Back in episode one,Speaker:
I talked about how many apps your podcast should be on.Speaker:
And at the time, I mentioned that you want to be on asSpeaker:
many as possible to make it as easy as possible for your listeners to listen onSpeaker:
their preferred podcast app, whether that's Apple Podcasts, Spotify etc. But from anSpeaker:
indie podcaster point of view, one of the apps I do recommend getting on is Goodpods.Speaker:
There's both a mobile and web version and what I really like about Goodpods isSpeaker:
yes it's an app that has all podcasts on there or all podcasts that are currentlySpeaker:
published to Apple, since Goodpods uses the Apple API, but what they also do isSpeaker:
they're very much geared towards the indie podcaster. Instead of just havingSpeaker:
charts for all podcasts they have indie specific charts so you can toggle betweenSpeaker:
all shows or just indie podcasts which really helps indie podcasts getSpeaker:
discovered more. They've also got some great features like podcast Q&A as wellSpeaker:
as podcaster Q&A that really lets you tell people about you and your shows.Speaker:
They've also just released lists which is great for creating lists of your topSpeaker:
five favorite podcasts in topic X or topic Y but the cool thing is yourSpeaker:
podcast goes at the top of this list. So if your podcast is a podcast aboutSpeaker:
podcasts, for example like One Minute Podcast Tips, I can create a list like what ISpeaker:
have done on Goodpods and also share five podcasts I listen to that talkSpeaker:
about podcasting tips and insights and more. Again it's a really cool way toSpeaker:
really share the podcast you're listening to, but also get your ownSpeaker:
podcast out there and in front of other listeners. You can check out Goodpods atSpeaker:
Goodpods.com or download their app for iOS or Android. Until the next time,Speaker:
