Speaker:

Everybody happy Friday and

welcome to another edition

2

:

of the daily Bible podcast.

3

:

The third is the funds, the funds.

4

:

Okay.

5

:

Fat Albert funds either one.

6

:

I mean, it sounds the same.

7

:

And do they?

8

:

Yeah.

9

:

What about the Huxtables?

10

:

I guess, can you, can you do it?

11

:

Can you do it to the impression.

12

:

Uh, bill Cosby.

13

:

I can't, I can't do that.

14

:

He got his duck, the, that guy,

that Donald duck, Donald duck?

15

:

Yeah.

16

:

Yeah.

17

:

I'm not a, I'm not a big impressions guy.

18

:

Yeah.

19

:

I've got a great draft ready for it.

20

:

Okay.

21

:

Ready?

22

:

Okay.

23

:

That was, that was.

24

:

Underwhelming.

25

:

Well, you know, they're kind

of underwhelming animals.

26

:

They don't say a lot.

27

:

That's not true.

28

:

They're they're very majestic creatures.

29

:

They are, but they don't say a lot.

30

:

Oh, they don't say a lot,

but they're not underwhelming

31

:

because they don't say a lot.

32

:

That's fair.

33

:

They're definitely at least whelming.

34

:

Well, Hey Dan, by the way, I

hope this is exciting for you.

35

:

Cause Dan talked to me the other day.

36

:

Who's like, Hey, when you're by yourself.

37

:

And there was, I turned on one of

the episodes and you're like, Hey,

38

:

this is the daily Bible podcast.

39

:

Pastor PJ.

40

:

He was like, I was listening, going,

man, you better get this more ramped up

41

:

because I'm gonna fall asleep right now.

42

:

Wow.

43

:

He wasn't feeling it.

44

:

He was calling me out on that.

45

:

There is a, so there was the art Laboe.

46

:

Did you ever listen to the radio?

47

:

No.

48

:

You were from a different area.

49

:

You're from this area right in California.

50

:

There was this guy.

51

:

Who do love songs at night and

he would play these classics.

52

:

His name was art.

53

:

I have that very soft buttery voice.

54

:

I also though, that was a good time.

55

:

Yeah.

56

:

And you listen, not because you're

trying to be excited, you're listening

57

:

because you're in a sentimental mood.

58

:

I mean, Arla Bo's classic.

59

:

I don't know.

60

:

Maybe you sound like him.

61

:

We had Delilah out here.

62

:

Yeah.

63

:

She had the like DJ for the national.

64

:

Yeah, she was a national personality.

65

:

I remember she died recently.

66

:

If I'm not mistaken,

maybe couldn't tell you.

67

:

Couldn't tell me.

68

:

Okay.

69

:

Well, yeah.

70

:

But it's Friday twisters

is coming out in theaters.

71

:

That's right.

72

:

I cannot, I was, if we did not have

family night tonight at VBS, CBS.

73

:

I'm going to be there.

74

:

Yeah.

75

:

Maybe we could take VBS to the thing.

76

:

Ah, That might not be it.

77

:

The parents might not appreciate

a call it a prophecy conference.

78

:

Um, we could and, uh, and then we would

have nobody left at VBS next year.

79

:

Kids would be terrified.

80

:

Yeah.

81

:

No, but VBS has gone.

82

:

Awesome.

83

:

And just been so excited.

84

:

Good job church.

85

:

You guys have done.

86

:

An amazing job.

87

:

To whom praises do they have done?

88

:

Excellent.

89

:

So good.

90

:

Yeah.

91

:

Volunteers have been awesome.

92

:

You guys were proud of your church.

93

:

It's been a great week.

94

:

It is heartwarming.

95

:

And tonight we get to celebrate with

the families that are going to be there.

96

:

And I, I think I heard from mark

yesterday or the day before that.

97

:

About 40% of the kids involved in

our VBS are from outside the church.

98

:

Wow.

99

:

So, when you think about that, there's

going to be potentially 40% of the

100

:

parents there tomorrow or tonight

that are going to be brand new.

101

:

That don't go to our church.

102

:

So it's an opportunity

for us to impact them.

103

:

And perhaps to invite them to come

back on Sunday, be a part of our

104

:

church family, make good connections.

105

:

So.

106

:

I was asked.

107

:

Yesterday, if I could

help serve ice cream.

108

:

And I guess.

109

:

Yeah, I know she's scheming.

110

:

She said she has hats for us.

111

:

Aprons.

112

:

Yep.

113

:

I said, as long as it's not too cute.

