Adam Champagne the organisation’s Marketing Director, talks about stand up, the history and growth of the magazine and the site. He also talks about his hopes and expectations for the continued future of the sport.
Standup Journal was created by Joyce and Clay Feeter, Glenn Dubock and Steve West. Here is a brief history from the website’s about page: “Clay Feeter left Wind Surf in 1985 to start his own magazine, California Boardsailor. This became Wind Tracks Journal, the most spirited, soulful North American windsurfing publication. He sold Wind Tracks to American Windsurfer in 2000.
Now he is back with Standup Journal, a new era, photo-heavy action and lifestyle sup magazine that also embraces our glorious heritage, pioneering and exploration days.”
