaker C:

If you read verse 21, even though I have given her time to repent of her immorality, she is unwilling.

Speaker C:

That shows that he gave this church plenty of time.

Speaker C:

Well, this church is going to last literally a thousand years, this age of the church.

Speaker C:

the fall of Constantinople in:

Speaker C:

Is it to me is right on that same level of Martin Luther's 95 thesis because it's going to create an amazing change.

Speaker C:

While Constantinople is going to be taken over by the Muslims and the Byzantine Empire is going to fall and be destroyed.

Speaker C:

Basically.

Speaker C:

It's going to end it.

Speaker C:

It's going to lead to the age of exploration because it's going to cut off all the trade routes between east and west forcing.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Guys like Christopher Columbus to go east.

Speaker C:

Go west.

Speaker C:

To go east.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker C:

That's what it does.

Speaker C:

It changes how they do things, which is going to lead to the discovery of the Americas.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Now I will tell you, the Knights Templars were already coming over here, which also comes out of the sage of the church.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker C:

Yeah, they were already coming over here.

Speaker C:

They have a lot of evidence to show that it's not just conspiracy, they just weren't publicizing it.

Speaker C:

Christopher Columbus makes it a public spectacle and now all the Western European empires have to fight for these resources because they're fighting each other.

Speaker C:

They don't want to get.

Speaker C:

They don't want to let another country get the upper hand on them.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

And that's exactly what happens here.

Speaker C:

That competition leads to all of this.

Speaker A:

And he brought up something that I just want to reemphasize that, you know, when the fall account standard Nopal and all of the trade routes now passed through those areas to get to the, you know, the China and India and all that good stuff and now the Muslims were controlling it.

Speaker A:

You're either going to get.

Speaker A:

Pay high taxes or get robbed, you know, whatever you're trying to trade.

Speaker A:

They were taking it.

Speaker A:

It was that forced the kings and the queens and the nobles and all that from the countries in Europe saying, how are we going to get all these things we need, you know, from India and stuff like that.

Speaker A:

And that's, that's where the kind of.

Speaker A:

Well, you know, we can sail all the way around the Horn of Africa and you know, then you're dealing with pirates and all that good stuff over there, you know, and that's where.

Speaker A:

Well, you know, one day Christopher Club is just sitting there at the seashore and says, noticing the, as the ships come in, first you see the mass and then the sail and then the ship.

Speaker A:

He's like, this isn't flat, this is round.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

That's the horizon.

Speaker A:

Well, what's on the other side?

Speaker A:

Hey Queen, you know, give me some money and some ships and I'll go, I'll go to India that way.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And, and there were a Few people during that time that knew the earth was round and not flat.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

That already knew that.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

This just made that public.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Is what it did.

Speaker C:

I'm gonna say this too, and I think this is a big deal because you said what affects us in this modern era.

Speaker C:

From the Fourth Age, the Ottoman Empire will be established with the fall of Constantinople.

Speaker D:

Okay.

Speaker C:

That's.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

They're gonna.

Speaker C:

They're gonna overtake the Byzantine Empire and they're gonna destroy the Byzantines and run them out of Constantinople.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And Ottoman Empire is going to establish itself.

Speaker C:

Well, the Ottoman Empire is going to last.

Speaker C:

And this is so important.

Speaker C:

It's going to last until the end of World War I.

Speaker C:

What they held, what they will hold from this time period up until the end of World War I is Jerusalem.

Speaker C:

There's a document in night and we'll talk about this when we get to the seventh age of the church.

Speaker C:

In:

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

In November of:

Speaker C:

And in:

Speaker C:

Right before and through World War II, a lot of Israelites will.

Speaker C:

They'll either, they'll either go to England, basically, is where they went.

Speaker C:

England, United States and Israel.

Speaker C:

Because that land was now being established.

Speaker C:

Truman signs that document in:

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

And there's a lot of Israelites that start flooding in there.

