Jamie was preparing for a bodybuilding competition in 2005 when a stranger approached him and inquired about his diet. In his reply, he said that he frequently consumed chicken, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. The guy said, “Can you make me some?" Jamie was happy to oblige but asked him to pay $3 per meal because he was strapped for cash. 

The man agreed and the following day, Jamie arrived with Ziploc bags of chicken, rice, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Word of mouth led to two more gym patrons requesting Jamie to prepare their dinners. It was then Jamie realized he might be on to an exciting new business idea. 

He launched Eat Clean Bro and started to gain street cred in Jersey. People began to recognize him and soon, he was cooking for the most influential people in the fitness industry. His friend Massy Arias got him his first celebrity client, La La Anthony.
