unching your show. And these [:

What is the end? Journey is this to call in aligned clients? Is this to educate people? Is this to tell your story? All of these are important, right? Is this to create a platform for your healing work for people to learn your modality, your purpose will guide every episode, every guest, and every piece of content that you create from here on out.

are gonna make sure that you [:

And it's where so many spiritual entrepreneurs get a little fuzzy. You wanna define your ideal listener clearly, and specifically, I'm serious. This is really where people have a lot of hiccups because as women, we're guided to nurture and we are guided to really show up for everyone. But not everyone is your ideal client.

irst offers? Are you looking [:

You really want to be very specific. Are you teaching? If you're teaching, who are you teaching? Are you teaching moms? Are you teaching single women that are young? Are you teaching something or you, do you have something to share for women starting a second career? It could be any of those. It could be all of those, but you really need to really hone in.

that person is, that client [:

Some options are solo episodes, which are like this one, teaching storytelling, maybe some spiritual transmissions, some journeys, or maybe some meditations, things like that. And then definitely if you're interested, you could add in a few guest interviews. Now, I would not suggest guest interviews every week.

You want to maintain your authority with those solo episodes, but. You could definitely have a mix of both of those. another one is maybe some short form guidances, you know, more meditative, longer, 30 minute conversations. The coaching clients, you know, maybe you have a client that has a question, and this question comes up a lot.

y not wanna bring the person [:

certainly it would feel maybe more authentic to you to have Susie on, but if Susie is too afraid or not interested, you could still. Share how you coach by using that question as an example. As long as it's not too personal, of course, right? And then you're gonna also maybe think about what kind of music you're going to want.

ht now I'm really focused on [:

But I definitely have stories to share and I know I do know, just based on stats I've seen before, those storytelling ones where I share more deep and intimate conversations about my life. Those are probably gonna be the ones that people gravitate towards, you know? Yeah, sure. There's gonna be those ones that maybe have a, a punch, you know, have a poignant information that people are like, ah, yes.

But the ones that I share my story are definitely gonna be the ones I, I can foresee where people listen and are wrapped. Right? People love stories. Think about all of those times we would sit around campfires or sit around and we would tell stories. This is, this is how it began. And this is what we're doing again, or doing still either way.

e if you're formal or you're [:

So that is super important. When you're thinking about your format and your flow, you wanna make that an extension of you. All right? Your fourth decision, it's gonna be your schedule and your rhythm. How often do you wanna release episodes? There's no right answer here, but consistency is key. So whether or not you go weekly, biweekly.

Or I'm gonna say monthly, but I really don't feel like that is actually enough. I really feel like you need to go weekly or biweekly and maybe at first, maybe twice a week. I really feel like if you wanna get the most bang for your buck and you really wanna get that out there, then that's the perfect way to go.

to bring that, and if you're [:

ecorded three episodes before:

ing you information, and yet [:

It's going to create that consistency, right? Every week I have something different, something special to teach you a story to share. And that's just going to keep you interested for the next week 'cause it's easily consumed. 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes. Easy. Consumability here. And then let's talk about the decision number five.

. And mine, I'm using an A TR:

It doesn't have to be studio [:

You want a way to record. Now, I am sometimes recording directly into D Script. Sometimes I record directly into Audacity. Audacity is free, but I do have a descrip subscription, so I can do that as well. There's a couple of other places. I even have one client and she records directly into her phone and we take it from there.

And then I have another, and she actually uses dial pad, uh, the old fashioned dial pad that people incorporate use. She records using that, and we take her podcast and we, we edit it from there. And then you're gonna need a podcast host. So my favorite is Captivate, but there's also Libson and Buzzsprout.

bigger and better at a later [:

Something more useful for your needs. you're gonna need some cover art. Make sure that your cover art has those big bold letters of what you're about and who you're for. And then always think about your episode titles. Where are you leading your. Listeners to what journey are you leading them to?

So if you have something that you're gonna be releasing on Lionsgate, then perhaps you need to backtrack and think about how you're going to be talking about that leading up to there. And I would definitely, even though you might have a working title. I would wait until after you record to actually come up with a full title.

ut this fantastic vacation I [:

The conversation about your fantastic vacation just went out the window, and now you're onto a different conversation, and that can happen in your podcast episode as well. so you don't have to be perfect to get this started. These five decisions are meant to free you, not box you in. And remember if you are not locked into anything, podcasts evolve. Just like that conversation, right? You evolve. Podcasts evolve and things can change. Start with clarity and just let it grow from there.

It's just one little step at a time, one little episode at a time. Just to recap, the five decisions you need to make before you launch are know your purpose, know your listener. Choose your format. Set your rhythm and keep the tech simple. Just keep that simple for right now. I mean, I mean, keep it simple all the time, right?

Just make it [:
