Chubb done for Season Reaction
Bombo: Welcome back Islanders. It is officially the end of week two for the fantasy season, doubleheader Monday night, all in the books, some quick reactions on some things that went down today. Nick Chubb owner's bad news. Nick Chubb seems to be out for the year. Horrible injury. Everyone is hoping that he doesn't need emergency surgery.
We're not even talking about coming back anytime this year chubb's looking at multiple ligaments damaged in the knee. Um, dislocation. Didn't look good. Didn't even want to show the replay on TV. Tough break, but it looks like Jerome Ford is going to take the reins for the Cleveland offense.
Cleveland offense didn't look too good. Deshaun Watson looked real rusty out there. Shout out to Pittsburgh's D, which looked like they, they came to play, but Pittsburgh on offense looked horrible as well. Besides one big play, pick it to pick ins, um, they just, they can't find their offensive identity. So in Pittsburgh, it's looking like there may be a changing of the guard at running back.
As well, Nadja Harris is just running in cement shoes. Jalen Warren seems to be the more quick and shifty back. Nadja Harris is the better past protector. And for an immobile, Kenny Pickett, that's probably the best bet. So you're probably still looking at a timeshare.
Both of them are washed for fantasy purposes. I would look for Najee shows that he can. That RB one that you drafted him as. The other Monday night game saw the Saints versus the Panthers.
That one was kind of a stinker that looked like preseason week five. Derek Carr looked like the old Derek Carr for most of that game where he just wasn't sure about where he was going with the ball. He was just staring down his receivers for fantasy purposes. It looks good for michael Thomas looks good for Olave.
Even though Carr missed him a couple of times, Olave did show some great athleticism on a couple of long plays from Carr. I think the Saints are trying to find out who they are right now. Like I said, it's looking like preseason week five for both of these teams on a positive note for the Carolina Panthers.
Adam Thielen looks like a target monster and he looks to be Bryce Young's favorite target. His security blanket, I wouldn't trust anybody else in that offense. Miles Sanders RB3, maybe a flex play. Just don't see him getting in the end zone or breaking off big runs.
Uh, until there's some sort of threat of the pass.
King T and myself will be going in depth over injuries and guys that you could pick up off the waiver wire to replace some of these studs later on in the week. But for now, tough one for you chub owners, tough one for anyone who has stock in Carolina Panthers players for fantasy purposes.
Hopefully, Fingers crossed this is the last of the bad football and starting next week teams will start getting their footing and start really performing for our fantasy rosters. For Sweet Tea, for King, I'm Bombo. We are out. Hit the music.