Speaker C:

there'll be a. I think it's a:

Speaker C:

I can just scroll down on my timeline here that I have.

Speaker C:

But it.

Speaker C:

In:

Speaker C:

That's.

Speaker C:

That's a big deal.

Speaker A:

There's no test.

Speaker C:

They don't.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker C:

They're.

Speaker C:

If they're a Jewish descent, boom, they are automatically included into the land of Israel as a citizen.

Speaker C:

Automatic.

Speaker C:

And that happens in:

Speaker C:

So the biggest populations of people with the Jewish faith are United States, Great Britain and Israel.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

I mean, they are.

Speaker C:

And that's where they're most protected.

Speaker A:

And one thing that, you know, I, I through, you know, I like, I love history as well.

Speaker A:

One thing I was reading I.

Speaker A:

Camera.

Speaker A:

Whereas I was reading it or why.

Speaker A:

But they said that the Ottoman Empire, they were, you know, during World War I and then again World War II, naturally oil and things like that is very valuable.

Speaker A:

And the, they decided, well, we'll go ahead and get this oil that's down in the Middle east back up to Germany.

Speaker A:

So they were going to build these pipelines.

Speaker A:

Well, they went down and made a deal with the Ottoman Empire.

Speaker A:

You provide the labor and we'll pay you money.

Speaker A:

And they're like, oh, you want to buy oil?

Speaker A:

It's like, sure, we'll sell you oil.

Speaker A:

And that's.

Speaker A:

So when Germany lost the war, since the Ottoman Empire had side saddled up with, you know, Germany, then they were also considered, you know, you're part of the spoils of war.

Speaker A:

And that's what broke them up.

Speaker A:

And, and then Great Britain came in and, and, you know, took over the area and all that good stuff.

Speaker C:

But you know what allowed all that to happen?

Speaker C:

God, of course.

Speaker C:

Amen.

Speaker C:

But there's a guy by the name of John D. Rockefeller.

Speaker C:

Standard Oil.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

I always, I have to talk about this.

Speaker C:

I don't think people understand how powerful Standard Oil was.

Speaker C:

Matter of fact, the only other guy I, I actually think that J.P. morgan.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And John D. Rockefeller are as powerful and influential of figures in the United States as George Washington.

Speaker C:

I know a lot of people don't understand that.

Speaker C:

They don't, because those were political leaders and these guys were businessmen.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker C:

John, Standard oil controlled like 90% of the world's oil supply in the refineries until it was broken up in 19.

Speaker C:

I think it was:

Speaker C:

It was broken up right before World War I.

Speaker C:

Well, what you just said, talking about the Ottomans and the Germans.

Speaker C:

Yeah, that's because Standard Oil was broken up.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

That could be done.

Speaker C:

Now Rockefeller and Standard Oil were not controlling this anymore.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And that's what allowed it.

Speaker A:

But notice the time frames though.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

I mean, Standard Oil was so large, it was broken up into 34 companies.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker C:

And John D. Rockefeller just took stock in all of them and like doubled his net worth overnight.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

It was, it was crazy.

Speaker C:

But it was so large.

Speaker C:

But that is so significant.

Speaker C:

And JP Morgan, I mean, think of the significance of what he did.

Speaker C:

He's what made help make electricity and lighting become so mainstream because he had the power to make it work.

Speaker C:

He, you, he now, he bought off and used a lot of people to do it.

Speaker A:

Sure.

Speaker C:

And he, he manipulated that to make it to his advantage.

Speaker C:

And of course, he forms a company, General Electric, out of Edison Electric, because he holds the majority of shares of that company at that time.

Speaker C:

And he, he manipulates Westinghouse and Tesla And I mean, and Edison, I mean, he did what had to be done to get it to go and it went mainstream and it not only hit the United States, but then all Europe and.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

You know, and Great Britain and then Europe and all that.

Speaker C:

So you can go study that for yourself.

Speaker C:

Praise.

Speaker C:

This is a big deal.

