The Fat Man makes this weeks post with their drama, Murder Plays the Horses. In the podcast audio I said no dates were available, but later found more info with dates. This episode aired on Australian radio, August 26, 1954.

Most of the U.S. productions are no longer in circulation, but many of the Australian episodes still exist. The Fat Man was produced on Australian radio from September 1954 to 1955 for 55 episodes. With the Brad Runyon role played by actor Lloyd Berrell (b. 02/1926 – d. 12/1957).

The Fat Man was credited to Dashiell Hammett (b. 1894 - d. 01/1961), author of The Thin Man.

The U.S. version (1946-1951) was broadcast from WJZ studios in Newark, New Jersey, and syndicated on the ABC Radio Network.