114

:

And I mean it, Allie, if this is too

cute, this'll be the first and last

115

:

time I serve under your leadership.

116

:

Yeah.

117

:

I gave her my master keys one Sunday.

118

:

Yeah.

119

:

And I feel like she turned

into a different woman.

120

:

She was like calling shots

and she was steering everyone.

121

:

I just think the power went

to her head too quickly.

122

:

Well, they've, I'm afraid.

123

:

They've all got

walkie-talkies around the VVS.

124

:

And that with the earpieces.

125

:

Yeah.

126

:

I mean, it's, it's pretty efficient.

127

:

And they're saying like

10, four and over and copy.

128

:

And all this stuff.

129

:

It's just so.

130

:

Yeah, we're professional.

131

:

I'll take it, man.

132

:

I appreciate it.

133

:

How cool we are.

134

:

My favorite was last night, though.

135

:

Towards the end.

136

:

I was standing there talking with

mark and all of a sudden, Julia,

137

:

his wife comes on the walkie-talkie.

138

:

And she's asking him a question

and he looks up and she's

139

:

like 20 feet away from him.

140

:

She's like over standing by the door.

141

:

I said, do you guys carry

the walkie-talkies around

142

:

the house at home too?

143

:

It's probably efficient.

144

:

And she said no, but we

do use our apple watch.

145

:

Walkington.

146

:

Yeah, those are cool.

147

:

I could never get my wife to do

that, but I would be for that.

148

:

That's cool.

149

:

Yeah.

150

:

Yeah.

151

:

I like that.

152

:

I'm yeah, you're not about that.

153

:

I can tell you're you're hating.

154

:

I got hating you like, Hey, did you

get anything on the Amazon prime days?

155

:

Oh, yeah, the buttons.

156

:

Yes.

157

:

Oh, I okay.

158

:

So Kristen and I recently went

on an anniversary getaway.

159

:

I told you this.

160

:

By the way.

161

:

Thank you all for missing me and

sending love to pastor PJ and myself.

162

:

We appreciate you guys.

163

:

I went to this hotel with Kristen.

164

:

Was it just me.

165

:

We were to give that this hotel,

and this is a great hotel.

166

:

It's a Hilton subsidiary.

167

:

I forget the name of the place, but

it was a Hilton thing off the DNT.

168

:

Dallas north tollway for

those who are outside.

169

:

I know where this is going now.

170

:

Okay.

171

:

Yeah.

172

:

You know, I told you I

was struggling with this.

173

:

I wasn't, I didn't remember, but.

174

:

So we went to this great hotel and we.

175

:

You know, they have the

normal coffee there.

176

:

Well, the difference though, is that this

thing was a Nespresso machine Nespresso.

177

:

So not SP Nespresso.

178

:

There's an end at the front of

that fancy it's a fancy machine.

179

:

So it was just kind of fun.

180

:

So I tried it not.

181

:

I'm not expecting a whole lot.

182

:

I know hotel, coffee, even the good stuff.

183

:

And this blew my mind.

184

:

I was so impressed by the quality of

the coffee flavor that I'm like this.

185

:

This is really good.

186

:

I drank most of it.

187

:

All of it probably.

188

:

And I thought this is

a really cool machine.

189

:

Let me scan it.

190

:

I'll take a picture.

191

:

I'll think about it later.

192

:

Well, low and behold prime day

comes up and I'm like, oh, I wonder

193

:

what the price is for this machine.

194

:

And so I looked it up and it

was like 30 or $40 cheaper.

195

:

So maybe I got it.

196

:

And maybe I bought some Nespresso

pods to go with it and maybe.

197

:

Maybe my monster energy drink habit

can finally subside and give way to

198

:

some fresh coffee in the morning.

199

:

Well, okay.

200

:

So that's what I did.

201

:

I bought, I bought that.

202

:

I, and I got a couple other

stuff that I'm like, oh, this is.

203

:

It's on sale.

204

:

It's not like a nothing,

but what did you get?

205

:

I know you got a thousand things.

206

:

I actually did not.

207

:

Oh.

208

:

I did a first.

209

:

Forever.

210

:

Yeah, my son's got a job and so I

bought something for him on Amazon.

211

:

Cause he doesn't have some.

212

:

Amazon account, but he's been working

hard and he's had his eye on something.

213

:

So I got him something.

214

:

And I bought a slide advancer for

the church, but that's about it.

215

:

That's it.

216

:

Period.

217

:

End of story.

218

:

That's cool.

219

:

I did buy some grocery type things.

220

:

Cause there were some, there

were sales for things like that.

221

:

I'll buy some of that.

222

:

I'm going to use it.

223

:

Yeah.

224

:

I'd rather get the sale.

225

:

Yeah, I'm working on.

226

:

Just trying to enjoy the things that

I have because I'm prone to be the

227

:

guy that's like, oh, look at that.

228

:

That's new and shiny.

229

:

And I want that thing so good.

230

:

Self-awareness.

231

:

Trying to, uh, to pull back on that.

232

:

Yeah, contentment.

233

:

Yeah.

234

:

That's what Jesus says.

235

:

We should have speaking.

236

:

With what you have, speaking of

contentment, how about we get

237

:

content with the word of God?

238

:

Okay.

239

:

I'm already contemporary man

should not live by bread alone,

240

:

but on every word that flows.

241

:

And again, that comes

from the mouth of God.

242

:

Right.

243

:

Uh, second Kings 18, and then

we're in Chronicles Chronicles.

244

:

Isn't that a song.

245

:

Okay.

246

:

We have a lot of ground to cover.

247

:

I'm gonna have to discipline.

248

:

Let's get back on track.

249

:

All right.

250

:

Second Kings 18.

251

:

It has a guy that takes the throne

and king HESI is a good king.

252

:

Um, one of the best by and large.

253

:

Yeah.

254

:

I mean, he has some bumps in

the road as every king does, but

255

:

by and large, he's a good king.

256

:

He takes over, he purchased

the land to the high places.

257

:

So right there, that should be an

immediate sign because so many of the

258

:

good Kings that we've read about prior

it's, uh, they were a good king, but they

259

:

didn't purge the land of the high places.

260

:

King has, he takes a throne, gets

the high places out of there.

261

:

Verses five through six, his trust

in the Lord was greater than any

262

:

of the Kings of Judah who had

proceeded him or who'd follow him.

263

:

I take that.

264

:

I'm curious to get your take on this past

road, but I take that as not including

265

:

Solomon and David, because it separates

out the Kings of Judah, which would

266

:

have referred to the divided kingdom,

not necessarily the United model.

267

:

Agreed.

268

:

Yeah.

269

:

So, this is not saying that, Hey,

he was a better king or, or a more

270

:

faithful kingdom, David or Solomon.

271

:

Th these are the Southern

Kings that he's talking about.

272

:

Right.

273

:

And even, and even this comparison,

David is the high point.

274

:

He's the watermark verse three.

275

:

He did what was right in the eyes

of the Lord, according to all

276

:

that David, his father had done.

277

:

So I think David is kind of the, he's

the standard, the standard, right?

278

:

Your stereotype, the paradigm.

279

:

Exactly.

280

:

Yep.

281

:

For sure.

282

:

Yeah, verse seven, though, his, uh,

his father had offered tributes to

283

:

the Assyrians, has a Chi is going

to refuse and rebel against them.

284

:

So he's breaking off

against some of the trust.

285

:

Remember, we've been talking in the

prophets, they don't trust these

286

:

other nations has a K is going

to begin to get that message and

287

:

turn the tide a little bit here.

288

:

Uh, verses nine through 12, during the

early years of his reign, the Northern

289

:

kingdom falls to a Syria taking many

of the people captive because they

290

:

had not listened to or bait the Lord.

291

:

So there's the XL, the Northern

kingdom forest, and second

292

:

Kings 18 verses nine through 12.

293

:

Uh, versus 23 through 27, then.

294

:

Uh, has the kind of trust in

the Lord does falter though, a

295

:

Syrah that comes against Judah.

296

:

And instead of again, just

trusting the Lord, he attempts

297

:

to appease the Assyrians here.

298

:

And so, like I said, there's

some bumps in the road, but by

299

:

and large, he's a good king.

300

:

Uh, this appeasing doesn't work.

301

:

The Assyrian send an Envoy to

TA and manipulate the people.

302

:

Uh, the, the rap Shakka or rap rap.

303

:

Second Robin.

304

:

Rep.

305

:

Yup.

306

:

The Rabih.

307

:

Yeah.

308

:

Anyways, he shows up and he's trying

to, uh, get dismayed the people

309

:

he's delivering messages saying,

Hey, how can you stand against a

310

:

Siri when no other nation has been

able to stand against the Syria?

311

:

So.

312

:

Second Kings 18.

313

:

There you go.

314

:

Thoughts on second Kings 18.

