Shownotes
Brace yourself: TWO HUGE Announcements Coming Your Way. Savannah Simms, former General Manager of Volvo Palo Alto and McLaren San Francisco turned Director of Business Development and Marketing for Simms Auto Group, is on the show today and discusses her new role in the recent acquisition of a Ford dealership in Fairfield, CA and the upcoming plans she has for three more stores in the Bay Area. This will be the first (of many episodes) with Savannah because not only does she share my passion (and straight up unhinged enthusiasm) for EVs, but Savannah is excited to start collaborating (even more!) with the EVs for Everyone Podcast on dealer focused EV education and training that will go beyond your "run-of-the-mill" basic OEM training and will help keep dealership sales teams engaged, energized and amped up to sell more EVs! PS - it was just finalized that Savannah and I will be co-chairing the Commerce Stage at MOVE London on Thursday, June 20th 2024 where we will both facilitate exciting discussions with world-class leaders on all things EV, e-commerce, digital retailing and connected vehicles. We're *officially* going international, baby! Be sure to subscribe to the show to follow along :)
