Shownotes

Many men open their hearts and become emotionally available, but lose themselves in the process. They suppress vital masculine traits like boldness, decisiveness, and having an edge. The result is a man who becomes available but loses his spine.

But a truly powerful man embodies both softness and fierceness. He brings heart openness and surrender at home while showing up with a strong spine in the world, standing in truth and power.

When they express masculinity from an unconscious level or try to overcompensate, men remain incomplete. A man stuck in only softness loses attraction, safety, and respect from the feminine. A man stuck in only structure loses trust and connection. People walk over the too-careful man, while the heartless warrior causes pain.

The world desperately needs men who don't back down, who stand in truth, who fight when necessary, but whose hearts remain wide open.

Transcripts

Speaker:

When a man opens his heart and truly connects with his emotional center,

Speaker:

becomes emotionally available, that is enormously powerful and

Speaker:

incredibly needed in today's world.

Speaker:

And at the same time, many men lose themselves on that path, not because

Speaker:

there's something wrong with opening their heart or becoming emotionally

Speaker:

available, but because at a deeper level they're suppressing their masculine

Speaker:

energy or better to say certain traits and parts of their masculine energy, such

Speaker:

as boldness, such as decisiveness, such as discipline structure, having an edge.

Speaker:

These are incredibly important.

Speaker:

They're vital parts of a man's true energy, or shall

Speaker:

we say, true innate nature.

Speaker:

And when these parts are suppressed and all the focus is on just opening

Speaker:

the heart, becoming softer, then yes, he might become available, but

Speaker:

he loses his spine in the process.

Speaker:

And then paradoxically, the feminine doesn't feel attracted as much to him.

Speaker:

She doesn't feel she can trust him.

Speaker:

She doesn't feel safe with him.

Speaker:

He doesn't feel his own power, and people start walking all over him.

Speaker:

So let's dive deep into this in today's episode.

Speaker:

This episode is for both men and women, as both are gonna

tremendously benefit from it.

Speaker:

I am Lorin Krenn, founder of the Core Method.

Speaker:

I help people identify the true root of their challenges

Speaker:

in relationships, purpose, and life, and shift it at the core.

Speaker:

From elite leaders, couples in crisis, to women healing their connection and

Speaker:

relationship with men, and coaches who want to elevate their coaching practice

Speaker:

to the highest level, my work is about depth, truth, and lasting change.

Speaker:

Something I always say to the men I work with or in my men's groups,

Speaker:

is that a truly powerful embodied man has this ability to embody both

Speaker:

softness and at the same time, an incredible level of fierceness.

Speaker:

He brings softness and heart openness at home, a deep surrender so his

Speaker:

loved ones can really feel him.

Speaker:

He's deeply available, and yet he shows up with a very strong spine

Speaker:

in the world, standing in his truth and standing in his true power.

Speaker:

If one of them is missing, it ultimately leads to an unconscious

Speaker:

expression of masculine energy.

Speaker:

And for decades we have seen the extreme of boldness, decisiveness, the desire

Speaker:

to lead and create and build used in the name of ego and used in the name of greed.

Speaker:

So as a whole, not just women, but also men have a wound or a

Speaker:

very challenging relationship to these aspects of masculine energy.

Speaker:

It makes sense.

Speaker:

Because if it caused so much pain, is still causing so much pain,

Speaker:

maybe there shouldn't be any place for it, but there is place for it,

Speaker:

however, in service to love, in service to a greater consciousness.

Speaker:

Because then these traits become enormously powerful.

Speaker:

They become protective of what is sacred, of the innocent.

Speaker:

It's basically a 360 degree shift.

Speaker:

It's not that something is wrong with masculine energy.

Speaker:

It's the expression of it that has caused so much pain.

Speaker:

So when men then drop into softness at the expense of their strength,

Speaker:

at the expense of their spine and edge and fierceness, then ultimately

Speaker:

they cannot be true protectors.