315

:

So I, I, maybe I missed it,

but in, in verses nine through

316

:

12, This is the fall of Israel.

317

:

The Northern kingdom.

318

:

Right?

319

:

Right.

320

:

This is, so this is a big deal, right?

321

:

This is massive.

322

:

This is the first time I

think we're coming across it.

323

:

And if I'm not mistaken.

324

:

The first time we're

seeing this in scripture.

325

:

Second Kings 18 details.

326

:

The fall of the Northern

kingdom they're done now.

327

:

You're never going to see them

back on the scene except into the

328

:

millennial kingdom they're done.

329

:

And they're still scattered.

330

:

We don't know where they are.

331

:

Northern kingdom.

332

:

Got a Syria, takes him out.

333

:

This is where you're going to stop

seeing anything else in second

334

:

Kings about the Northern kingdom,

because they were obliterated.

335

:

Yeah.

336

:

And what's hard given our plan in, in,

we've been reading ahead a little bit.

337

:

Israel is still gonna be on the

scene with some of our profits.

338

:

Like Jose is going to talk to Israel.

339

:

Isaiah is still going

to talk a little bit.

340

:

We have to go back in time a little bit.

341

:

So we're going to have to

jump backwards a little bit.

342

:

This is the fall and you're right.

343

:

As far as being a separate entity,

they're gone now, some of the remnant

344

:

will come back and restore and be

restored post to exile, to Israel.

345

:

Uh, but not as Efraim.

346

:

Efrain is no more.

347

:

They are now going to be part of,

they're just joining themselves

348

:

to true Israel scattered that way.

349

:

Yeah.

350

:

Yeah.

351

:

So there you go.

352

:

There's second Kings 18, second

Chronicles 29, then, uh, there's

353

:

going to be parallels here.

354

:

We've got Hezekiah in view in second

Chronicles, 29 verses one through 19,

355

:

we get a little bit more in depth here.

356

:

One of the first things has a kind

of did, was he set out to clean

357

:

and re consecrate the temple.

358

:

So some of what's implied in second

Kings 18 is specifically stated

359

:

here in second Chronicles, 29.

360

:

And so he consecrates, it, he consecrates

the priests, he removes all of the

361

:

idols and the filth and everything

else that accumulated there under the

362

:

reign of eight has a, and the priest.

363

:

Again, they, they consecrate themselves

to get ready to resume their proper roles.

364

:

And then after the temple

was consecrated prepared.

365

:

He orders worship in sacrifices to resume.

366

:

And so this was marked

by this large assembly.

367

:

Thousands of animals are sacrificed

sin offerings, reminiscent of the

368

:

day of atonement with the two goal.

369

:

Uh, goats.

370

:

So you're going to see there, it wasn't

the David Toman, but similar to that,

371

:

there's these two goats that are there.

372

:

Uh, the sin offerings

are going to be offered.

373

:

The musicians are back.

374

:

The singers are back.

375

:

This is a, this is a brief high point.

376

:

In Judah's existence now, less, you

get too optimistic and think, yay.

377

:

It's not going to last.

378

:

This is not going to be.

379

:

Enough to stave the hand of God's

judgment from coming against his people.

380

:

But Hezekiah is doing what's

right here in this passage.

381

:

Yeah.

382

:

And I guess in chapter 30, you're

you're headed that direction.

383

:

Right.

384

:

Go for it.

385

:

Chapter 30.

386

:

I I'm impressed by the fact that

Hezekiah just doesn't restore

387

:

Passover to the Southern kingdom.

388

:

He invites a Northern

tribe to be part of this.

389

:

This is especially remarkable because

of course, you know, the Northern tribes

390

:

don't have anything to do with the

Southern tribes in terms of their worship.

391

:

Number Bethel and Dan there,

they have their, their calves

392

:

that are situated there.

393

:

And yet has a Chi in his zeal for the

Lord, his love for the Lord, his desire

394

:

for God's holiness and his reverence.

395

:

He invites his brothers.

396

:

Uh, in the flesh, that is

his, his Israelite brothers.

397

:

Just say, Hey, be part of

this, come back to the Lord.

398

:

And I think this is incredibly

commendable, that the heart of

399

:

a, of a person who wants to see

revival is not satisfied with,

400

:

let me just revive my heart.

401

:

Let me just have my family be revived.

402

:

Let me just have my little

church of 200 and however many

403

:

people God has in our ranks.

404

:

We're not, we're never

satisfied with that.

405

:

A truly Gabi person who really

wants revival once God honored.

406

:

Wants revival to spread beyond

the gates of theirs and their own.

