How do you let trauma of the past impact your present and future?
We all have dozens of choices every day, and we all have a choice of how we’re going to use our past to inform our decisions and actions or if we’re going to let it hold us back. We all heal differently, and we all have different emotions regarding our past. Today I want to share tips that have helped me let go of my past and move forward.
- Don't deny what’s happened. Face it and learn.
- Acknowledge your own understanding of painful things that happened.
- Give yourself grace. Ask yourself if you’re ready to let go.
- Seek support when you need it.
- Try a let it go ceremony