Speaker C:

Yeah, it is, because it's going to lead to the modern era of warfare as well, including World War I and World War II.

Speaker C:

That will establish the Jewish nation.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

That will retake Jerusalem in:

Speaker C:

These technologies will affect that.

Speaker C:

Well, guess what?

Speaker C:

e dial it all the way back to:

Speaker C:

That will culminate in.

Speaker C:

In Jerusalem becoming.

Speaker C:

Or Israel becoming a nation and Jerusalem becoming under Israeli control again.

Speaker A:

And, you know, it just connects, sticking with the, you know, seemingly innocuous situations with this age of exploration.

Speaker A:

That's when, you know, the, the sheiks and all this stuff in Saudi Arabia started getting rich.

Speaker D:

Oh, yep.

Speaker A:

You're gonna buy oil from us?

Speaker A:

You wanna?

Speaker C:

Sure.

Speaker A:

You know, and that's what makes them so rich, which impacts that area.

Speaker A:

I mean, folks, this is not all haphazard stuff.

Speaker C:

No.

Speaker A:

These are things that God laid out from the foundation of the world.

Speaker A:

And it's on his timeline.

Speaker A:

These things happen.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker A:

thousands of years until the:

Speaker C:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Give it direction.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker C:

Well, and think about this.

Speaker C:

The gun came from China.

Speaker C:

It came around the same time period.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

All that.

Speaker C:

They had used gunpowder before and they used it in fireworks.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

Now they controlled it in the barrel of a gun.

Speaker C:

And that's how they brought down the Genghis Khan empire.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

The Mongols.

Speaker C:

Yeah, they were.

Speaker C:

They were brought down by the gun.

Speaker C:

And so that's what happened.

Speaker C:

And that actually happened during this same age of the Church.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

That all came in this time period there.

Speaker C:

I'm gonna just say this to all you listening.

Speaker C:

There's a lot of history here that you think is just ancient and like, doesn't have any impact.

Speaker C:

It all came from this time period is a.

Speaker C:

An explosion, an explosion of ideas and technologies that are foundational to what we have today.

Speaker C:

And that includes religious, political, technological.

Speaker C:

I mean, you think about it, what happens during this age of the Church politically, that leads to the Declaration of Independence, the Magna Carta.

Speaker D:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker C:

The Renaissance.

Speaker C:

These things will take shape during this time.

Speaker C:

Yeah, this fourth age of the church is a big deal and it is a foundational in the, the infrastructure of this age of the church is still in place today.

Speaker D:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker A:

You mentioned, you know, the impact of Columbus and all that.

Speaker A:

I was, you know, again, I love reading and stuff and they say Columbus was actually a Jew that was in hiding basically because of the persecution of the Jews and that, you know, most of his crew was made up of Jewish people.

Speaker A:

When he came over to America, they were, you know, they were, hey, Queen, you know, we'll go there and find you another route and stuff like that.

Speaker A:

But again, he and his crew were actually fleeing persecution, you know, so, you know, again, the persecution that Jews were undergoing ended up with the Western world being discovered.

Speaker C:

So, and I think I told you before you turn this on, and, and I've, and, and before, before we turn this on, before we started this podcast today, but there are a lot of events in here that I'm not even bringing up that a lot of you may know about or have studied that are influential during this time.

Speaker C:

And you just brought up one.

Speaker C:

I have never actually studied the religious beliefs of Christopher Columbus.

Speaker C:

I really don't know that.

Speaker C:

That's not something I've studied.

Speaker C:

I've just studied how he impacted or how the age of exploration and what his part in that was and obviously discovering Americas and things that I've never done an in depth study on Christopher Columbus.

Speaker C:

So I have absolutely.

Speaker C:

I'm not going to sit here and pretend that I know because I don't.

Speaker A:

It's been three or four years since I was reading about all that.

Speaker A:

But yeah, that was, it's amazing how, how all this stuff just happens to, you know, and then, you know, we talk about the pilgrims and, you know, all this stuff because they're fleeing the persecution.