407

:

And I hope that you guys see some of this

and you're inspired to say, man, I want.

408

:

I want our church to experience

revival, certainly, but I want Frisco

409

:

and I want north Texas as a region

to know revival, to know the true

410

:

God to love him, to Revere him.

411

:

And to surrender their Alton

much like has a Chi does here.

412

:

What a good example for us.

413

:

It is a good example.

414

:

And it's, it's interesting because

some of the people that come, uh,

415

:

they don't have time to, to consecrate

themselves before the Passover fee.

416

:

So it has a.

417

:

That's interesting.

418

:

Praise and says, Hey God, can

you still accept their sacrifice?

419

:

And he does.

420

:

And he does amazing does

because of his mercy.

421

:

Because again, it's not about

going through the motions.

422

:

It's about the heart.

423

:

And so I think what that implies is

those that were coming for this did

424

:

have that broken and contrite spirit.

425

:

They had that right heart before God.

426

:

They weren't just there

to go through the motions.

427

:

And so that, that's why I think God

said, yeah, I'll, I'll accept it.

428

:

Is there an application

there that we could.

429

:

Take and adopt in the new Testament

because God doesn't have us

430

:

worship the same way in the NewTek.

431

:

There's not specific prescribed

means of approaching him.

432

:

Like there was back in this time.

433

:

Is there something that you could

see that would be helpful for us

434

:

to say, oh, I see how that might

connect to a new test and experience.

435

:

Yeah.

436

:

I think when we, when we sin, I

think one of the enemy's greatest

437

:

ploys is to say, you can't pray.

438

:

You can't show up at church, you can't.

439

:

Cause he, he heaps the shame,

heaps of guilty heats heaps, the

440

:

condemnation of our sin upon us.

441

:

Right.

442

:

And it's as though.

443

:

Okay, well, God's not going

to accept your repentance.

444

:

God's not gonna accept your worship.

445

:

God's not going to accept your fellowship.

446

:

Uh, because of your sin.

447

:

And so I think there's maybe a

correlation there to say, you know what.

448

:

If you come with that broken a

contract heart, and you truly broken

449

:

over your sin, that that's the safest

place for us is to flee to the, the

450

:

cross is to fleet or to the, to,

to God and seek forgiveness there.

451

:

Otherwise we're like Adam and Eve in the

garden when God came looking for them.

452

:

Posts in, they hit, they didn't come

to God, they hit, but, but God in

453

:

his grace drew them out from their

hiding by saying, where are you?

454

:

Right.

455

:

And so I think likewise.

456

:

Just like these people were still defiled

ceremonially when they came to worship.

457

:

And yet God still accepted that

worship because you saw their hearts.

458

:

Uh, you may.

459

:

Be defiled with, with your

sin, so to speak, but there's

460

:

still a path through Christ.

461

:

And through a broken encounter

at heart to bring your worship

462

:

and prayers to the Lord still.

463

:

Amen.

464

:

And I think about a lot of new

believers who come to church and

465

:

they're not sure what the right

thing is to do, you know, is.

466

:

This, I don't know the song lyrics,

but I think you can still bring

467

:

your all to God and your heart.

468

:

Um, and still have that be acceptable.

469

:

God doesn't need you to precisely

follow the, the regulated principles

470

:

of church service or singing

the right lyrics on the slide.

471

:

Just give him your heart.

472

:

I think that's what matters.

473

:

That's what he wants.

474

:

It is second Chronicles, 31, then.

475

:

Uh, Hezekiah begins to reorganize

rather and commissioned the

476

:

priests for their regular duties.

477

:

And so here's some administrative

details going on here.

478

:

Uh, and along with this, he's going to

command that the people resume their

479

:

offerings and ties to support the priest.

480

:

Who's, he's really trying to get

everything operating gains smoothly,

481

:

the way it used to operate.

482

:

And he's doing this because

this is what God's desire was.

483

:

This is the way that it should go.

484

:

And so he's focusing on those there.

485

:

I guess one more note back in.

486

:

Uh, chapter 30, look at verse 26.

487

:

This is just a note of, of the atmosphere.

488

:

There, there was great joy in Jerusalem

for since the time of Solomon,

489

:

the son of David King of Israel.

490

:

There had never been anything

like this in Jerusalem.

491

:

So this is a high point.

492

:

This is a high water mark

in the divided kingdom.

493

:

They've never had this much

positivity and joy going on since.

494

:

The time of Solomon, which is exciting.

495

:

Good time.

