[00:00:39] Caroline Blazovsky: Hello everybody. It seems like we were off for a good chunk of time. This week we had a nice

[00:00:59] Caroline Blazovsky: [00:01:00] Memorial day weekend seems like it's.
[:
[00:01:10] Eric Goranson: It was funny. I was, I was watching a Fox and friends and DC was on there in the morning. Showing you what he did on his vacation week. Cause he took the week before Memorial day off and he was in the house painting and he had, all you can see was FrogTape everywhere and he was painting and I'm like, there we go.
[:
[00:01:37] Caroline Blazovsky: I was trying not to do DIY and then I heard a boom.
[:
[00:02:04] Eric Goranson: And that would be the garage door spring.
[:
[00:02:26] Eric Goranson: so you were upstairs and doing too much Billy blank, someone feeling blank. I took out the garage door spring below. I'm embarrassed

[00:02:50] Caroline Blazovsky: I'm sweating. I'm like sweating. Like you can't believe

[00:03:03] Intro: that's awesome.

[00:03:13] Eric Goranson: Cause it shakes the house.

[00:03:16] Caroline Blazovsky: God. And then until the next day we didn't find the culprit.

[00:03:25] Intro: strings hanging down. I'm like,

[00:03:35] Eric Goranson: Violet, when that happens, no question. But

[00:03:58] Eric Goranson: to take a picture that [00:04:00] didn't show is that like magic Mike story or something?

[00:04:09] Eric Goranson: I've only seen. One or two movies of his, and it was of course white house down because that's one of Julie's favorite movies. I've seen him in that. And then the Kingsman and everything else. I just, I haven't seen most of the other ones that he's in.

[00:04:25] Caroline Blazovsky: city, which is out at movie theaters near you right now with Maverick.
[:
[00:04:33] Caroline Blazovsky: who's in that. I think Sandra Bullock is with him.
[:
[00:04:39] Caroline Blazovsky: But anyway, he just showed up at my house this morning and he, and he fixed the garage door.
[:
[00:04:57] Caroline Blazovsky: We are going to go to the drive-thru this weekend [00:05:00] to seek, actually go into the drive through movie theater. See Maverick. We didn't go

[00:05:06] Intro: Drive in,
[:
[00:05:13] Intro: That's it.
[:
[00:05:29] Eric Goranson: It's about 40 minutes for us to get to the good driving, but not too bad, not too bad.
[:
[00:06:03] Eric Goranson: So not only did I have to take it out by to put it back down again. So I had two boxes. Because I knew that I had moved some closets and stuff out of there and I needed six more pieces. So I just placed the order. And I was like, oh, so close. I ran short. Well, he used to have these two closets with like mirror doors on it.

[00:06:50] Eric Goranson: And so you couldn't put that there. So I used all my scrap pieces there, so I couldn't, they were cut on both ends. And they were the perfect size, but I couldn't [00:07:00] reuse those. And so I just didn't account for that. I just didn't want to have an extra box sitting around, oh, this will be enough. And yeah, it wasn't so got another box on order now.

[00:07:29] Caroline Blazovsky: You think that's a mistake it's looking
[:
[00:07:39] Intro: Yeah. And that's what I was thinking.
[:
[00:07:49] Eric Goranson: So if you see. One of the non-name brands. There will be a slabs, there will be C slabs. There will be B slabs. There'll be even D slaps [00:08:00] what that is or the flaws in the material. Hmm. So what I mean by flaws is like, maybe it's coming down the production line and there's a little divot in it or a little chip out of it and they'll go through and fill it, but it's still.

[00:08:30] Intro: Interesting. So who does that?

[00:08:33] Eric Goranson: stone fabricator will come out and take care of that. And the people
[:
[00:08:37] Eric Goranson: you don't need to seal it. It's courts, you know, you know, a manmade top like that. It's not court site, but with courts, no need to seal it. Just Kevin buffet out and they'll just push it out. Like a car.

[00:08:56] Eric Goranson: Yeah. If it's all in the same slab, that's probably it. If she's using any [00:09:00] kind of an abrasive cleaner, no,

[00:09:03] Caroline Blazovsky: you just put it in, it came like
[:
[00:09:08] Eric Goranson: Cool. That should be a, that should be a, Hey, come fix us. So they'll come out and take care of that. That's not a problem. Not a problem. Yeah. We ended up, uh, barbecue and yesterday I had friends over and, um, I had some tri tip on the grill and then we did some, uh, Saracho, uh, shrimp. I threw those on there.

[00:09:58] Intro: the ice cream?
[:
[00:10:15] Eric Goranson: And then it just sits there and caramelizes the whole outside of it. And then of course you get the flames coming off. It, it looks pretty, pretty amazing. And uh, oh yeah, that's good. That'll be dessert tonight too.

[00:10:31] Eric Goranson: an apple. I had, I ate pineapple last night until my mouth. Oh,
[:
[00:10:36] Caroline Blazovsky: get like
[:
[00:10:37] Eric Goranson: stores.
[:
[00:10:43] Caroline Blazovsky: delish. And then what'd you do at the tri tip?
[00:11:08] Eric Goranson: my God. Yeah. See tonight could be better dinner than last night, just because I think tacos are in the future. You did good

[00:11:17] Intro: one.
[:
[00:11:25] Eric Goranson: Nice. That's good. That's good. Yeah, we got, uh, it was just, it's nice. It rained all weekend here. So yesterday even we were under the cover, there was times that were like dogs were playing in the backyard. I was like, oh, let's get the dogs.

[00:11:58] Eric Goranson: So you guys already had [00:12:00] that heat. Yeah,
[:
[00:12:19] Eric Goranson: That's hot. It's supposed to be pretty nice this week for us.
[:
[00:12:49] Eric Goranson: I think I got them through live nation or one of those. And they're like, we'll mail you the tickets within two weeks of the show. And I'm like two years later, I think I still have tickets coming, you know? [00:13:00]
[:
[00:13:07] Caroline Blazovsky: It did. What? A hundred and something million opening, highest ever grossing Memorial day, weekend movie,
[:
[00:13:26] Caroline Blazovsky: Fantastic. Everybody said it is, it is everything that they expected.
[:
[00:13:51] Eric Goranson: Yeah, he goes, it's not
[:
[00:13:54] Caroline Blazovsky: a real thing going Moncton. I don't even know. Like I saw that. Yeah. So

[00:14:12] Eric Goranson: They're just, it's the movies you have to Hollywood. It is. You gotta be careful with that because sometimes when you know stuff and you go in and watch a movie in your life. Really come on guys. That's, you know what it's like when they're flying a 7 47 and they're in the cockpit and there's only 300 controls and you're like, Hey, wrong airplane guys.

[00:14:34] Caroline Blazovsky: when Eric watches, DIY. Tell them.
[:
[00:14:45] Caroline Blazovsky: We've got it. We're going to have a show for you guys. It's coming up. We're going to do a show where we watch projects and give you our actual input. Real lifetime. It's going to be good to stay too.

[00:15:15] Eric Goranson: and go, what are they talking about? We'll have some fun with that too, but, uh, yeah, it's going to be kind of a nice sunny week here, so we're not going to be hot, but at least, uh, not raining. So, um, I mean, that's good. I wish the rain would go south to our California friends because, uh, California listeners need that rain.
