Our guest today is Julianne Parkinson, CEO of the Global Centre for Modern Ageing, a not-for-profit that helps organisations and individuals devise products and services that allow older people to live and age well.
Through their life lab, they partner with volunteers in simulated environments to help discover what things make a difference to the lives of elderly Australians.
Julianne comes to this interview armed with fresh research about how older Australians are adapting to the COVID pandemic, and we go in depth on some ways to smooth the transitions between care in the home and life in aged care facilities.
There is a lot covered here. So, we hope you enjoy this conversation.
If you enjoy the new platform, then we would love your feedback and really appreciate if you would give us a rating, subscribe and share.
Brought to you by @SilVRAdventures - every fortnight, we invite aged care industry experts, thought leaders and passionate individuals to share their knowledge and experience with our host Ash De Neef, as we examine ways to improve the quality of care and the quality of life for seniors.