496

:

This is a time of revival

for the people of Judah.

497

:

And this is a great thing.

498

:

We should pray for this.

499

:

I guess.

500

:

Let me just make one point in

chapter 31, because we just

501

:

talked about God wants your heart.

502

:

That doesn't mean that God doesn't

care about what his word says.

503

:

Clearly in chapter 31, Hezekiah is

promoted and honored because he's

504

:

organizing the priests who were

responsible for making sure that the

505

:

worship in the temple was appropriate

was according to the regulations.

506

:

In fact, verse 29, excuse me, verse.

507

:

21, every work that he undertook in

the service of the house of God and

508

:

in accordance with the law and the

commandments seeking his God, he did

509

:

with all his heart and prospered.

510

:

So it's not just the heart that God wants.

511

:

Although he wants that.

512

:

If you have to choose between one

and the other, he wants your heart.

513

:

Yeah.

514

:

But in addition to your heart, A heart

that truly loves him will seek to say,

515

:

what does your word say about this?

516

:

I want to be precise.

517

:

I want to do what you want.

518

:

That's the heart of a true disciple.

519

:

That's a heart of someone who truly

loves him and wants to serve him.

520

:

Well, the heart.

521

:

And the actions married together has

a Chi shows us a good example of this.

522

:

Yup.

523

:

Well, some 48.

524

:

When you turn over some 48, you're going

to read in the title, a song of som

525

:

of the sons of Korah the sons of core

being some of the temple singers there.

526

:

And so this doesn't say anything

contextually that it would lead us

527

:

to say, this is when this took place.

528

:

Or this is when this Psalm

is describing the events that

529

:

took place in this situation.

530

:

So we don't know.

531

:

The medically fits.

532

:

Yeah.

533

:

Thematically.

534

:

Yeah, it does fit.

535

:

I mean, when you look at this,

this is a Psalm of celebration

536

:

and joy, and it certainly fits

what we were just talking about.

537

:

The, the joy with the people of

Judah as under Hezekiah's reign,

538

:

they kind of returned to the Lord.

539

:

They got things back in order again,

it's, it's not going to last and

540

:

we know that, but Hey, In the short

term, it looks like things are going

541

:

to, to turn out well and, and do,

uh, and, and, and look good for them.

542

:

And so this song that we don't know

exactly where it goes, does fit the

543

:

context like verse 11, let, Mount, Zion

be glad that the daughters of Judah

544

:

rejoice because of your judgments.

545

:

And so there's a.

546

:

Uh, joy that's going on there.

547

:

They're not fearing the Lord.

548

:

They're excited.

549

:

Well, not fearing them in a, in a bad way.

550

:

They're excited.

551

:

They're they're returning to him.

552

:

The sacrifices are happening.

553

:

So I'm 48 does fit the medically.

554

:

Amen.

555

:

Well, Hey, let's pray.

556

:

And then a.

557

:

We'll be done with today's episode.

558

:

Got things for a.

559

:

This passage, this text.

560

:

And even as pastor rod was saying, God,

we pray for that heart for those around

561

:

us, that we would not just care about.

562

:

Uh, those within the four walls of our

church, but that we would be, uh, are

563

:

constantly aware of the needs around us

for people to, to bow that need to cry,

564

:

need a Christ in faith in repentance.

565

:

And so give us a, an evangelist zeal that.

566

:

Uh, that is contagious.

567

:

And God help us to identify those in our

neighborhoods, our workplaces, our homes.

568

:

That need to hear the gospel

and give us open doors for that.

569

:

I pray even this week that you would give

us a divine appointment to open doors.

570

:

That would be just blatantly obvious that

we would have to willfully ignore not

571

:

to walk through and share the gospel.

572

:

And yet I pray that we wouldn't

ignore them, that we would take that

573

:

opportunity to tell people about Christ.

574

:

And that we would care enough about our,

our, our fellow human beings all around

575

:

us to, to want them to follow Jesus the

way that has a Chi wanted those in the

576

:

north to come back and return to the Lord.

577

:

And so give us that mindset, keep us from

a heart of pride, fullness and arrogance

578

:

and conceit that would say, well, we've

got ours who cares about everybody else?

579

:

Give us a heart that is rich.

580

:

And in, in.

581

:

Uh, in, in primed to pursue

the lost in our lives.

582

:

So we pray this in Christ's name.

583

:

Amen.

584

:

Amen.

585

:

Keep it in, your Bibles and tune in.

586

:

again tomorrow for another episode

of the daily Bible podcast.

587

:

See that.