Speaker A:

You know, I mean, all this stuff, folks, is in God's timing.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

And it didn't happen in, you know, 900 BC and it didn't happen in 900 AD.

Speaker A:

ll this stuff happened in the:

Speaker A:

Go figure, right?

Speaker D:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

Yeah, but Scott, this is a, this is so fascinating.

Speaker A:

I just keep on talking about this, but share with us how someone get, reach out to you and get more information on these topics.

Speaker C:

Well, first of all, I need to talk about the end of the age of this church.

Speaker D:

Okay.

Speaker C:

Really quick.

Speaker C:

And you'll need to, because this is important.

Speaker C:

And then, and then we will get into that as well.

Speaker C:

But just real, just to wrap up here, King Henry VIII is the key here.

Speaker C:

His, his shenanigans with him trying to have a son and having Anne Boleyn killed and then trying to do divorces and all this stuff eventually erupts into the Church excommunicating him.

Speaker D:

Right.

Speaker C:

What the Church probably didn't realize that they were doing at this time is they were flipping the ages of the Church.

Speaker C:

That was the key event.

Speaker C:

And this happens in:

Speaker C:

On December 17th.

Speaker C:

The Roman Church will excommunicate King Henry VIII.

Speaker C:

Now the church of England is on its own and completely separate.

Speaker C:

King Henry VIII had declared himself head of the Church of England.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker C:

Now we have a monarch in control of this.

Speaker C:

And England will become the dominating power in the world.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

If you want to go study something, study the influence of Britain from this time period on over world events and technologies and all the things that we have in this, in, in our lives.

Speaker C:

Britain is at the center.

Speaker C:

The United States.

Speaker C:

We are derivative of Britain.

Speaker C:

India, the way it's structured now is much a derivative of Britain.

Speaker A:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

54 common.

Speaker C:

If I'm not mistaken, it's 54 commonwealths.

Speaker C:

Called Britain its head of state.

Speaker C:

2.4 billion people.

Speaker C:

That is more than China or India.

Speaker C:

And India and United States are derivatives of the British Empire as.

Speaker C:

As it stands today.

Speaker A:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

That is the power of Great Britain, folks.

Speaker C:

And to not see that, that, that is the culminating event that flips the ages of the Church is not taking into account the immense influence of Britain.

Speaker C:

Even more so than Martin Luther.

Speaker C:

He kind of was that warning sign that this was coming and the Protestant Reformation and things starting to take hold.

Speaker C:

Because it was a big deal.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And that is a big deal in our faith.

Speaker C:

But this is all about a power shift.

Speaker C:

That's what flips the ages of the Church.

Speaker C:

And this is one.

Speaker C:

The Roman Church.

Speaker C:

I don't think they realized what they were doing here.

Speaker C:

And they literally.

Speaker C:

It showed the erosion of their power as Britain became the most powerful.

Speaker C:

Now it was not connected to the Roman Church.

Speaker C:

Now the most powerful entity is not connected to the Roman Church anymore like it had been.

Speaker C:

That power shift is the key element in all of this.

Speaker A:

During this time frame with the Church.

Speaker A:

I mean, they're accumulating wealth.

Speaker A:

I mean, they're making money over fist because, you know, monarchs and, you know, different countries had to get their blessing to be.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker C:

And think of all the money coming out of there.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

But that's going to stop.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Now the King of England says, you know, I'm not doing it no more.

Speaker C:

Think about, and think about this.

Speaker C:

Here's what they do, and this is important.

Speaker C:

,:

Speaker C:

And now the Church of England is on its own.

Speaker C:

But think about this.

Speaker C:

The King of England broke away from the Roman Church.

Speaker C:

England and its church will become the dominant power in the world, replacing the Church of Rome as that dominant power.

Speaker C:

April of:

Speaker C:

It's called the Great Bible.

Speaker C:

ble was authorized in June of:

Speaker C:

The six articles are released that explains the faith of the Anglican Church.

