Shownotes

Pelumi Nubi is currently in her final year of her PhD studentship in cancer research and human genetics. But she is also extremely passionate about travelling. 3 years ago she started travelling with a mission to visit 30 countries before she turned 30. Her ambition quickly grew and she has now visited over 50 countries. Her new goal is to see all 193 UN recognized countries and be the youngest black woman to do so. Travelling to me is the kintsugi (Japanese word for mending with gold therefore making a broken item better than new) of life. Kintsugi is able to both mend and enrich; making one's life much more fulfilling. Travelling has turned her into a storyteller whilst teaching her the ability to connect with people on a deeper level and showcasing that there is more good than bad in the world.