Speaker:

They cannot fully show up in this world.

Speaker:

And while better than just endless last and greed, yes, a hundred percent,

Speaker:

it still doesn't lead to the world we want, we all need, or at least

Speaker:

those who are dropped in want to see.

Speaker:

And for the feminine, it still doesn't feel deeply trustworthy.

Speaker:

So it's not shaming men, you're doing something wrong.

Speaker:

It's you get to be whole.

Speaker:

You don't have to kill or eradicate parts of who you are.

Speaker:

You have to move them into greater service.

Speaker:

Service for humanity, service to love, service to a greater consciousness,

Speaker:

because that is exactly what we need on this planet right now.

Speaker:

Men who are fucking in their power.

Speaker:

They don't back down.

Speaker:

They stand in truth.

Speaker:

They fight if necessary.

Speaker:

But their heart is deeply open.

Speaker:

They're emotionally available, they can surrender as well.

Speaker:

That's the power.

Speaker:

And these two forces, they meet in the heart.

Speaker:

Because in essence, when I say men lose themselves on the path of opening

Speaker:

their heart, that isn't entirely true.

Speaker:

It's the perception of what it means.

Speaker:

To open your heart.

Speaker:

But to truly open your heart means actually you become

Speaker:

incredibly strong as well.

Speaker:

The heart is not just soft.

Speaker:

The heart can be fierce as well.

Speaker:

Same for women.

Speaker:

Same for the wild feminine expression, right?

Speaker:

So, many men don't see true heart openness for what it really is.

Speaker:

It means opening your heart to all of who you are, not just to

Speaker:

parts of who you are as a man.

Speaker:

And that is a whole different energy.

Speaker:

And that energy is sometimes in previous episodes and in my content, I speak

Speaker:

about that kind of journey where women find either the bad boy and they feel

Speaker:

some form of charge because even though the bad boy is completely unconscious,

Speaker:

he embodies his primal energy.

Speaker:

Or the kind of nice guy who abandoned his primal energy in the name

Speaker:

of softness, kindness, and love.

Speaker:

But deep down there is so much resentment.

Speaker:

I did previous episodes about this, about this exact topic.

Speaker:

So it's really here where it all comes together, and that's what really awakened

Speaker:

or conscious masculinity truly is.

Speaker:

So when a man is on that journey of opening his heart, then often what

Speaker:

happens is that unconsciously he starts seeing directness as perhaps

Speaker:

aggression, leadership as control, boundaries or assertiveness as harsh.

Speaker:

A man starts to absorb these signals and begins to overcorrect and

Speaker:

constantly second guess himself.

Speaker:

He becomes a very careful man, a very nice man who keeps hesitating, who

Speaker:

is stuck in some form of positivity.

Speaker:

And that kind of hesitation, that kind of being overly careful is not the

Speaker:

true embodiment of masculine energy.

Speaker:

Because it is ultimately, while better than just allowing greed and last to lead

Speaker:

absolutely, it ultimately is still leading from fear, from lack, from insecurity.

Speaker:

And specifically with the feminine shows up the most because women sense

Speaker:

this loss of structure very quickly.

Speaker:

Because attraction is not just built on emotional availability

Speaker:

or emotional openness.

Speaker:

It's also, it's that, but paired with groundedness, stability, and

Speaker:

the capacity of holding direction.

Speaker:

I mean, when has a man being direct, being bold; when has that ever

Speaker:

been associated with something bad?

Speaker:

But yet in our psyche, in our unconscious, there is that connection.

Speaker:

Because many, many men hesitate to be direct, to be bold, to be assertive.

Speaker:

But when it comes from love, it is pure power, pure magnetism, pure attraction,

Speaker:

Ultimately all of this symbolizes a man who doesn't trust his center.

Speaker:

He's not entirely sure about his core, about his essence, about his

Speaker:

masculine energy, about who he is.