Speaker C:

The Church of England is now fully established, folks.

Speaker C:

That is powerful.

Speaker C:

They now write their own version of the Bible.

Speaker C:

They now have its own version in English.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

That relates to the Church of England, not the Roman Catholic Church.

Speaker C:

Excuse me, the Roman Church at that time.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

It's not.

Speaker C:

That is the vent.

Speaker C:

And of course, it's not going to go in a straight line.

Speaker C:

There'll be a revert back to, to the Roman Church and then back to the Church of England.

Speaker C:

And how that all works through.

Speaker C:

It's, you know, through the processes of basically the daughters of King Henry VIII and all the, you know, Bloody Mary and we get all of this stuff.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

All right.

Speaker C:

And you can go study that history on your own, but that's the trigger event that switches us to the fifth age of the Church.

Speaker A:

And I just want to bring this up.

Speaker A:

If you watched the coronation of King Charles iii, one of the ceremonies that they went through was when he accepted the crown of the Church of England.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker A:

He's the head of the Church of England.

Speaker A:

That's still happening today, folks.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker A:

We just seen it a few months ago.

Speaker C:

And just so you guys know, this is.

Speaker C:

This is where the, the power of Rome erodes.

Speaker C:

And now it's the power of Britain and all of the last three ages of the Church.

Speaker C:

The significant events that will trigger the change is going to come through Great Britain.

Speaker D:

Yep.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

And I will show you that when we do this in future episodes.

Speaker A:

Amen it is.

Speaker C:

I cannot understate that, first of all, the sun never sets on the British Empire.

Speaker A:

That's right.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

Think about that.

Speaker C:

And to.

Speaker C:

I mean, they were involved in all the important decisions made in the world during World War I and World War II.

Speaker C:

They're the only country that was involved in all the decisions made in both of those.

Speaker C:

World War I.

Speaker C:

You know, it's basically Britain and France World War II.

Speaker C:

It's Britain, the United States and Russia, or USSR back in the Soviet Union.

Speaker A:

The only Russia didn't come in until the end.

Speaker C:

Exactly.

Speaker A:

U.S. in the U.S. yeah.

Speaker C:

The land given to the Israelites was given to them by Britain.

Speaker C:

Balfour Declaration.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

So to not understand that is to not understand how history really is shaping through this age of the Church.

Speaker C:

Jesus told us how this was going to happen.

Speaker C:

Yeah, he does.

Speaker C:

He's talking to John here and he's showing us how this is going to happen.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

And you're right about next time.

Speaker C:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker C:

We'll dive into this a little bit more.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker A:

Give us a brief synopsis, what we'll be talking about next time.

Speaker C:

Oh, okay.

Speaker C:

So, yes, sorry, I didn't hear you correctly.

Speaker C:

We're going to get into the fifth age of the church.

Speaker C:

And so that fourth edge of the church lasted a thousand years from 538, when the Byzantines take Rome, the siege of rome starts in 537.

Speaker C:

we dial it down and we go to:

Speaker C:

That's a thousand years.

Speaker C:

Now we're going to talk about the 200 years of the fifth age of the Church.

Speaker C:

And this is going to be a time of global expansion.

Speaker C:

And it's also known as the Dead Church, partly because the Roman Church and its influence is dying off, but also because it's spiritually dead.

Speaker C:

And it really is.

Speaker C:

It's a spiritually dead church because it is all about human advancement.

Speaker C:

This, this time period is about human advancement.

Speaker C:

And folks, when we are talking about going back to what is our intended purpose in life, it is ultimately to glorify God.

Speaker C:

This is not an age that was done in a way that glorified God.

Speaker C:

It fits into God's ultimate plan.

Speaker C:

Yes, because it establishes things that will come later that will bring God's final plan basically to fruition.

Speaker C:

But this is not an age where God is being promoted in the way that God wants to be promoted.

Speaker C:

It's being done by human power.

