Hi Y’all! I’m so freaking excited that this episode is FINALLY dropping. It’s been over a year in the making (really more like 30+ years in the making) and I’m so stoked to share more about me, my experience, and why I started Your Podcast Strategist!

In case you didn’t know, I’m Kayla! I have been working in the online space for 3+ years as a way to leave corporate and spend more time with my family. You see, after I had my twin girls, I knew that the hour to hour and a half long commute every day was not for me. 

I searched, “how to make money online… legitimately” and found Micala Quinn’s course The Live Free Academy (formerly Overwhelmed to Overbooked). Through that course I learned all of the foundational things I needed to do to start my business and make some money!

The question then became, what do I want to do? 

After doing a hodgepodge of tasks and projects, I knew that podcasting was where I wanted to be. One of my fellow OTO ladies, Lauren Wrighton, had just put together her new course and I was there for it! I dove in and that was all she wrote. 

I am now the founder and owner of KWells Companies and run a podcast management and marketing agency for professionals turned entrepreneurs. It has been such an amazing journey so far and I’m beyond thrilled to start this new chapter with Your Podcast Strategist. 

Becoming a podcaster myself was never really in the plan, but I love sharing the knowledge that I learn about the topics and interests that I’m passionate about. What better way to do that than to have my own podcast?