Speaker:

And the world is a reflection of our internal world.

Speaker:

So the world responds to that, not punish him simply to reveal.

Speaker:

And no one better than the feminine.

Speaker:

A man who is just in his heart, but without that sense of structure and

Speaker:

spine and stability will cause a loss of attraction with the feminine, a loss

Speaker:

of safety, and the loss of stability.

Speaker:

A man who's only in structure, only in stability, but actually disconnected from

Speaker:

his heart will also cause a loss of trust and the loss of safety and attraction.

Speaker:

It's the integration of both that is missing in this world.

Speaker:

True masculine development is not about becoming softer or more open.

Speaker:

It's about becoming truly integrated.

Speaker:

A mature man can feel deeply and remain steady and hold direction.

Speaker:

So we could say that many men on this path are doing the practice

Speaker:

of dissolving masculinity.

Speaker:

But really what it is about is about refining it or embodying

Speaker:

the true essence of it.

Speaker:

When a man is too careful, too hesitant, too anxious, then he's telling the

Speaker:

world, I don't fully trust my center.

Speaker:

I'm not yet fully rooted in who I truly am.

Speaker:

And the world is going to respond to that.

Speaker:

Embodying that level of fierceness and strength, the reason why many men fear it

Speaker:

is because it might make others slightly uncomfortable, and they try to rescue

Speaker:

other people's feelings and emotions in those moments only being available, only

Speaker:

love only light feels so much more safe.

Speaker:

But truly embodying your edge and boarding your spine doesn't feel safe.

Speaker:

It feels bold.

Speaker:

It feels uncertain, because you don't know how other people are going to react.

Speaker:

But I can assure you if you are rooted in your heart, if it's coming from a place

Speaker:

of love and depth and truth, then people, the right people are going to respond in

Speaker:

the most beautiful ways by trusting you more, by respecting you more, and you will

Speaker:

sense this, especially with the feminine.

Speaker:

There is a completely different energy, a completely different

Speaker:

sexual charge in the relationship when a man can embody that softness

Speaker:

and love at home and that powerful fucking spine in the external world.

Speaker:

And as you are listening to this, you can probably sense

Speaker:

that this goes beyond words.

Speaker:

It's a state of embodiment.

Speaker:

It's a state of breathing, it's a state of being, and it all begins by

Speaker:

accepting the fullness of who you are.

Speaker:

It's powerful and good to be fully man, to be fully masculine in the service of

Speaker:

love, in the service of protecting others.

Speaker:

Then it becomes such a powerful energy.

Speaker:

And this is harder than ever to embody, especially with what's

Speaker:

happening in the world, creating, of course, more of a sense of that

Speaker:

masculinity and masculine energy is bad.

Speaker:

And yes, there are the most toxic expressions of it out there,

Speaker:

but in truth, they have nothing to do with true masculinity.

Speaker:

So men, my message to you is crystal clear.

Speaker:

Don't hesitate.

Speaker:

Don't be too careful.

Speaker:

Be bold.

Speaker:

Stand in your truth.

Speaker:

Take a stance.

Speaker:

Go for a direction.

Speaker:

But don't do it heartless.

Speaker:

Don't do it hurting others.

Speaker:

Do it with love.

Speaker:

Do it with all the love you can master inside your heart.

Speaker:

Because you can have both.

Speaker:

You can be a powerful leader, a powerful warrior, going out in the world, creating,

Speaker:

building, transforming, and create the deepest and most fulfilling relationships,

Speaker:

and in truth, they go hand in hand.

Speaker:

Because that is our true nature as men.

Speaker:

And most likely women, when you hear this, you can feel this.

Speaker:

You sense this energy.

Speaker:

And this energy is building, this energy is rising and it's

Speaker:

going to shift the collective.

Speaker:

But there is still a journey for that shift, and that's fine.

Speaker:

That's the journey we're on.

Thank you for listening.