Speaker C:

It really is.

Speaker C:

We're going to get.

Speaker C:

Matter of fact, if you go through.

Speaker C:

This is the age when slavery will be established in the United States during the Dead Church.

Speaker C:

I mean, well, slavery is kind of a form of dead.

Speaker C:

It really is.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker C:

And this is when it's established, you know, and it's.

Speaker C:

It's.

Speaker C:

And, And I can't really.

Speaker C:

I. I'll tell you, the age of the church I can't wait to talk about is when we get in from the 5th to the 6th age of the church.

Speaker C:

I love talking about that because it is much like the establishment right before the first stage of the church begins.

Speaker C:

It's a Pentecostal event.

Speaker C:

And so that gives you a little clue as to what's going to flip the fifth and sixth stage of the church.

Speaker C:

It's literally going to happen in one night.

Speaker C:

And it's amazing.

Speaker C:

It's just an amazing event.

Speaker C:

And I've read enough about it now to realize how important that event is.

Speaker C:

And we don't really talk about it, so.

Speaker C:

And it actually establishes a great spiritual movement that we still are trying to.

Speaker C:

That kind of.

Speaker C:

That movement that we're trying to recapture now today.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

And it's really a spirit of revival.

Speaker C:

It is.

Speaker C:

How can someone revival.

Speaker A:

How can someone obtain a copy of your book, God Centered Concept Journal, Making God's Ways My.

Speaker A:

My Ways.

Speaker A:

Is it on Amazon?

Speaker C:

Yeah, it's just on my Amazon.

Speaker C:

God Centered Concept.

Speaker C:

TS Right.

Speaker C:

T, like Thomas.

Speaker C:

S like Scott.

Speaker C:

Right.

Speaker C:

And that will give you everything you need.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

You can buy it in different sizes and I've got small versions, large versions.

Speaker C:

I like the large version.

Speaker C:

I. I like the letter, big letter size.

Speaker C:

But some people like the smaller.

Speaker C:

,:

Speaker C:

The process of that that I layer out in my, what episode five through ten of my podcast, the God center concept.

Speaker C:

But it allows me a lot of space to write.

Speaker C:

But some people like small versions, they just want to carry them and you know, women want to carry them in purses, whatever.

Speaker C:

So that, that's a great way.

Speaker C:

And I will tell you that my books that are going to come out about this as well as the things that are in my podcasts, they're going to be written more like almost study guide devotionals.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

That's how they're going to be written.

Speaker C:

I'm not going to write these like a narrative book.

Speaker C:

And I've decided to get away from that because I. I believe that the way people allocate their time and what they do is people want to be very purposeful with how they utilize time now.

Speaker D:

Yeah.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

And so narrative is more for audible, which I may narrate some of the books and do the.

Speaker C:

Do that.

Speaker C:

Do it in a narrative form on audible.

Speaker C:

I may do them in that way.

Speaker C:

So to give a narrative version of it as well.

Speaker C:

And so that's something else I'm thinking about doing and praying over at this point before I do it.

Speaker C:

But these are going to be written more in a devotional flow, so just to let you guys know what's coming.

Speaker C:

And I will.

Speaker C:

Actually, the my seven age of the church, what I'm going to write about on that is going to look like that was, well, praise the Lord, because, folks, the ultimate goal here is glorifying God through transformation in him, transforming us into his open vessels for his glorification.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker C:

It's about God and it's about glorifying his name.

Speaker E:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Folks, there's no doubt we are living in what Jesus and historical Christian scholars have called the end times.

Speaker A:

And we're working our way through each of the church ages in order to give you a more thorough understanding of how all this fits into what we're witnessing right now all around us.

Speaker A:

So we should not be in a state of fear and trepidation.

Speaker A:

We need to be excited.

Speaker A:

We need to be thanking God for the day and time in which we live.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Speaker C:

Well, hey, and I appreciate you, Bob, and thank you for having me on the show.

Speaker E:

Amen.
